People, 60TB is now fewer than ten HDDs. I think 8TB is around $250 right now, and you can put four of them into a bay for another $60. So you can have 64TB at the ready for around $2200. Bought over time, it's not a bad cost.

yeah, being a storage phag is good and all, but i worked in IT for 20 years and saw hardly any HDD failures when using good quality parts. Mirror your shit and you still get 32TB of redundant data.
