Total solar (with gen to charge if needed) on 3x forklift batteries. 14kw.

200gal solar hot water per day.

Garden, pigs, goats, rack of propane tanks, entire room as a pantry.

Even spare freezer on pallet just in case friends show up who lost power.

Enough ammo to melt down/wear out all firearms,

enough firearms for all friends who aim to show up.

That's my style.

Considering the average joe, you are ahead of the game just having water filter system and food.

(remember you can use a pump to pull water from pipes or pools and filter for drinking) and a fire source to cook.

That's 99 percent advantage over the typical person.

The three basics after survivalโ€ฆ.

Basics are most important:

Water (get a filtering system and source depends on your surroundings what kind is best)

Food (dried since you will have water is great) do not depend on refrigeration without power.

Essentials (toilet method without water, transportation, hunting, etc)

Power (if lighting or cell phone is desired, generator or solar folding panel would be most of need)

a few hundred bucks puts you in class of being more prepared than 99%
