Is that right? Maybe the rest of the country will realize it too huh? It's not the plan, its the, "players." The plan was to expose them, seems to me it is working pretty good, wouldn't you say?

Water, springs of water, in prophecy, COULD suggest the word of God, or the gospel. So in this case, wormwood would be making the waters bitter, in other words, tainting or corrupting the bible and the gospel so that a third of the so called preachers, dispense bitter water and people die because of false doctrine.

Just one way to look at it.

Septuagint is probably best for old testament translation. Much older than the Masoretic text, it was translated from the Hebrew into Greek.

"The full title (Ancient Greek: Ἡ μετάφρασις τῶν Ἑβδομήκοντα, lit. 'The Translation of the Seventy') derives from the story recorded in the Letter of Aristeas that the Hebrew Torah was translated into Greek at the request of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–247 BCE) by 70 Jewish scholars or, according to later tradition, 72: six scholars from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, who independently produced identical translations."
