Untested Waters: Trump 2020 Strategic Advisor Epshteyn says Constitution Does Not Prohibit Trump from Being Reinstated as President

Boris Epshteyn, the Strategic Advisor on the Trump 2020 Campaign, joined Dr. Gina Loudon on Real America’s Voice on Monday.

During their discussion, Epstheyn weighed in on the current audit in Arizona and potential outcome after several state election audits expose massive fraud in the 2020 election. Epshteyn responded that the US Constitution does not prohibit Trump reinstatement, the matter has never been ruled upon.

Epshteyn said that “the interplay of the 10th Amendment” to the U.S. Constitution, the 12th Amendment and Article II, “would suggest that states do have a right to decertify. And from then, it’s an open question what happens next.”

He said that after information becomes available from state audits, “decertification should happen because that’s the correct step from the states. And from then on in terms of deciding what to do about the federal election, well, there’s gonna be an open question,” he noted, remarking that he believes that the matter will go before the Supreme Court.

Content-sharing platform Disclose.tv accuses Google and Apple of temporarily ‘censoring’ content on its Telegram group chat

Disclose.tv, a Reddit-like service for people who seek “true insight into what is actually happening in the world” has accused Google and Apple of censoring its group chat on Telegram messenger.

The service blamed “Big Tech oligarchs at Google and Apple” for the apparent glitch in the display of its Telegram chat on devices running Android and iOS operating systems. On Android, all comments were replaced with a notice stating that they “cannot be displayed on Telegram apps downloaded from the Google Play Store.” The iOS version of the messenger simply refused to display the channel.

The web version of Telegram could still access the Disclose.tv channel as normal. The Android variant installed directly rather than through Google’s App Store worked fine as well, the platform said. About an hour after the warning was posted, the display of comments went back to normal.

It was not immediately clear whether the malfunction was indeed an act of censorship by the US tech giants, as claimed by Disclose.tv, or some bug in Telegram code. If the former is true, it would apparently mean that the owners of the stores have the power to selectively suspend content on apps that they distribute to users.

Unlike Google, Apple does not allow users to install apps it has not approved, so the ramifications of the censorship scenario are more profound for iPhone owners.

Disclose.tv is a German-based content sharing platform that has been operational since 2007. It caters for an audience that wants “to gain true insight into what is actually happening as the world becomes increasingly complex,” according to its own description. Its Telegram channel has more than 270,000 subscribers.

Some of the posts on the platform include an observation that four ‘progress pride’ flags with a triangle lapel can form a swastika if placed in a certain way, and a suggestion that the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games foreshadowed the Covid-19 pandemic. With Silicon Valley obsessed with rooting out what they consider misinformation, one can see how Disclose.tv could fall foul with Google and Apple.

After the chat was fixed, the platform called for “breaking up Big Tech.”

Or they say that pharmacies are never open when they do have time, well, let’s address that. Because now, you can let them know that pharmacies across our country are keeping their doors open for 24 hours on Fridays in June, including today. Because we need to meet people where they are! Some folks are working two jobs…” Harris said.

“And what if they say they can’t miss work? Well, you can tell them that there are employers across the country who are offering paid time off for their employees to get vaccinated and we want to encourage and challenge more employers to do the same,’ she said.

The Daily Caller reported yesterday that the Republicans in Congress have finally woke up and decided to ask the CTCL where the money went and how it was spent:

A group of House Republicans sent a letter Monday to the left-leaning group Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), calling on them to explain where the hundreds of millions of dollars they were given during the COVID-19 pandemic went, saying the group spent less than one percent on personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Daily Caller first obtained the letter which was spearheaded by Republican New York Rep. Claudia Tenney who was joined by 13 other House Republicans. The letter mentions that CTCL gave $350 million to nearly 2,500 election officials in 48 states and the District of Columbia in 2020. The lawmakers call on the CTCL to immediately publish their full financial 990s for public review, saying it is the groups legal obligation as a registered 501(c)(3).

“Many state and local entities have reported spending your grant money on expenses as varied and unrelated to COVID-19 as advertising, designing absentee ballots, registering teen voters, automatic voter registration, and even pay raises and new vehicle purchases. An elections supervisor in Lowndes County, Georgia, stated that CTCL was ‘very lenient regarding what we could spend the money on. They put virtually no restrictions on it as long as it relates to the election.’ Furthermore, it appears that 92% of CTCL grants were given to overwhelmingly Democrat-leaning precincts,” the letter states.

What Congress should also look at is the pyramid of far-left nonprofits showing bias in all they do. This is against the law:

501(c)(3) nonprofits are prohibited from “participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.”

It certainly appears what these far-left groups do is against the law. Their existence is against the law.

‘The Italian Job’ Unfolds and Behind It Are Trump Haters and RINOs

Though her name was not mentioned in either document, both Virginia organizations are led by Michele Roosevelt Edwards, according to state corporate filings reviewed by The Washington Post. Edwards is a former Republican congressional candidate who built a reputation as an advocate for the Somali people and as someone who could negotiate with warlords and pirates in the war-torn region.

This story, known as ‘Italygate’ or ‘the Italian Job’, was put together to destroy President Trump. It wasn’t true. If the Trump team bought into this story (or any story like it) and they were found to be pushing a storyline that was not true (like data from the US Election was manipulated overseas and inserted back into the election) they would lose all credibility in the public square and any efforts to prove election fraud (which there are many) would be ignored and forgotten.

4 times as many US soldiers and vets died by suicide than in combat since 9/11 War on Terror – study

The forever wars that the US launched after 9/11 led to a surge in military suicides, a new study claims, with traumatized soldiers taking their own lives as they are repeatedly deployed in conflicts that have no public support.

A new report by Brown University’s Costs of War Project provides a new insight into what many dubbed an epidemic of suicides among the US military. Based on data from the DoD, the VA and secondary sources, the study found that at least four times as many military lives were lost to suicide than to combat in wars launched since the 9/11 terrorist attack.

Since President George W. Bush launched his global War on Terror in 2001, 7,057 service members have been killed in military operations. Over the same period, an estimated 5,116 active-duty personnel died by suicide. Between 2011 and 2020, 1,193 National Guard service members and 1,607 Reserve component service members also took their own lives. The suicide death toll among veterans of those wars was conservatively estimated at 22,261. The numbers totals 30,177 – more than four times higher than the combat deaths.

The estimated number of suicides is a minimum, the report stressed, as there was no statistical data available for Reserve and National Guard deaths prior to 2011. In addition, the statistics do not necessarily include every suicide, since in some cases attribution may be difficult. Overdose deaths, weapon misfires or single-vehicle crashes may not be conclusively linked to suicidal behavior.

Even so, the recorded suicide rates among both active-duty service members and veterans have surged and significantly surpass those in the general population, which itself has been increasing in the US, the study said.

This goes against historical trends. Active-duty personnel usually have lower suicide rates than the general public and these went even lower during wartime in every US conflict before Vietnam. More recent military suicide deaths continued to climb even after combat deaths sharply decreased after 2007.

World Health Organization Says Do Not Give Children Experimental Coronavirus Vaccine Shots

In America, national, state, and local governments are pulling out all the stops to advance giving experimental coronavirus shots to children down to the age of 12.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has a different approach. The WHO says do not vaccinate children, at least not yet.

At its website, the WHO offers this advice regarding giving experimental coronavirus vaccines, some of which are not even vaccines under the normal meaning of the term, to children:

Children should not be vaccinated for the moment.

There is not yet enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Children and adolescents tend to have milder disease compared to adults.

However, children should continue to have the recommended childhood vaccines.

Term ‘white privilege’ disadvantages white working-class kids, MPs’ report finds, reigniting Britain’s race row

A new report which claims the term “white privilege” can be “divisive” and disadvantgaes the white working class has sparked fresh debate on “racist Britain", with some accusing the government of deflecting from its own errors.

The report by MPs on the Education Select Committee, released on Monday, has caused a stir, after it suggested that white working-class children have been left behind, partially due to potentially “divisive” terms such as “white privilege.”

The Education Select Committee, which consists of serving MPs, accused the Department for Education (DfE) of failing to realise the extent of the challenge which had left working-class kids behind for generations.

Conservative MP and committee chairman Robert Halfon said Britain “desperately” needs to “move away from dealing with racial disparity by using divisive concepts like white privilege that pits one group against another," adding: “Disadvantaged white children feel anything but privileged when it comes to education.”

The report has been widely condemned by Twitter’s serial complainers, with many accusing the committee of siding with Boris Johnson’s non-woke Tory government. The report’s findings broadly reflect views already expressed by the controversial Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities which was set up following Black Lives Matter activities in 2020. The commission had been accused of whitewashing a report into discrimination in the UK.

Commenting on the new report, British author Eve Ainsworth said she had always been aware of her “white privilege” despite her working-class background and denounced Johnson’s “elitist” government for not being able to separate the two.

Activist and outspoken leftist Femi Oluwole was also quick to defend the use of the term “white privilege” and seemed to question whether the white working class really were disadvantaged by their situation.

“Like most black kids, my parents told me I needed to work twice as hard as the white kids at school in order to succeed. Turned out to be a statistical fact,” he wrote, adding ironically that the Tories seem to believe educational inequality stems from racism against white kids.

Others dismissed the committee’s findings entirely and blasted Conservative austerity instead.

“The “systemic neglect” of white working-class pupils is due to teaching concepts like “#WhitePrivilege,” rather than, say, 10-years of ideologically-driven austerity?” the Northern Independence Party, a left-wing party demanding independence for Northumbria and beyond, wrote on Twitter.

Russian Warships Practice Sinking Aircraft Carrier 35 Miles Off Hawaii Coast As US Places F22s On Standby

But in a new alarming statement the US Navy is confirming that at one point Russian vessels and aircraft came a mere 35 miles off Hawaii's coast as the massive war games were underway. While stressing that the foreign military assets stayed within international waters, spokesman for US Indo-Pacific Command Navy Capt. Mike Kafka, said, "At the closest point, some ships operated approximately 20 to 30 nautical miles (23 to 34 statute miles) off the coast of Hawaii," he said. "We closely tracked all vessels."

As NY DAs drop charges against rioters, NYPD watchdog concludes 39 officers deserve punishment for response to BLM riots last year

Following news that district attorneys in New York City have dropped the majority of charges against rioters in recent months, an oversight board for the city's police has recommended that 39 officers face disciplinary action for their conduct during last year's Black Lives Matter protests.

In the report released Monday, the Civilian Complaint Review Board concluded that 14 officers — including a captain and a sergeant — should face criminal charges for their behavior, while the remaining 25 should face disciplinary penalties ranging from 1 to 10 days.

Complaints leveled against the officers leading to recommended discipline included force, abuse of authority, offensive language, discourtesy, and untruthful statement.

"So far, the CCRB has substantiated 26 complaints of misconduct containing 48 allegations against 39 officers," the watchdog organization wrote in the report. "The Board has recommended serving Charges in 12 complaints, Command Discipline B in 4 complaints, and Command Discipline A in 10 complaints. The current substantiation rate in fully-investigated protest complaints is 35%."

The CCRB noted that since the start of its investigation last summer, it has received over 750 complaints relating to the behavior of NYPD officers during the Black Lives Matter protests. In the end, those notices resulted in 303 cases containing more than 2,000 allegations that fell within the organization's jurisdiction.

The watchdog added that it is awaiting interviews with officers in 38 of 147 investigations that still remain open and is facing unprecedented challenges identifying officers involved in the complaints due to their failure to follow identification protocols.

What else?

The report comes as New York City district attorneys have dropped hundreds of charges against rioters and looters in recent months, angering businesses in the city that were ravaged as part of the protests.

Additionally, in the cases that haven't been dropped, a bulk of the suspects were reportedly tried on lesser counts — such as trespassing — that do not result in jail time.

In the meantime, the district attorneys are reportedly prioritizing a probe into the Trump Organization on allegations of tax, loan, and insurance fraud.

In response to the news, the NYPD told TheBlaze it plans to "study the CCRB's recommendations through the established processes between our two agencies."

TheBlaze reached out to the New York City Police Benevolent Association, the city's largest police union, for additional comment on the CCRB's recommendations, but has not yet received a reply.

New Harvard Data Accidentally Reveal How Lockdowns Crushed Middle Class, Left Elites Unscathed

Founding father and the second president of the United States John Adams once said that “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” What he meant was that objective, raw numbers don’t lie—and this remains true hundreds of years later.

We just got yet another example. A new data analysis from Harvard University, Brown University, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation calculates how different employment levels have been impacted during the pandemic to date. The findings reveal that government lockdown orders devastated workers at the bottom of the financial food chain but left the upper-tier actually better off.

The analysis examined employment levels in January 2020, before the coronavirus spread widely and before lockdown orders and other restrictions on the economy were implemented. It compared them to employment figures from March 31, 2021.

The picture painted by this comparison is one of working-class destruction.

Employment for lower-wage workers, defined as earning less than $27,000 annually, declined by a whopping 23.6 percent over the time period. Employment for middle-wage workers, defined as earning from $27,000 to $60,000, declined by a modest 4.5 percent. However, employment for high-wage workers, defined as earning more than $60,000, actually increased 2.4 percent over the measured time period despite the country’s economic turmoil.

Some critics argue that the pandemic, not government lockdowns, are the true source of this economic duress. While there’s no doubt the virus itself played some role, government lockdowns were undoubtedly the single biggest factor. It’s pretty intuitive that ordering people not to patronize businesses and criminalizing peoples’ livelihoods would hurt the economy. This intuition is confirmed by data and studies showing as much. And don’t forget the fact that heavy lockdown states have consistently had much higher unemployment rates than states that took a more laissez-faire approach.

Others might insist that the mitigation of the spread of COVID-19 accomplished by lockdowns justifies this economic fallout. But this argument fails to account for the many peer-reviewed studies showing lockdown orders did not effectively slow the pandemic’s spread, or the painfully inconvenient fact that most COVID-19 spread occurred not in workplaces, restaurants, or gyms but at home. (Making “stay-at-home orders” seem like an astonishing mistake in hindsight.)

So, all lockdowns really seem to have accomplished is at best a mild delay in the pandemic’s trajectory in exchange for a host of lethal unintended consequences such as a mental health crisis and skyrocketing drug overdoses. And, as we now know, a highly regressive economic fallout for the working class.

Of course, Ivy League researchers almost certainly did not intend to expose the failings of big government pandemic policies when they set out to catalog employment data. But, as Adams said, facts are stubborn things.

Nearly 4,000 Fully Vaccinated People in Massachusetts Test Positive for COVID-19

Nearly 4,000 people in Massachusetts who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have contracted the virus, adding to the growing number of breakthrough cases nationwide.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, as of June 12, there were 3,791 people who tested positive for COVID-19 among the 3.7 million fully vaccinated people in the state, accounting for roughly one in 1,000 vaccinated individuals.

“We’re learning that many of the breakthrough infections are asymptomatic or they’re very mild and brief in duration,” said Boston University infectious diseases specialist Davidson Hamer, the Boston Herald reported. “The viral load is not very high.”

“Breakthroughs are expected, and we need to better understand who’s at risk and whether people who have a breakthrough can transmit the virus to others,” Hamer added. “In some cases, they’ll be shedding such low levels of the virus and won’t be transmitting to others.”

So-called breakthrough cases refer to cases appearing two or more weeks after a person’s final shot. That’s primarily the second Pfizer or Moderna dose, but can be the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

“Vaccine breakthrough cases are expected,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states on its website. “COVID-19 vaccines are effective and are a critical tool to bring the pandemic under control. However, no vaccines are 100 percent effective at preventing illness. There will be a small percentage of people who are fully vaccinated who still get sick, are hospitalized, or die from COVID-19.”

The health agency added, “There is some evidence that vaccination may make illness less severe.”

The CDC said last month that through April 30, 10,262 breakthrough infections were reported from 46 U.S. states and territories to the agency.

Of the cases, more than six in 10 occurred in females, with the median patient age being 58, according to a new report from the CDC, which stopped counting breakthrough infections as of May 1, except for those that cause hospitalization or death.

Approximately 10 percent of the patients required hospital care, and 160, or about 1.5 percent, died.

Fox News credited The National Pulse’s “bombshell” exposés on Peter Daszak and Google’s funding of Daszak’s research for revealing the corruption behind COVID-19’s origins.

Fox News Primetime’s host said, “…for nearly a year Google has been working overtime to keep us from uncovering the true origins of Covid-19, and we may now be learning why… The same guy that may have played a crucial role in creating the novel coronavirus was in charge of finding its cause.”

Patriot influencer Julia Song tells NATIONAL FILE that a federal agent contacted her via direct message on Twitter to get her to join their “team,” presumably to work against conservatives. Song turned them down. Song, a patriot commentator who has appeared on One America News, wants other conservatives to be wary of “federal overreach.”

Song told NATIONAL FILE that “your gut feeling (about Feds stalking patriots) is right. At least its what’s happened to me” and noted “This place (Twitter) is swarming with them.”

“They asked if i would consider joining their team. I said no and that was the end of it. I don’t know if it was a one off or if its a widespread attempt,” Julia Song said, noting that the request happened prior to the January 6 Capitol protest.

NATIONAL FILE REPORTED: Livestreamer Anthime “Baked Alaska” Gionet revealed during an interview with Milo Yiannopoulos on Monday that federal agents have attempted to force him to cooperate with their persecution of Jan. 6 defendants by leveraging the threat of an “obstruction of Congress” felony charge over his head.

“I walked through an open door [at the Capitol], and that’s crazy because they’re trying to charge me with trespassing and disorderly conduct,” Gionet said. “And now, the feds are threatening to slap me with a felony if I don’t cooperate with them, and I’m not even sure what that really means.”

Georgia Conducting Secret 2020 Ballot Review—Keeping Plaintiffs in the Dark

After several Fulton County, Ga., poll monitors testified last year that boxes of mail-in ballots for Joe Biden looked liked they’d been run through a photocopy machine, state investigators quietly broke the seal on one suspicious box and inspected the hundreds of votes it contained for signs of fraud, RealClearInvestigations has learned exclusively.

At the same time, a key whistleblower told RCI that state investigators pressured her to recant her story about what she and other poll monitors had observed—what they called unusually “pristine” mail-in ballots while sorting through them during last November’s hand recount.

“I felt I was under investigation,” said Suzi Voyles, a longtime Fulton County poll manager whose sworn affidavits have been used by election watchdogs to sue the county for access to the ballots in question.

In a Jan. 7 interview, which took place at a secretary of state’s office in Atlanta, Voyles told RCI that an investigator identifying himself as Paul Braun “grilled me for over two hours” about her testimony. She said he was joined by another official whom she said was from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. She added that the investigators did not have a copy of her affidavit and did not know the box number and batch numbers of the ballots in question.

“I smelled a rat when they didn’t know the batch numbers when they were clearly denoted in my affidavit,” Voyles said.

She added the investigators “gave no indication” they had gone to the warehouse to find the suspicious ballots or were conducting any kind of forensic investigation. Voyles said the investigators kept trying to convince her she might have been mistaken about her observations.

“I did not recant,” she asserted. “The ballots that I saw had been pre-printed. It’s a very serious thing in my opinion. That’s what I swore to under penalty of perjury. Recanting would be perjuring myself.”

Watson told RCI that Voyles “stated that she may have been mistaken about the batch number and provided a different batch number.”

“I never said that,” Voyles insisted.

“The second batch number provided by Ms. Voyles did not exist,” Watson added.

Voyles contended she never provided any other batch numbers. Watson also revealed that “investigators went to Fulton County and reviewed the batches identified by Ms. Voyles, but found no ballots that looked as Ms. Voyles described.” Favorito said his group’s attorney plans to file a motion to depose Watson and Braun to understand exactly what investigators have done regarding the boxes of absentee ballots in question.

Favorito said he does not doubt Voyles’ testimony and said the ballot images his group has reviewed support her account of anomalies.

“At no time has Susan Voyles claimed she was mistaken,” Favorito said. “She has consistently stood by her affidavit since she submitted it almost seven months ago.”

Asked if Voyles is under criminal investigation, Georgia Secretary of State Communications Director Ari Schaffer said, “I have no reason to believe she’s under investigation for perjury.” Last December, Raffensperger “condemned” the unexplained firing of Voyles by Fulton County elections officials and called on them to rehire her.

CDC Canceled Emergency Meeting on Lethal COVID Vaccine Side Effects in Children to Celebrate Juneteenth Instead

The CDC canceled an emergency meeting where advisers were slated to discuss links between the COVID-19 vaccine and over 200 potentially lethal cases of heart-related side effects in teen boys so that the government agency could observe the new Juneteenth federal holiday instead.

Numerous cases of myocarditis, a lethal condition of the heart, and similar side effects, have been documented in Pfizer and AstraZeneca brand COVID-19 vaccine recipients, specifically teenage boys. While advisers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were slated to hold an emergency meeting over the past weekend to investigate the deadly vaccine side effect, the meeting was cancelled at the last minute by the agency in honor of the new Juneteenth federal holiday. The CDC says the topic has been rescheduled and will be tacked on to the June 23-25 meeting, though it doesn’t appear that the effect will be the main topic of discussion.

Members of the medical community have blasted the CDC’s move, with Johns Hopkins health policy expert and Fox News contributor Dr. Marty Makary comparing the cancellation to a doctor skipping out his patients and questioning the seriousness of the bureaucratic CDC.

“I think we’re getting a glimpse into the lack of urgency that we’ve seen at the CDC for a lot of the pandemic,” Dr. Makary said. “This is what frustrates doctors about the bureaucratic state. Doctors have a duty to serve.” Makary added, ”I thought this was a joke,” Makary later posted of the cancellation to Twitter, going on to recommend that kids stop receiving the experimental vaccine.

Just ahead of the CDC’s Juneteenth cancellation, an otherwise healthy Michigan 13-year-old named Jacob Clynick died. Jacob’s death came just 3 days following his 2nd dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine. According to his aunt, who maintains that she is very pro-vaccine, preliminary autopsy results show that Clynick died of heart symptoms that appear to have been myocarditis.

As previously reported by National File, Clynick’s aunt, Tami Burages has called for a government investigation into the vaccine death and others like it and questioned whether her nephew was used as a “sacrificial lamb” in the name of vaccination efforts.

“The @CDCgov needs to investigate this,” Burages wrote. “There have been other cases of myocarditis in young men receiving their 2nd @pfizer shot. Have others died from it in the United States or is my nephew the first?” She added, “Should any innocent child be a sacrificial lamb in this endeavor? There are moral, ethical and health questions that need to be answered. If Jacob had not received the 2nd shot, we believe he would be alive today.”

Arizona Republicans Advance Two Election Bills: ‘Biggest Yellow Flag for Voter Fraud’

Arizona House Republicans moved to advance two election-related bills, including when recounts can be initiated and about how mismatched signatures should be handled.

On Monday, the House approved an amendment to Senate Bill 1241 that would mandate county election authorities to refer mismatched signatures to the Attorney General’s office or county attorneys for a potential investigation. That bill passed 31–29 along party lines.

The other bill that passed, Senate Bill 1083, would expand the circumstances in which a recount would be initiated after a close election. Arizona’s current law stipulates that the margin of victory as to be within one-tenth of the 1 percent of the vote total between the top two candidates, or between 10 and 200 votes.

But Senate Bill 1083 would require a recount if the margin of victory is within 0.5 percent of the combined vote total, according to the text of the measure.

The bill was likely passed in response to President Joe Biden’s reported margin of victory over former President Donald Trump during last year’s general election. Officials declared Biden the winner after finding that he won by about 10,000 votes, or about 0.3 percent of the two candidates’ vote total.

Republican Rep. John Kavanagh, who sponsored the signature-match bill, said the measure would combat possible voter fraud. He noted that because nobody follows up on ballots with mismatching signatures, it needs to be addressed.

“That is almost the biggest yellow flag for voter fraud that I can think of—the signatures don’t match and you can’t contact the voter. There’s a chance there that that’s a fraudulent ballot. And that should be investigated,” he told the Arizona Mirror. “It’s easy to claim there’s no fraud in early ballots if you never look for fraud, even when it may be staring you right in the face.”

Alternatively, the lawmaker said the bill is necessary because state officials “don’t know what the scope of the problem is because right now nobody investigates potentially fraudulent ballots.”

State House Democrats, who voted against both measures, alleged that Republicans are perpetuating what they described as myths about rampant fraud during elections.

“The assumption is going to be made that you were fraudulently casting that ballot and the attorney general is going to get involved,” said Rep. Kelli Butler, a Democrat, as reported by The Associated Press. “I believe that’s going to intimidate voters. I can’t imagine having a knock on my door from law enforcement related to my vote.”

Both election bills require the approval of the Senate, which is controlled by Republicans.

It’s not clear if Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey will sign the measures into law. In late May, Ducey vetoed 22 bills that were passed by the GOP-controlled Legislature—including bills on election integrity and critical race theory.

Joe Biden Plans Speech to Blame Guns for Rise in Violent Crime

President Joe Biden will deliver a speech Wednesday that will blame gun ownership for a dramatic rise in violent crime in America’s major cities.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki previewed Biden’s upcoming address during the daily press briefing on Monday.

“The President feels a lot — a great deal of the crime we’re seeing is a result of gun violence,” she said. “You can expect he’ll speak to that and his commitment to continuing to address gun violence and gun safety in the country.”

Biden will acknowledge the rise in violent crimes that occurred under his watch as Democrats face a crippling political narrative that their policies are to blame.

The murder rate has risen 25 percent and violent crime rose about three percent, according to new FBI data.

Republicans blame Democrats for the rise in violent crime after they embraced the radical left anti-police agenda promoted by the Black Lives Matter movement.

A Fox News poll released in May showed that 73 percent of Americans believe crime is higher in 2021 under President Joe Biden than it was under former President Donald Trump in 2020.

Psaki signaled Biden would likely point out that violent crime in America’s major cities also increased under Trump, in an attempt to escape blame.

“[T]here’s been actually a rise in crime over the last five years, but really the last 18 months,” Psaki said, trying to excuse any blame on the rise in violent crime from Biden’s leadership.

But 37 cities with data for the first three months of the year showed an 18 percent increase in murders compared to the same time period in 2020.

Biden has privately addressed concerns that the “defund the police” movement was hurting Democrats politically.

In a conversation with civil rights leaders after the 2020 presidential election, Biden said they should not “get too far ahead ourselves on dealing with police reform.”

“That’s how they beat the living hell out of us across the country, saying that we’re talking about defunding the police,” Biden said in December 2020.

But during the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden engaged anti-police protestors blaming police departments for escalating tensions with the black community. He also voiced his support for “redirecting” funds from police departments.

The anti-police rhetoric has taken a heavy toll on police departments, as a growing number of officers are retiring across the country.

The president previously tried to pin the rise in crime on gun ownership in April, during a speech condemning gun violence as “an epidemic” and “an international embarrassment.”

He vowed to continue pushing for more gun control as the answer to the rise in violent crime.

“No amendment to the Constitution is absolute,” Biden said.
