Phoenicians came out of modern day Syria, part of the land of Canaan, named after Noah's grandson. There were a number of tribes there, hittites, phillistines etc, named after different descendants of Canaan. It's not accurate to see they're all Phoenicians. The group that moved into Lebanon and sailed and traded around the Medierranean is not every Canaanite.
The people who call themselves jews today have been traced to the Mediterranean. From there they east through Persia and Turkey to Khazaria and joined the Khazarians. etc.
They are Canaanites, through and through.
The people who call themselves Jews today do not reject any of that stuff.
