KARL ROVE (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): The president has in the past alluded to several fundamental problems with the Iranian deal. The most important of all that it allows them to continue to enrich [uranium], that it doesn't give us just-in-time, at-will investigations of any suspected facility inside the country, that allows them to continue to develop their missile technologies. All of these things, I suspect, are now going to be on the table. And if I were the French, and the Germans, and the Brits who want to make certain that there is some kind of an agreement there that constraining the Iranians, then I suspect I'd be picking up on those things that the president has said.

There's one other thing, too. This issue of, is this an agreement or is this a treaty? If this were a treaty approved by the United States Senate, and confirmed by our government, and ratified, then I would suspect that the Iranians would have a lot more to squawk about. But this was never a treaty. The president, the previous president refused to submit it to Congress knowing it was such a weak deal and there would have been strong bipartisan opposition to it. We're in this pickle because President Obama blew it with weak and feckless negotiations and with an inability to get it past the Congress. So the president โ€“ the current president ought to learn from those two mistakes and hopefully rectify them in the 90 days or the 180 day periods yet to come.
