there are a crew of foreign women who have the personality type of 'don't accuse me' and get away with gross incompetency working cash registers at a major chain of big box stores in my region. Some of the store have this kind of person, most of them do not.
but when that type is working the register they slow walk everyone.
ususally they have them on after 9 PM and the stor is open for a while. So if you go there at that time you're essentially wasting your time in line.
and it's blatent and obvious. It's like the help there doesn't want to be open, so they just pretend not to be.
they'd do a lot of sales if people could get out of the check out line in less than twenty minutes. For just one or two people in front of you.
I think it's intentional.
going to those store is useless except for a power walk (which I don't mind doing at 10 PM).
but if I see something I want to buy, I have to go back the next day when there are managers there who won't put up with that kind of incompetence.
