It looks like Alice Cooper told the truth about his families role in the Mormon church in a book that he published in 1976 called "Me, Alice". It was never reprinted, he later claimed it was all lies and started buying them all up. Some copies have sold for $2000, they are selling now on ebay for about $600. Reminds me of that book Donald Barr wrote.
