This is why the Abrams stories are popping up, I think. She's the chum for the reporters to feed on.
They're going to have to blame Abrams for the missing ballots, but are going to have to go with not knowing how the votes fell to try to avoid a decert. Something like an assumption that those ballots fell similarly to the ones that were properly handled.
Not agreeing with that, just my take on what their plan is.
