Just a thought from my very limited understanding of blockchains..
If someone wanted to time release information, whether text, images, videos etc in a totally secure way that couldn't be controlled, hacked, deleted, censored by anyone, releasing it on a blockchain would be the way to do it..
The only way it can be deleted is with a key and if that key was only known by a man who 'died' then it's out there forever.
