I wonder if Assad isn't being used as a conduit for communications between Kerry and Pelosi, so "full circle" back to DC but about something they're not allowed to leak between respective silos. Seems Kerry's talking, then Assad's talking, Pelosi listening.
Surely this is all classified information, so if shown to be true to an appropriate standard, the Americans' lives may be appropriately truncated.
