Loyal mutiny, to save one’s own life from a mad captain/king/government.
Maybe so, but ‘love of the film’ would be about something superior to pedohell. The story is about good man having to overthrow their mad captain to save their own lives, and be called ‘mutineers’ for it. Americans, who love their country and especially the Constitution which has tried to define it… must overthrow a mad government, and endure being called ‘insurectionist’ by the same mad government.
That’s what i think Trump was probably referring to. Double meanings can exist, but the first one is more universal AND more capable of dealing with the second meaning anyway.
That may be, however the story, and films made from it, predate some pedo-central hell that came after.
Chronology is important.
Well, you may be onto something. However it’s a bit too cryptic for this simple anon. All’s i’s say’n, the story of Fletcher Christian and Capt Bligh is about loyal mutiny… island girls with tits came after the FIRST part of the story.
If Trump was suggesting something OTHER than loyal mutiny from a mad government… i can’t help you with that yet.
Bligh was abusing his men which fueled mutiny.
Important part of the story. Bligh’s exoneration dodged that by his extraordinary survival and ‘delivering’ his loyals to safety.
Yes, i see that too. Fletcher had just as much trouble with and without the captain. But let’s clear up something else… we’ve used two types of reference with the word Loyal vs. loyal.
Capt bligh wanted loyalty to him as if he was the king.
Fletcher was loyal to the health and survival of his COUNTRYmen (their declining character was a complication later in the story)
I suspect Trump’s reference and affinity was much more towards Fletcher, than Bligh, the ship Bounty or what came of Pitcairn years later.
IDK
Is this girl looking for a date or something. I’ll take her out, it’s okay if she doesn’t speak English. She’s over eighteen, right?
I read the book, a book i can’t remember version nor treatment, long before i saw any of the various films. You remind me well of the genuine conflict within the story Bligh had to deal with. Granted, the films bend the truer picture, and i have not read about it in Bligh’s own hand.
One thing it seems we do agree on… it was a very messy business for everyone involved… even the lowly sailors who, understandably, had a affinity for island tits.
Someday, anon, should We survive this business, i think you and i would have a delightful time visiting with Trump and comparing each other’s take on the historic Bounty. Clearly we have differing impressions, and i for one would love blending them back onto a story relatable to more people
.take care.
