Psychoactive drugs take you out of your fucking mind, just where the nefarious powers that be, want you.
Indeed, a truth. Those under the influence of psychoactive drugs can't 'grow up', it causes emotional developmental arrest. Even tho their adults, they have the emotional level of a young child and pot is one of the worst. It's one of the most tragic features, residual effects, of chronic use.
Observe their responses, first sign of addiction is 'denial'. Ergo, 1st responders of muh post.
Powers that be what them stuck in that state for a reason.
It is sad muh fren, it takes one right out of reality and if your mind is in a constant alternate reality, your not yourself, and when you are not yourself, you've given up your own identity bc you don't know who the fuck you are under the influence.
Many I know are in the same tailspin, it gets worse never better.
Here's the problem, when one converses w/an addict, you get the addict talking back justifying their use as you've witnessed.
Somewhere deep inside is your real fren, covered with dishonesty, misconceptions w/psychosis inducing drugs. I can only pray he pokes his head up at some point, gets help, and the chains of drug addictions are lifted and has a full recovery.
