This is bigger that just trying to divide us.
Notice all the movies/series/stories the past couple of years. They want us to believe there is more evil than good. They want us to believe that your neighbor would rather steal from you than team up with you.
TV series like The Walking Dead or Jericho. Movies about the post-apocalyptic world. Most of those survival games that have been the craze for almost a decade (at least) now. Even books, such as from the insanely and extraneously popular stephen king.
They are programming us for the day they stop society. The day they make the most drastic move in their agenda. When we need our brothers and sisters the most. When the neighbors whose names we don't know, but who are more like us than different, will be in the best position to help us.
All the media in the past couple of years makes you be scared of others. More willing to hurt, rather than help. More liable to distrust and steal rather than assist and grow.
Every one of the 3 Abrahamic world religions tells you to assume good in others. To respect your neighbor, and to work together for the betterment of everyone.
Don't let the world leaders/criminals tell you otherwise. We outnumber them. The ONLY THING THEY HAVE OVER US IS THEIR ABILITY TO MANIPULATE US. The moment we unite, they lose. And we cannot unite until we realize that most people are good people.
We always talk about how our the generations before us lived in communities. Left their doors unlocked. Knew each other well enough to watch each other's kids, property, etc. We need to stop playing their game, and start helping each other. And if you won't do it because it is right, or because all the media and culture has raised to to hate and judge rather than be hospitable, DO IT BECAUSE ANY RANDOM PERSON, LIKE YOURSELF, IS MUCH MORE LIKELY TO HELP YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES THAN ANY OF THE "ELITE" ARE.
