Iran Claims Biden Offered to Lift 1,040 Trump-era Sanctions

Iran is claiming that the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden offered to remove 1,040 sanctions that were imposed during the administration of President Donald Trump, as Biden tries to entice Iran to resume the 2015 nuclear deal.

The original deal lifted sanctions on Iran and gave it access to billions of dollars in return for commitments to slow nuclear research and development for about a decade. Iran continued to pursue nuclear weapons, despite the deal.

The Times of Israel reported Wednesday:

As part of nuclear talks in Vienna, Washington has agreed to lift sanctions on Iran’s oil and shipping sectors, as well as to remove several senior officials from its blacklists, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s chief of staff said Wednesday.

“All issues of insurance, oil and shipping have been agreed, and about 1,040 sanctions from the Trump era will be lifted according to this agreement,” Mahmoud Vaezi told reporters on the sidelines of Wednesday’s cabinet meeting.

Officials who would have sanctions removed included several figures from Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s inner circle, he said.

Iran’s incoming president, Ebrahim Raisi, has declared that Iran will not agree to restrictions on its ballistic missile development or its support for terrorism throughout the region as a condition to the resumption of the nuclear deal.

President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the deal in 2018 and applied new sanctions to Iran over human rights abuses, terrorism, and nuclear concerns. Iran has resumed nuclear enrichment, but has also suffered setbacks — partly as the result of apparent sabotage by Israel, which detonated an explosive at the underground Natanz facility earlier this year.

Israel has said that it will not consider itself bound by any renewed nuclear deal, and outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that it will act to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power, with or without a deal, or U.S. support.

LEAKED CABLE: Hillary Clinton Privately Warned France that Wuhan P4 Lab May Lead to Bioweapon Research

In a leaked State Department cable from 2009, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that the Wuhan Institute of Virology could lead to “biological weapons proliferation concern.”

The cable, obtained via Wikileaks, was sent from the State Department in June 2009 to all embassies in member nations ahead of the Australia Group plenary session in Paris, September 21-25, 2009. The Australia Group is an international export control forum organized to prevent the spread of technologies and research that could be used in chemical and biological weapons. All Five Eyes nations are members of the group, including the EU, India, Japan, and South Korea. China is not a member of the group.

The cable stated, “We believe it is important to focus on emerging chemical and biological technologies, trends in the trade of CBW-related goods and threats.”

When it came to France, Secretary Clinton’s cable noted:

“The U.S. believes participants would benefit from hearing about your experiences assisting China in setting up a Biosafety Level-4 (BSL-4) laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology from the export control and intangible technology transfer perspectives. We are particularly interested to know how China plans to vet incoming foreign researchers from countries of biological weapons proliferation concern.”

More broadly on the question of China’s biological weapons program, Secretary Clinton’s cable noted:

“The U.S. believes AG members would be interested in any information you can share related to China and North Korea, specifically information related to:

China’s Institutes of Biological Products (locations in Beijing and Wuhan), to include overhead imagery analysis, if possible.

Since the outbreak of COVID19 and questions surrounding the Wuhan lab, Hillary Clinton has never spoken publicly of these concerns, but has attacked people bringing them up as racist, and blamed them for attacks on Asian-Americans, without evidence.

Teach Children Civil Disobedience, to Protest Climate Change, Says Majority of Teachers

Almost all teachers in England believe that an “action-focused climate change curriculum” should be incorporated across subjects, with more than half saying that secondary school pupils should be taught to protest global warming.

The University of Bristol led the largest survey of its kind by asking primary (four to 11 years old) and secondary (11 to 18 years old) school teachers in England their views on climate change education, which is currently limited to science and geography lessons.

The findings, in the report “The views of teachers in England on an action-oriented climate change curriculum” published in Environmental Education Research, revealed that teachers “almost unanimously” believed that “action-focused” lessons should be incorporated across the whole curriculum, according to a University of Bristol press release published on Wednesday.

A majority (54 per cent) also believe the curriculum should extend to “participation in civil disobedience” at secondary school.

Three-quarters (72 per cent) of teachers are already talking about global warning with pupils, with almost all (97 per cent) of teachers in the country believing that climate change is manmade.

Almost one in five (19 per cent) thought that climate change was more important than funding STEM (science, technology, engineering, medicine) subjects.

The report’s lead author, Professor of Neuroscience and Education Paul Howard-Jones, said that the findings show teachers want their pupils to be informed about the so-called “climate emergency”, and that they are “ready and willing to move forward with radical, action-oriented programmes of education that can help students drive our response to climate change”.

Another of the paper’s authors also pinpointed the influence of the young climate change saint, Greta Thunberg — who was recently immortalised in bronze at the English University of Winchester — on children, with Professor Howard-Jones also implying young people were taking cues from Extinction Rebellion vandals, who have been branded “criminals” by the home secretary.

Children’s ‘passion’ for climate change has resulted in a rise of what the American Psychological Association described in 2019 as “eco-anxiety”. Similarly, psychologists in the UK found that young children were feeling anxiety and even grief in relation to alleged anthropogenic climate change.

In 2020, the BBC’s Newsround revealed that one in five youngsters between eight and 16 were having nightmares about climate change.

Second Cold War? Merkel Successor Says Germany Should Not Try to Contain Communist China

The leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the likely successor to Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germany should refrain from trying to contain the rise of Communist China for fear of sparking a second Cold War.

Armin Laschet, who replaced Angela Merkel as leader of Germany’s governing party earlier this year and is widely expected to become the next Chancellor later this year, said that an adversarial stance towards the communist regime in Beijing would be counterproductive and that his government would look to partner with the CCP on issues such as climate change.

“The question is — if we’re talking about ‘restraining’ China, will that lead to a new conflict? Do we need a new adversary?” Laschet said in an interview with the Financial Times, adding: “And there the European response was cautious, because, yes, China is a competitor and a systemic rival, it has a different model of society, but it’s also a partner, particularly in things like fighting climate change.”

The continuity Merkel candidate for the German chancellorship said that the West should refrain from taking a Cold War-style stance towards China.

“The 21st century is very different and the prism of how the world looked before 1989 offers limited advice,” he explained, adding: “We have a multipolar world [now] with different actors.”

The CDU politician went on to say that while Germany should not refrain from addressing “critical issues”, he expressed doubt over the effectiveness of challenging authoritarian regimes, such as China, on their human rights records.

“I’m not sure that always speaking out, loudly and aggressively, in public about a country’s human rights situation really leads to improvements on the ground,” Laschet said.

“Often you can reach more in the area of human rights by addressing issues in private conversations with leaders of other countries than by talking about it in press conferences,” he added.

The CDU leader claimed that this would not mean that he would take a soft approach on China if elected, saying: “I would try to foster our partnership wherever possible, and, at the same time, make clear what we expect from China: that it accept reciprocity, embrace multilateralism and respect human rights.”

881 Secret Service employees - including 447 agents in the president and VP's security details - tested positive for COVID in 12 months from March 2020

Roughly 900 U.S. Secret Service employees tested positive for the coronavirus, according to government records obtained by a government watchdog group.

Secret Service records show that 881 people on the agency payroll were diagnosed with COVID-19 between March 1, 2020 and March 9, 2021, according to documents obtained by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington .

The records received through a Freedom of Information Act request did not include the names or assignments of those who tested positive.

But more than half - 477 - worked in the special agent division, which is responsible for protecting the president and vice president, as well as the families of these leaders and other government officials.

249 members of the uniformed division, 131, administrative staff, 12 Investigative Protection Officers and 12 Technical Security Investigators also tested positive, according to the data.

CREW noted that the Trump administration took actions that risked exposure to Secret Service workers, but it could not verify a direct connection to possible infections because the identities of those infected remains private.

After President Donald Trump contracted COVID-19, he took a drive in his presidential vehicle as Secret Service personnel drove and protected him.

Trump defended his 'joy ride' and insisted the Secret Service agents inside were 'heavily protected'. He said he 'owed his fans a little wave'.

Dr James Phillips, a Walter Reed attending doctor, condemned the president's drive.

Phillips, chief of disaster medicine at George Washington University's Emergency Medicine division, said that the design of the presidential vehicle, which is hermetically sealed to protect the passengers from attacks, made the drive even more dangerous.

'The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures,' Phillips said in a tweet.

'The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.

'Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential 'drive-by' just now has to be quarantined for 14 days,' Phillips pointed out.

The former president also held multiple large rallies and events, including the announcement of Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court in October 2020, despite restrictions on public gatherings.

More than 150 people attended Barrett's nomination, many of them maskless.

In addition to Trump and first lady Melania; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, Republican Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Mike Lee of Utah, University of Notre Dame President John Jenkins and a White House journalist also contracted COVID.

Christie was later treated in hospital.

It is unclear how many Secret Service staffers, if any, were infected after the event.

Dr Fauci called the event a 'super-spreader'. In an interview with CBS after the event he said: 'Well, I think the data speaks for themselves. We had a superspreader event in the White House and it was in a situation where people were crowded together and were not wearing masks. So the data speak for themselves.'

The Secret Service employs approximately 3,200 special agents, 1,300 Uniformed Division officers, and more than 2,000 other technical, professional and administrative support personnel.

COVID baby bust: 142,000 fewer babies were born in the US in 2020 compared to 2019, CDC report finds

The COVID baby boom that many experts were predicting would come as a result of lockdowns and stay-at-home orders was actually a bust, a new report finds.

In 2020, 3,605,201 babies were born in the U.S. compared to 3,747,540 babies in 2019, representing a 3.79 percent decline, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed on Wednesday.

Additionally, the number of births fell every month last year in comparison with the year before, with the largest drop seen in December.

What's more, declines were seen during the second half of 2020 - six percent from the year prior - in comparison with the first half of the year, which was only down two percent.

The CDC says the drops were the result of continuing declines of fertility rates over the last several years coupled with an unsteady economy, and adults experiencing fear and anxiety over the public health crisis and its uncertain end.

For the report, the CDC looked at birth records processed by the National Center for Health Statistics for 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The number of provisional births that occurred in 2020 were compared with the final counts of 2019.

In addition to the four percent drop in births from 2019 to 2020, researchers found that the number of births declined for each month.

The largest decline was seen in December 2020 when 285,138 babies were born, an eight percent decline from the 308,802 who were born in December 2019.

August 2020 saw the second largest large decline with 319,313 births, meaning there was a seven prevent drop from the 341,685 births in August 2019.

There was a larger decline in the second half of the year, with 1,822,964 infants born between July and December 2020, a six percent drop from the 1,933,043 born the same time last year.

Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, in an article in the US daily Washington Post reiterated Islamabad's clear stance against any US base on Pakistani soil or participation in any other military action related to Afghanistan, saying: "Our country has suffered so much from the wars in Afghanistan. He highlighted that US drone attacks didn’t win the war, but they did create hatred for Americans and led to the development of terrorism.

15,472 Dead 1.5 Million Injured (50% Serious) Reported in European Union’s Database of Adverse Drug Reactions for COVID-19 Shots

The European database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, which also tracks reports of injuries and deaths following the experimental COVID-19 “vaccines.”

A subscriber from Europe recently emailed us and reminded us that this database maintained at EudraVigilance is only for countries in Europe who are part of the European Union (EU), which comprises 27 countries.

The total number of countries in Europe is much higher, almost twice as many, numbering around 50, although there are some differences of opinion as to which countries are technically part of Europe.

So as high as these numbers are, they do NOT reflect all of Europe. The actual number in Europe who are reported dead or injured due to COVID-19 shots would be much higher than what we are reporting here.

The EudraVigilance database reports that through June 19, 2021 there are 15,472 deaths and 1,509,266 injuries reported following injections of four experimental COVID-19 shots:

Garland Favorito Says Georgia Officials Including Raffensperger Concealed Ballot Tampering from Judge – “We Are Discussing What to Do With It”

Garland Favorito is the co-founder of VoterGA, a nonpartisan, non-profit, all-volunteer, dues free organization that has led the election integrity movement in Georgia for 16 years.

In March a Georgia judge ruled that Favorito’s group “Voter GA” would be allowed to unseal the Fulton County Georgia ballots and inspect them for invalid votes.

Then in April Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger petitioned the court to keep the Fulton County ballots sealed.

Favorito at the time accused Raffensperger of being in “cover-up mode” by his recent actions.

But it was evidently worse than we thought. According to an explosive report by Paul Sperry at Real Clear Investigations, Raffensperger defied court orders and tampered with ballot boxes in Fulton County after the judge had issued a protective order over the ballots in January.

On Wednesday The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft spoke with Garland Favorito about this explosive report released on Tuesday.

Garland said he was not surprised with the story reported on Tuesday, “Not at all, we had been aware of this for a long time… Let me clarify, we have been aware that they had claimed that they had done that.” Garland said this must have occurred after they spoke with Susan Voyles on January 7th. Voyles had signed a legal affidavit accusing Fulton County of counting ballots she described as “pristine” that did not appear to be legitimate ballots.

Garland added this on admission by the state officials, “It sounds like they are admitting that they tampered with the ballots in violation of Georgia law.”

Garland Favorito then told The Gateway Pundit that his team is discussing what to do with this latest development, “We are discussing what to do with it.”

Jim Hoft, “So you might take action but you haven’t decided?”

Garland Favorito, “Well we haven’t decided what action should be taken… I would think that the judge would want to know that they concealed this activity from him, when they submitted their amicus brief in our case… That was around the middle of May.”

Jim Hoft: “They hid that from the judge that they tampered with some of the ballots after they were told not to. That sounds like a very big deal to me.”

Fulton County (Atlanta) “We Will Not Count Counterfeit Ballots in Future Elections”: Wait, That’s Their Defense???

In another one of those you can’t make this sh*t up editions from The DC Patriot, the dolts running the defense for Fulton County, Georgia (Atlanta) literally told a judge and the plaintiffs that they’ll be good from now on, just don’t do a re-count in Georgia.

The judge that is presiding over the Fulton County election case was expected to rule on whether or not the inspection of the physical ballots that were cast and counted during the 2020 elections would proceed. Judge Brian Amero’s ruling will decide on if an independent election audit can go forward as planned in Georgia.

During the insanity of the proceedings, the petitioners made their case that the examination of the ballots should proceed as planned to determine if the fraudulent counting of double ballots occurred in the state.

“We are uncertain as to the weight and value of our vote, my clients’ votes, going forward,” the claimants argued. “And that’s what we are trying to address. We are not trying to address the results of the November election.”

“We have asked to see the ballots,” the lawyer continued. “Because we think that’s the best evidence to show that this kind of conduct didn’t occur and won’t occur in the future.”

“But our request for the ballots was actually a discovery request,” he added.

The lawyers then asked the judges to deny the motions of sovereign immunity being claimed by the state to keep the ballots from being subpoenaed for discovery.

What do they have to hide America? If you won an election fair and square, just do the damn audit, right?

The lawyer then asked the Fulton County Election Board’s defense to respond to the claimants and on behalf of the motion to dismiss.

The Fulton County defense attorneys made note that there were open investigations being conducted by the Secretary of State into the allegations of fraud from the claimants, including the issue of machine-generated ballots and multiple tabulation of absentee ballots at State Farm Arena.

The defense claimed that the results of those investigations do not corroborate the claimants’ allegations, but those results have not been made public yet.

The defense then addressed the petitioners’ complaint as represented by the legal team that ‘my clients are uncertain whether their vote is going to count in the future.’

“If you look at his second amended complaint,” the defense noted, “What he asked the court to do is to grant a permanent injunction to enjoin and prohibit the respondents from counting counterfeit ballots in future elections.”

“We agree with that. We will not count counterfeit ballots in future elections,” the Fulton County defense conceded. “Even if we were to assume for the sake of argument that they were right, that they were counted in the past, and we are not admitting that, we agree you can’t count counterfeit ballots. You can’t scan absentee ballots twice. You can’t count somebody’s vote twice.”

The defense then claimed there is no “current controversy” despite the fact they are fighting like hell to not do an audit on an election they supposedly won so convincingly in 2020.

Google’s human resources department earlier this week sanctioned an employee’s use of the phrase "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," the eliminationist call-to-arms frequently employed by anti-Israel activists.

The company's determination came after a Jewish employee raised concerns about the anti-Semitic slogan by a top Google union official on an internal company profile. The company maintains an internal database containing contact information and personal profiles that appear in emails and other internal Google communications.

"The Googler who shared this phrase on his page did so as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian community, which Googlers are permitted to do in the workplace," the human resources employee wrote in an email response to the Jewish employee’s complaint obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. "While the phrase used is understandably divisive, it was not intended to be anti-Semitic in the way the author used it."

It is unclear whether Google’s determination extends beyond the information included on employees’ company profiles. The company did not respond to a request for comment.

A political slogan used by Palestinian nationalists and terrorist groups like the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" describes an aspirational Palestinian state that would extend from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, eliminating the state of Israel.

Google’s determination comes as the tech giant faces outrage and scrutiny from Jewish employees and Jewish organizations for its silence in the wake of a Free Beacon report earlier this month on an anti-Semitic blog post authored by a top member of the Google diversity team. Google reassigned the employee, Kamau Bobb, earlier this month to a role focused on science and technology education rather than diversity strategy but said little else about the matter.

Bobb’s 2007 blog post argued that Jews have an "insatiable appetite for war and killing."

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a global anti-Semitism watchdog group, began an online ad campaign last week slamming Google for its "failure to address anti-Semitism in its workplace."

The ads note the search engine famously fired an engineering employee in 2017 who distributed a memo slamming the company’s gender diversity initiatives, but kept Bobb on at the company.

Google’s response to Bobb’s anti-Semitic remarks and to an increasing number of complaints from Jewish employees has been less vigorous than to other forms of prejudice. Parent company Alphabet on Tuesday shuttered a program aimed at fostering minority engineers after participants said it reinforced "systemic pay inequities," Reuters reported.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, the associate dean for the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said the ads are a "shot across the bow" at Google and other corporations that have been tight-lipped about rising anti-Semitism within their companies and across the country. The group said the ads have received hundreds of thousands of views since the campaign began 10 days ago on Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn.

"Transferring Mr. Bobb to a different role sends a clear message that Google embraces a double standard in which anti-Semitism is less offensive and less worthy of opprobrium than other forms of hate," the organization said in a statement.

Brown County clerk Sandy Juno says private money displaced career election experts, may have violated state law.

The now-retired elections clerk in a key Wisconsin county says political activists working for a group funded by Mark Zuckerberg money seized control of the November elections in Green Bay and other cities, sidelining career experts and making last-minute changes that may have violated state law.

"They had no business doing that," ex-Brown County Clerk Sandy Juno told Just the News, recounting how funding from the Zuckerberg-backed Center for Tech and Civic Life injected chaos and unnecessary changes to how ballots were counted in Green Bay in November.

Juno, a Republican who helped administer her county's elections for 22 years, also called on policymakers to ban future grant money going from rich donors to local election referees because of the potential for corrupt influence.

"We need to be really on top of this, because if this is how elections are going to go, we won't have election integrity," Juno warned.

Juno told Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon on Tuesday night's "Securing our Elections: Protecting Your Vote" special on Real America's Voice that election management in Green Bay was turned on its head last year after a massive infusion of cash from CTCL.

The group poured millions of dollars into multiple key Wisconsin Democratic strongholds in the months leading up to last year's presidential race, ostensibly in an effort to shore up voting systems and infrastructure amid the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic. The organization was ultimately funded with more than a third of a billion dollars by Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan; that money was funneled to additional election funding efforts across the country.

Juno claimed that following the infusion of the CTCL cash into Green Bay "the mayor's office and chief of staff began to take over election functions."

"And that is not something under state statutes they have the authority to do," she said, "because under Wisconsin law, municipal clerks, the county clerk and the Wisconsin Elections Commission are the individuals charged with running elections."

Juno said the COVID-19 pandemic had already thrown the year into chaos prior to CTCL's involvement in Wisconsin's elections.

"As we got closer to the November election," she said, "we found out that this outside group had come in and was basically trying to redo our forms and documents that we use statewide. And these people were from out of state and had no business doing that."

"So they were beginning to get involved with things that they didn't have the expertise," she continued. "They were working primarily with our five major Democratic base cities. So they were breaking the consistency of documents and processes and procedures used statewide."

Central Syrian Insurgency: Army Captured Dozens Of ISIS Terrorists

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured dozens of ISIS terrorists during a combing operation in Syrian central region, RusVesna.SU reported on June 22.

The operation was launched by the SAA in the beginning of June and lasted for more than 20 days. RusVesna released photos showing two of the terrorists who were captured during the operation that was backed by Russian forces.

According to the Russian news outlet, the captured terrorists confessed that their main target was convoys moving supplies and equipment for Syrian and Russian forces.

In the course of the operation, many weapons caches, hideouts and supply points of ISIS cells were uncovered by the SAA. The army also removed landmines and improvised explosive devices which were planted by the terrorists.

The SAA and its allies conduct similar operations against ISIS cells in the central region on a regular basis. On June 21, the army’s 5th Corps, which is directly backed by Russia, launched a large-scale combing operation in eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor. ISIS cells have been very active in these two areas.

All recent operations in central Syria were supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, which continue to hunt down ISIS cells in the region.

In recent weeks, the Department of Justice (DOJ) also notified reporters at three different outlets their records were sought in similar investigations and dropped the gag orders limiting disclosure of the seizure.

Morgan Stanley To Issue Strict Employee Vaccine Policy, Take Away Building Access For Unvaccinated

Morgan Stanley (MS) will require employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before they can return to New York office locations starting in July.

The ban is being enforced for both workers, clients, and visitors in New York City and Westchester County, New York, starting on July 12, CNBC confirmed.

The news outlet said that all Morgan Stanley staff are required to attest to their vaccination in the New York metropolitan area by July 1.

Those workers who are not fully vaccinated will continue working remotely, Morgan Stanley told employees in a memo on Tuesday obtained by Financial Times.

The memo from Chief Human Resources Officer Mandell Crawley read in part, “Starting July 12 all employees, contingent workforce, clients and visitors will be required to attest to being fully vaccinated to access Morgan Stanley buildings in New York City and Westchester.”

Crawley continued in the memo, according to Financial Times, by saying that those that do not attest to being fully vaccinated by July 12 would lose building access, adding that the “overwhelming majority of staff” had already reported getting their COVID shots.

Morgan Stanley previously said that it would only require employees in certain areas of the company to be vaccinated to return to the offices, CNBC said.

Morgan Stanley employees do not need to currently show proof of their vaccination status as the company uses an honor system, according to Financial Times. It was unclear if the bank would change its policy going forward.

Morgan Stanley is not the only financial institution that has implemented a vaccination requirement for staff in its offices.

Back in May, Blackstone told employees within its investment divisions that they could return to company offices full-time on June 7 if they were fully vaccinated against the virus, Bloomberg reported.

Pennsylvania House Passes Election Integrity Bill: ‘The System Does Not Work’

The Pennsylvania state House on Tuesday night approved a Republican-backed election reform bill that would include a requirement that voters present identification, among other measures relating to polls, audits, and procedures.

The bill passed mostly along partisan lines, with most Republicans supporting the measure and nearly all Democrats opposing it. The bill heads to the Senate, which is controlled by Republicans.

Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf has said several times that he will veto any election-related bill. On Tuesday, Wolf wrote on Twitter that he wouldn’t sign the measure, saying, “I will veto this bill if it reaches my desk in its current form.”

In touting the bill, House Republicans said that it’s necessary to restore what they described as integrity to the election process in the commonwealth. Other lawmakers said their constituents had pushed them to vote on the bill.

“We want to ensure elections are fair and the outcomes reflect the will of the people who legally cast their ballots,” said Rep. Ann Flood, a Republican who is a co-sponsor of the legislation, according to WFMZ-TV. “This has been one of the top issues for people I’ve talked with in our district since I took office back in January.”

Others, including Republican House Speaker Bryan Cutler, characterized the bill as one that would restore Pennsylvania voters’ faith in the state’s election systems after a contentious general election last November. Specifically, Cutler argued that the bill’s provisions around audits would be a step “toward ensuring the public’s trust.”

“Somebody wanted to kill us”: Lug nuts allegedly loosened on Pastor Artur's truck

The Pawlowski family has been subject to extensive harassment and even criminal activity in the months since Pastor Artur’s daunting roadside arrest. Beyond the brutal treatment endured by Pastor Artur during his arrest and the time he spent in jail, potentially the most dramatic experiences have come at the hands of fellow citizens. Pastor Artur has repeatedly stated that Premier Jason Kenney, Health Minister Tyler Shandro and the mainstream media, among others, are responsible for stoking the hatred that has led to these acts of violence, and his wife Marzena agrees.

The discrimination commenced with acts of vandalism at Pastor Artur’s church, including nails, garbage, horse manure and dog feces being spread throughout the church parking lot, in addition to an alleged attempted break-in at the church. Soon after, a fire was started at the Pawlowski residence in the middle of the night. One week later, Pastor Artur was shopping with his daughter at a grocery store when he was allegedly assaulted.

Most recently, the Pawlowskis informed us that they suspect that someone loosened the bolts on their truck.

Fortunately, no one was injured, but all of the bolts on one wheel came off at once, very suspiciously. Marzena also relayed that police suspected the tire may also have been slashed. This apparent act of extremely dangerous vandalism occurred one day prior to the March for Jesus in Calgary, and Marzena would have been driving with her children on Sunday had a friend not happened to have taken the vehicle to wash it for her prior to the march.

Pastor Artur has been in the United States on a speaking engagement and so was not at home during this incident. We obtained footage of the Pawlowskis’ encounter with police when they visited the scene to investigate. The officers repeatedly asked what Marzena wanted them to do, which was rather alarming considering the string of targeted attacks against the family. Marzena asked them to do their jobs and open an investigation. The police keep saying, “we are just doing our jobs” when they are arresting pastors — ostensibly this is not the case when the Pawlowskis call.

If even half of these alleged incidents prove to be true, this is targeted discrimination on a level that merits a meaningful response from the authorities. What the Pawlowski family has received in response is relative indifference. Politicians who rightly rushed to Twitter to condemn vandalism at other religious institutions have been utterly silent in their condemnation of outright bigotry and violence directed against the Pawlowski family.

GOP report finds no evidence of Michigan voter fraud, identifies 'severe weaknesses' that should be fixed

Michigan Republicans have released the findings of a monthslong investigation into the state's 2020 election, discovering no evidence that widespread or systemic voter fraud took place and recommending that the state attorney general investigate those who perpetuated false claims about the election for "personal gain."

In a 35-page report authored by Sen. Ed McBroom (R), the state Senate Oversight Committee provided a serious examination of numerous allegations of fraud or other unlawful activity pertaining to the election, concluding that Michigan voters should be confident that the results "represent the true results of the ballots cast by the people of Michigan. President Joe Biden defeated former President Donald Trump by 154,188 votes."

While the report identified several "severe weaknesses" in the state's election system that could undermine confidence in the vote, McBroom wrote "there is no evidence presented at this time to prove either significant acts of fraud or that an organized, wide-scale effort to commit fraudulent activity was perpetrated in order to subvert the will of Michigan voters."

The committee's investigation began Nov. 7 and involved "28 hours of testimony from almost 90 individuals spanning nine committee hearings, the review of thousands of pages of subpoenaed documents from multiple government entities, hundreds of hours of Senate staff investigation, and countless reviews of claims and concerns from Michigan residents."

After reviewing the evidence, Senate investigators concluded most claims of dead people or nonresidents voting were false, found no proof of "fractional voting," no evidence of a late-night "ballot dump" in Detroit, and no credibility to the claims that some Michigan precincts had more than 100% voter turnout.

Additionally, there is no evidence that hundreds of thousands of absentee voter ballots were mailed to Michigan voters without previously being requested. It appears many of the people making such claims confused receiving absentee ballot applications with receiving actual ballots.

Claims based on eyewitness testimony that absentee ballots were counted multiple times turned out to be a misunderstanding of how high-speed tabulation machines operate. When a stack of ballots is fed into the tabulator, sometimes a jam or another error necessitates the entire stack being restarted. When this happens, poll workers must reset the machine by pressing a button to clear the partial count and restart the stack from zero.
