Using logic; Fauci is saying the current VAX should protect individuals from newer strains. If that is correct then those who have caught COVID should also be protected from the newer strains as well via their own immune system response and natural antibodies.

Not exactly sure where the test took place but accidents happen. Sometimes things that are in the area get destroyed by accident because no body knew they were there despite warnings to stay away.
