The 250 billion was way more than hush money. As I understand it, it was also funding for a huge black site in Iran and a general slush fund for the EU including but not limited to other black sites.

Who do elected leaders report to? //The People
Pickle. // They're in a pickle because they are beholden to their voters but controlled by elites and constantly look bad or incompetent because good things don't get done
Will Iran expose the names of corrupt officials? // Corrupt officials will be disgraced and no one will vote for them
Pickle. // They're damned either way - if they serve the people (go along with POTUS and accept death of Iran Deal), the elites will try to destroy them and make them unelectable to the people. If they keep going along with the elites, the people will finally see the light and stop voting for them (voter fraud ended)
Will the US expose the names of corrupt officials + con deal? // As much as I want everyone I bump into on the street to be mentally free right now this second, my gut says let's see if Iran will do it first. It will carry even more power that way

I think Q is asking us HOW they should lose. Do we let Iran expose them? Do we expose them ourselves?
It's BOTH the voters and the elites who try to manipulate the voters who affect whether people get elected and re-elected. For example - Obama - Mostly good press, even though most everyone felt like if he was really doing anything good, they sure weren't getting anything out of it. A HORRIBLE President, but one who just barely won TWICE. Then you have someone like Trump, who gets the worst press in the history of the world, who does the most good in a very long time and who should be loved by all, has good but not great support overall because of elites punishing Trump with the press for not obeying them.
