Teachers would like this,

i

t's not education

  • develop kids potential and strengths for advancement

rather indoctrination

  • develop kids as a simple flat mechanical resource.

the biggest fear of the rich has always been the "middle" class

moving closer. Solution: remove the middle class.

recurrent theme in may movies is the dystopian theme

  • only 2 classes: very rich and very poor

that's their plan.

even technology no longer needs to improve

if only the rich have any access to it

… so why do you need smart kids to improve technology?

far easier to throw 1000 stupid kids at doing things the hard way.

or another way of looking at it:

how much pollution can even coal burning power plants make

if only a handful of people have access to electricity?

give the (99%) poor less of everything

… all "shortages" (food, fuel, tech, enjoyment) are fixed.

the goal is not to destroy anything,

rather take it away.

their biggest headache: the improving affluence of the middle class

… nipping at their heels

step 1: remove the middle class.

(you will own nothing … means they own everything,

and inasmuch impossible to EVER join them.)
