>California without water?

Oroville Lake running dry was covered in notables a couple of days ago - if lake drops ~50 more feet…the generators stop turning

CA was estimating that would happen sometime in August, but… level was dropping 1ft/day then, now it's losing 1.25 ft/day–this loss rate would run it dry in July

Consequences?

No hydro-electric electricity for air conditioning during the hottest part of the summer (late July - August)

No water for the Feather River (stress on fish), and subsequently (much less) water for crop irrigation

Drought conditions cause wild fire hazards, esp in that area

If I remember correctly, that region doesn't usually get rain til October/November

Keep an eye on Oroville Dam (again).

>…record setting…$764,000

I see the exquisite detail on this 240-year old painting that sold for a $764,000 - and for the life of me,

can't imagine how Hunter is going to paint anything worth $500,000
