I know how you feel, we filed for bankruptcy roughly 13 years ago. It was embarrassing mostly, we got through pretty well. It took a while but we are closing on a new home next week, a conventional loan not a gov loan. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but you have to go home your family needs you! I've been married for 30 years, you don't dump your family because you feel sorry for yourself, that's actually when you work harder for those kids. After all it's all for the kids.
