[en] For several reasons such as waste disposal, expenses, proliferation and safety, global growth of the commercial nuclear power production has been effectively stagnated, since the early 1970's. A new reactor fuel cycle has been proposed which removes the concerns about proliferation and disposal of nuclear wastes that are the major obstructions in development of nuclear power production.
