Victor Orban and Hungary Block EU Motion to Condemn Trump for Moving Embassy to Jerusalem

Hungaray, the Czech Republic and Romania foiled an attempt by the EU to condemn President Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

The European leaders were hoping to send a strong message to Trump.

Meanwhile, attacks on Jewish citizens continue to climb as the continent imports more and more third world migrants.

Viktor Orbán’s Hungary, supported by the Czech Republic and Romania, blocked an EU motion condemning President Donald Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, according to Israeli news anchor Barak Ravid.

Israeli officials and European diplomats told the Channel 10 News journalist that the three countries — part of the Visegrad group of conservative, pro-sovereignty countries within the European Union — blocked the joint statement led by Emmanuel Macron’s France, which was supposed to “embarrass and isolate” the Trump administration internationally.

Rashid said the defeated statement outlined a common European Union position on Israel and Palestine containing the following three points, according to Axios:

Jerusalem should be the capital of both states — Israel and the future state of Palestine.

The final status of Jerusalem should be negotiated and only determined through negotiations between the parties.

The member states of the EU will not follow the U.S. and will not move their embassies to Jerusalem.

Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, was said to have been embarrassed by the failure, with diplomats complaining to Rashid that the bloc’s leadership was finding it harder to direct member-states.

Islamic State-inspired suicide bombers attack three Indonesian churches

Suicide bombers attacked three churches across Indonesia's second-largest city of Surabaya today, killing at least eight people and wounding at least 40 others.

The series of attacks on Sunday were carried out by the Islamic state-inspired group Jemaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) during Sunday mass, a spokesman for the country's intelligence agency said.

Wawan Purwanto, communication director at the agency, also told Metro TV that the attacks were likely to be linked to a deadly prison hostage incident at a jail near Jakarta involving Islamist militants last week.

Asked who he thought were the brains behind the attacks, Purwano said: "Still the old group, JAD, who has planned this for sometime."

"They had planned to attack police targets on May 11 but because the police were prepared, they picked alternative targets," he told Metro TV.

The first of the bombings occurred at the Santa Maria Roman Catholic church around 7.30am, before a second explosion was heard ringing out from a second location.
