I've been thinking about the Chinese defector and I have my own analysis/thoughts about what this means.

The US HAD a constitutional republic at one time. We have been called "a nation of immigrants" and it used to be that just about anyone who worked hard could "get ahead" and move from indentured servant/slave status to middle class, if they adopted our Judeo-Christian world view and lived in traditional families.

The Chinese invaders/land grabbers have another alternative to destroying America and killing Americans. If they "defect" from the satanist/communist mindset whether here or in China and commit themselves to restoring what was lost, they will get all the things they want minus CCP control.

I think Gottlieb might be a pharma shill. There is intended damage to many organs from the CCP virus and the "spike protein" can damage the brain. However, I think Gottlieb probably wants people to fear the virus more than the vaccine. The vaccine turns a human body into a bioweapon factory for the US government patented "spike protein".
