The point is solid enough but what you leave out is that ALL organizations have this dynamic to some degree or another, whether you're talking political groups, religious sects, corporations, the military, online forums, sports fans, families, sewing circles, or three guys walking into a bar.
It would be interesting to hear how you would frame what is happening in terms of conflict, sides, goals, methods, obstacles, etc. rather than using a generic, universal, psychological principle, to which you then disingenuously ascribe radical leftist provenance.
