Not every follower of Jesus believes in transsubstantiation. That's the Vatican Catholic belief.
Jesus said only to drink the wine an eat the bread in remembrance of him.
He was not a human sacrifice. It was a willing act of love and mercy done for our eternal salvation.
So we can spend the next life in heaven instead of hell.
Jesus was the only one that could do it. Because we are corrupted and He was perfect.
We all fall short of the glory of God.
