It is really something to watch, so many smart people form an instant 'force field' around themselves the moment they first hear trump. You get words like 'cringe' that just instinctively pop out, which I think shows the depths of the programming they are under.
I have tried many times to explain how his speech affectations are a style that he has chosen, to create an effect. Its purpose may be to instantly piss off the kind of person he doesn't like. Or maybe, to instantly identify the kind of sheep mentality he would rather avoid.
When Trump speaks, I interpret everything he says in the parlance of a 'senior exec.' He says bombastic things to guage reaction, he makes over-the-top comparisons so you won't forget them, and he loves pointing out how right he is.
The same people who hate Trump for these reasons are the exact same people who hated Rush Limbaugh, for the same reasons. God bless them both. Some people are just weak minded.
