“Fraudits Have No Place in Colorado” – Democrat Colorado Secretary of State Issues Emergency Rules Prohibiting Election Audits

Democrat Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold on Thursday announced her office issued emergency rules prohibiting election audits.

“My office just issued rules prohibiting sham election audits in the State of Colorado. We will not risk the state’s election security nor perpetuate The Big Lie. Fraudits have no place in Colorado,” Griswold announced, taking a swipe at the Arizona audit.

In Thursday’s press release, Griswold boasted that Colorado’s elections are considered the “safest in the nation.”

Full statement from Colorado Secretary of State’s office:

The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office today adopted emergency elections rules prohibiting third-parties from accessing voting equipment in the state of Colorado.

“Colorado’s elections are considered the safest in the nation, and we must remain steadfast in our dedication to security,” said Secretary of State Jena Griswold. “Along those lines, no third-party person or vendor will be permitted access to voting equipment in our state. We will not risk the state’s election security nor perpetuate The Big Lie. Sham audits have no place in Colorado.”

The new and amended rules, which have been implemented immediately, reinforce who can access state-certified voting systems. In order to access any component of a county’s voting system, a person must have passed a comprehensive criminal background check and be either an employee of the county clerk, an employee of the voting system provider, an employee of the Secretary of State’s Office, or an appointed election judge.

The rules further enable the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office to limit or prohibit the use of, as well as decertify, any voting systems component in the event of a break in its chain-of-custody or other hardware security compromises, such that its security and integrity can no longer be verified.

A third-party vendor with no election experience is currently performing a faulty, unsecure election audit in Arizona and calls for such sham audits have been spreading in other states. Several Colorado counties have been contacted by third parties offering to conduct audits. Colorado already administers post-election Risk Limiting Audits after every statewide election, which gives a statistical level of confidence that the outcome of an election is correct.

Crime boss Bilal Hamze shot dead in Sydney’s CBD

A member of a notorious Sydney crime family has been shot dead in the city’s CBD overnight as a gangland feud escalates.

Notorious crime figure Bilal Hamze has been shot dead in the heart of Sydney’s CBD overnight in what is believed to be an escalation of a deadly underworld feud.

NSW Police have confirmed the cousin of Brothers 4 Life founder Bassam Hamzy was gunned down in an alleyway off Bridge Street about 10.25pm on Thursday night.

Emergency services arrived at the scene near Circular Quay and rushed Hamze to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe the gunman escaped in an Audi and the killer remains on the run. A vehicle was later found burnt out at Northwood on Sydney’s north shore.

A strike force has been established and detectives remained at the closed-off section of Bridge Street between George and Pitt streets on Friday morning canvassing the scene.

Hamze was fatally wounded while walking near popular Sydney restaurant Mr Wong.

NSW Police said on Friday morning that Hamze, 34, was reportedly shot by an unknown person in a black car.

“A crime scene was established and forensically examined by specialist police,” police said in a statement.

“A short time later, police located a burnt-out vehicle at Fleming Street, Northwood, and a second crime scene was established.

Heidi Ferrer, a writer for “Dawson’s Creek,” committed suicide in May after a yearlong battle with COVID-19, her husband said. She was 50.

Her spouse, screenwriter, director and producer Nick Guthe, told Deadline she took her own life May 26. She had contracted COVID-19 in April 2020 and was still fighting the virus over a year later. Ferrer was “bedridden and in constant physical pain” in May due to long-term symptoms of the virus, including severe neurological tremors.

“My beautiful angel, Heidi, passed over tonight after a 13 month battle with Long Haul Covid,” Guthe wrote on Twitter. “She was an amazing mother. She fought this insidious disease with the same ferocity she lived with. I love you forever and I’ll see you down the road.”

As reported by TMZ, Ferrer wrote about her battle with the virus, detailing her symptoms in a September post.

“In my darkest moments, I told my husband that if I didn’t get better, I did not want to live like this. I wasn’t suicidal, I just couldn’t see any quality of life long term and there was no end in sight,” she wrote at the time on her blog GirlToMom, which she started in 2008 to write about raising a child with progressive infantile scoliosis.

Born in Kansas, Ferrer moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s to pursue acting and wound up studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Eventually, she moved onto screenwriting after selling her first spec, “The C Word,” to Academy Award-winning producer Arnold Kopelson, Deadline reported.

Ferrer went on to write episodes of “Dawson’s Creek” and “Wasteland.”

She is survived by her husband; 13-year-old son, Bexon; her mother, Nancy Gilmore; and sisters Laura Frerer-Schmidt and Sierra Summerville.

Army Battalion Commander Under Inquiry After Allegedly Telling Soldiers ‘White People Are the Problem’

Army Lieutenant Col. Andrew Rhodes, the commander of the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Regimental Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, is under preliminary inquiry after allegedly telling troops that “white people are the problem,” according to an Army spokesperson.

“The command is aware of an event involving one of our battalion commanders, we are conducting a preliminary inquiry to gather more information,” a spokesperson told Breitbart News in an email on Wednesday, adding “It would be inappropriate to provide any further details in order to protect the integrity of the inquiry.”

According to an eyewitness source, after soldiers in the battalion received a quarterly Equal Opportunity (EO) brief by an EO representative, Rhodes made additional remarks.

Rhodes allegedly told soldiers that EO and SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) were very important to him, that he would take every accusation very seriously, and that he believed there was only a .01% false accusation rate.

He then allegedly said “white people are the problem” and that white people correcting white people is the way to fix the culture in the military, and that soldiers could not depend on minorities to correct the majority.

The source told Breitbart News: “I agree with some of the statements but I believe it sets a dangerous standard for abusing the already broken Army programs,” adding:

I agreed that some of the culture in the Army needs to change, [but I] didn’t agree with how he singled out that white people are the issue and need to fix ourselves. [It] sounds like he’s only going after one group of people. And saying you will believe everyone sets a dangerous standard. For example, if I don’t like Sgt. Joe, I can just go make a report against him. It may come out with no results but that guy is still known for my complaint against him, and the battalion commander will back him/her all the way.

The source clarified the broken Army programs are SHARP and EO programs: “They have their need in the Army of course — just abused sometimes.”

The source also said others thought Rhodes’ statements were “a bit much and a blanket statement for a very broad subject.”

The source said Rhodes spoke to small groups at a time and that he made similar remarks to other groups throughout the day.

Rhodes’s alleged remarks first came to light after Instagram account TerminalCWO highlighted them on June 8, and then Human Events’s Jack Posobiec reported on them.

TerminalCWO posted a private message from someone attempting to explain Rhodes’s remarks. It said:

Ted Cruz Slams the Democrat Election Takeover Bill: ‘Single Most Dangerous Piece of Legislation’ in Congress

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed the Democrats’ election takeover bill, known as the For the People Act, which he called the “single most dangerous piece of legislation” in Congress during the Senate Republican press conference on elections and voting rights legislation.

The Democrats’ election take-over bill has been dubbed the Corrupt Politicians Act by some Republicans, including Cruz, due to the “brazen power grab” Democrats are trying to have on the voting rights of Americans. Cruz went as far as to say it is the “single most dangerous piece of legislation pending in the United States Congress,” since the Democrats are looking to “federalize elections and to ensure that Democrats cannot lose for the next 100 years.”

Cruz said further that, by doing this, the Democrats are “taking away the right to vote from the citizens and giving it instead to the corrupt politicians in Washington.” He continued to say the legislation would ultimately “strike down virtually every common-sense voter integrity law adopted by the states across the country.”

The Texan also pointed out that 29 states have already adopted voter ID laws. This legislation would repeal the “reasonable, common-sense steps to protect the integrity of elections,” Cruz said. Additionally, the law would strike down the laws that 31 states have to prohibit ballot harvesting, the “corrupt practice of paying political operatives to collect other people’s ballots that invite voter fraud.” The law would mandate ballot harvesting nationwide.

Democrats Design Fallback $6 Trillion Infrastructure Plan Without GOP

Senate Democrats and Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are designing a $6 trillion fallback infrastructure plan for reconciliation if the $1.2 trillion bipartisan plan fails.

“Senate Democrats are weighing spending as much as $6 trillion on their own infrastructure package if the chamber’s bipartisan talks fail, according to two sources familiar with the matter,” Politico reported.

“The bipartisan talks could impact us, but we’re going to keep going,” Sanders said Wednesday about the reported scheme of shoving “$2.5 trillion would go through the Finance Committee, $185 billion through the Energy Committee, and almost $500 billion through the Environment and Public Works Committee.”

On Wednesday, a bipartisan group of 21 Senators released a $1.2 trillion proposal in which tax increases are excluded, presumably along with global warming initiatives.

The $6 trillion fallback plan may become useful if negotiations over the bipartisan plan fail due to far-left Democrats’ demands of including tax hikes and “climate change” measures.

Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said Tuesday she may vote for the bipartisan infrastructure bill if a second reconciliation tactic is planned to include her radical provisions.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s adviser Steve Richetti also stated Tuesday the Senate only has ten days to settle on a bipartisan infrastructure deal. “After that, the House can move towards reconciliation” with the Senate.

The choice to forgo bipartisan discussions and potentially use reconciliation, a tactic used to get around a 60 vote threshold to pass legislation, is dependent on Democrat senators.

Many have hesitated on if they would vote to approve the legislative provisions amid a “vote-a-rama,” a situation where each provision of legislation decided by the previous reconciliation agreement will be voted up or down by a simple Senate majority.

If the Democrats lose just one vote tied to any of the measures, the measure is dead.

Moderate Senate Democrats, therefore, could hold great sway in bargaining specific changes to the provisions with the Senate leadership and ultimately with Biden, who promised to drastically raise taxes, along with changing the economy to fit global warming policies.

It is unknown how Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) would vote on those specific provisions.
