What if you're given a choice? Keep it all and retain some of yourself. Upload and start the reset off fresh, no baggage, no bad files.
I've actually considered this. We are nothing more than packets of information. When we die, our packet returns to the source or data center. I've imagined the packets are cleaned of duplicate files, corrupt files, viruses, etc. before returning to the source, or possibly source sorts it all. Once done, our 'packet' is clean and free to go collect more data. One could equate this packet as the soul and the data center/source as God.
