anon opines this was meant to communicate that there is something pathologically wrong with the general population. Perhaps a silent bioweapon has been used against the population over time to stupify them all and make them more controllable, similar to how the mouse parasite Toxoplasmosis makes mice seek out cats.

Perhaps this is why they need the vax, and why we're not gonna take it.
