Cannabis is a medicine. If you're already a healthy individual I would not use it. If you're stage 9000 cancer and bedridden that's one thing but otherwise I would avoid it.
1) Cannabis forces uptake of serotonin which adversely lowers dopamine which adversely lowers testosterone and motivation. When serotonin goes up, dopamine goes down and vice versa. And when dopamine goes down so does testosterone.
2) Can accelerate schizophrenia in those who are predisposed to it. Don't get me wrong get a temporary boost in abstract thinking is healthy, but if you're smoking up daily it is not a good habit to form and can rewire the brain into becoming schizo.
3) Most cannabis nowadays is grown with chemical fertilizers and probably laced with even more chemicals like pesticides and who knows what else to get you more addicted to it. Growers are usually still in it for the money and are part of gangs/cartels.
I'm saying this as someone who has smoked weed for years. I used it to quit cigarettes but I noticed I replaced one bad habit for another so now I just drink coffee. Pick your poisonโฆ
Again, if you're severely depressed or have Cancer it might be worthwhile to smoke weed for 2 weeks but don't abuse the damn medicine. Long bouts of exercise in the form of cardio will get you much higher than anything you can every imagine; endorphines are a helluva drug.
