Just for clarity, BAOFENG radios will not operate "encrypted".
They're likely just referring to squelch codes, but anyone monitoring on open squelch can hear all transmissions. Guaranteed, the Feds have the capability to monitor and record all bands, simultaneously. To use the word "encrypted", tells me the Prosecutor doesn't know shit about RF operations.
