‘Likely Violates Constitutional Due Process Rights’ – Federal Judge Scolds Feds, Blocks Them From Seizing Safe Deposit Boxes

U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner, a George W. Bush appointee issued a temporary retraining order preventing the federal government from seizing safe deposit boxes from four individuals who are seeking the return of their assets until the feds can provide the “specific factual and legal basis” for trying to initiate civil forfeiture.

The judge scolded the feds and said the planned forfeiture likely violates the individuals constitutional due process rights.

U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) preventing the feds from initiating civil forfeiture against four individuals who sought return of their valuables until prosecutors provide the “specific factual and legal basis” for the action.

He gave the government until Tuesday to explain why the judge should not issue a preliminary injunction, which would halt planned forfeitures until the merits of the case were decided — a process that could take months.

It’s a black eye for the feds, who claimed USPV intentionally lured criminal activity and that its customers were an undifferentiated mass of drug dealers and money launderers. The government did not charge any customers with crimes, however, as it seized their belongings.

The backstory:

The feds seized $85 million in cash, precious metals and family heirlooms stored in about 800 safe deposit boxes in Los Angeles.

A class-action lawsuit claimed the FBI “exceeded the search warrant approved by the court” when it raided storage provider, US Private Vaults (USPV) and snooped through the contents of the safe deposit boxes.

USPV was indicted by the feds for conspiracy to sell drugs and launder money, however the owners of the boxes are not accused of committing any crimes.

The search warrant only authorized the FBI to inspect the safe deposit boxes to “identify their owners in order to notify them” about claiming their property.

This is the “most outrageous Fourth Amendment abuse that the Institute for Justice has ever seen,” Frommer, the IJ attorney, said when it announced the case. “It is like the government breaking into every apartment in a building because the landlord was dealing drugs in the lobby.”

Indian Bar Association Sues WHO for Lying About Ivermectin and Killing Indians — Will Fauci and CDC Be Next?

It’s been over a year since the WHO declared the coronavirus a pandemic after originally downplaying the viral threat. It is no secret that both the disease and the response to combat it following this SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in late 2019 have turned our world upside-down. Mandates, lockdowns, and guidelines seem to change every time Dr. Fauci opens his mouth. All of these unprecedented rules were put into place, we were told, to stop the spread of a disease that today is linked to the death of over half a million Americans in just over a year.

You would think that a disease that is a death sentence for the elderly, the obese, those with preexisting conditions, and that has forced children to avoid school, mask up, and get vaccinated would have certainly been faced with ramped-up research into prophylactic and therapeutic solutions since its arrival to the United States.

One would think that after all this time there would be a consensus in the hospitals, in the nursing homes, and in other treatment centers on how to treat a Covid positive patient or resident. This is not the case.

There still is no agreed upon treatment plan for elderly patients who catch coronavirus to assist in their recovery.

And Dr. Fauci and the CDC blocked use of proven treatments, including hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, that could have saved tens of thousands of American lives.

The Indian Bar Association sued the WHO Chief for preventing use of ivermectin that would have saved millions of lives.

Could this happen in America? Are Dr. Fauci and the CDC next?

The Indian Bar Association (IBA) sued WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan on May 25, accusing her in a 71-point brief of causing the deaths of Indian citizens by misleading them about Ivermectin. There is also an updated legal notice on June 13, 2021.

Point 56 states, “That your misleading tweet on May 10, 2021, against the use of Ivermectin had the effect of the State of Tamil Nadu withdrawing Ivermectin from the protocol on May 11, 2021, just a day after the Tamil Nadu government had indicated the same for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.”

If a trial in India finds WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan guilty then the WHO Scientist could be sentenced to death or life in prison. Dr Soumya Swaminathan would have be charged with the threatened criminal prosecution and be found guilty on one of the those charges.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has published new treatment protocols for COVID-19 patients that leaves out the use of ivermectin, which had been included in a previous version. The new protocols describe three categories of COVID-19 patients based on the level of care they need: home-based, primary care and pre-hospital care. It leaves hospital care out. The tests to determine the category to which a patient belongs are oxygen saturation (SpO2) and respiratory rate.

NOT MAKING HEADLINES: CDC Officials Admit More Hospitalizations of Young People from Vaccine than From the Actual COVID Virus – Including HUGE Number of Heart Problems Reported

Earlier this week the CDC admitted to finding more cases of rare heart inflammation in young adults than was expected after receiving COVID vaccine shots.

The Wednesday CDC presentation shows a surge in myocarditis/pericarditis cases in young adults after their second dose of the COVID vaccine.

Former New York Times reporter and author Alex Berenson watched the CDC presentation was shocked with their results and dangerous advice to American parents and their young children.

The CDC’s own voluntary vaccine side effect reporting system received about 48,000 reports for ALL vaccines. This year that number is at least seven times that many for Covid vaccine cases alone.

Berenson then notes that from the CDC’s own data they are seeing more children and young adults hospitalized from the COVID vaccine than they ever saw from the COVID virus.

That is the only possible interpretation of Wednesday’s CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting about the link between Covid shots and serious heart problems in teens and young adults…

At the meeting, CDC scientists presented horrendous data. It showed that even without accounting for underreporting, a second dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines could increase the risk of problems up to 200-fold in young men.

But the scientists then went on to suggest the vaccines should still be given – even to kids already suffering from heart problems…

…the CDC’s own data shows that for every 100,000 vaccines given to young people, more than 25,000 will have temporary side effects that prevent them from “normal activities,” 700 will require medical care and 200 will be hospitalized.

In contrast, the CDC estimates that only about 50 out of 100,000 adolescents have EVER been hospitalized for Covid-related illness.

This is shocking news.

So why are kids being vaccinated again?

Microsoft Confirms New Cyberattack By Group Linked To SolarWinds Hack

Microsoft said on Friday that the hackers behind the notorious SolarWinds cyberattack have launched a fresh campaign mostly focusing on U.S. interests that, while mostly unsuccessful, managed to compromise three entities.

The Russia-based hacking group, which goes by various names including Nobelium, launched the new campaign using “password spray and brute-force attacks,” the Microsoft Security Response Center said in an alert, noting that 36 countries in total had been targeted.

The bulk of the attacks—45 percent—targeted entities within the United States, followed by 10 percent in the UK, and smaller numbers in Germany and Canada. The activity targeted specific customers, Microsoft said, mostly IT companies (57 percent), government agencies (20 percent), followed by smaller percentages for non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and financial services.

“This recent activity was mostly unsuccessful, and the majority of targets were not successfully compromised—we are aware of three compromised entities to date,” Microsoft said.

The company did not specify the entities that were breached or targeted, but said it was contacting all those affected by the cyberattack.

As part of its probe into the new campaign, Microsoft detected information-stealing malware on a computer belonging to one of its customer support agents who had access to account information for a “small number” of customers.

The threat actor, which Microsoft identified as Nobelium, “used this information in some cases to launch highly-targeted attacks as part of their broader campaign.” Microsoft said it “responded quickly, removed the access, and secured the device.”

Tesla Recalls Nearly 300,000 Cars In China On Autopilot Issues

Tesla plans to recall approximately 300,000 China-made and imported Model 3 and Model Y vehicles to address risks associated with its assisted driving software after an investigation by the country's market regulator.

"Vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause the driver to incorrectly activate the active cruise function in the following situations due to the active cruise control system problem: When the vehicle is in D gear, the driver again pulls the right control lever to try to switch gears; When making a sharp turn, the driver accidentally touches and turns the right control lever and waits. After the active cruise control is activated by mistake, if the cruise speed set by the vehicle is not the current speed, and the current speed is lower than the set speed, the vehicle will accelerate to the set speed, and a sudden increase in vehicle speed will occur, which will affect the driver's expectations. It may lead to misjudgment of vehicle control and, in extreme cases, the vehicle may collide, posing safety hazards," the State Administration for Market Regulation wrote in a statement.

The country's regulator said over-the-air programming would allow Tesla to upgrade the defective vehicles remotely to improve cruise control. For vehicles that cannot be fixed remotely, Tesla plans to upgrade the vehicles for free at service locations

UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock resigns after covid-breaching kiss caught on camera

British Health Secretary Matt Hancock has resigned. Hancock was caught on CCTV footage this week kissing an aide, in breach of his own social distancing guidelines and his marital vows.

Hancock announced his resignation on Saturday, apologizing again for breaking social distancing rules, and to his family for “putting them through this.”

“We owe it to people who have sacrificed so much in this pandemic to be honest when we have let them down as I have done by breaching the guidance,” a statement by Hancock read.

Hungary Told To Repeal Law Banning LGBT Promotion To Children "Or Else Leave EU"

EU leadership is now fanatically dictating that Hungary and its 'defiant' prime minister Vickor Orban must bow the knee to the Pride Flag or else "must leave" the European Union.

Quoting Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, The Telegraph describes massive pushback against a new Hungarian law which seeks to prevent the public promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism in front of children and minors:

Mark Rutte, the prime minister of the Netherlands, said Hungary either "must leave" the EU or repeal the law, which bans TV shows and other content seen as championing LGBT lifestyles for the under-18s.

However, some eastern European governments refused to join 17 of the bloc’s 27 countries in a rare joint statement condemning a fellow member state.

Other EU leaders, like European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, have been claiming that the law actively discriminates against LGBT people.

However, defenders of the Hungarian law have pointed out it puts decision-making on presenting these issues to children in the hands of parents and family members. Orban himself, for example, said the law and policy is fundamentally about "defending the rights of the kids and the parents" and is not about discrimination.

Orban said this week at the summit: “Homosexuality was punished, and I fought for their freedom and their rights,” concluding that "I am defending the rights of the homosexual guys. But this law is not about that."

But the EU summit which met this is acting as if it's a declaration of war on human rights, and is vowing to respond accordingly:

Brothers Abscond With $4 Billion In Crypto Stolen From South African Exchange

In a story that will sound familiar to anybody who followed the collapse of Canadian crypto exchange Quadriga, two brothers who ran a South African crypto exchange have absconded with Bitcoin worth $3.6 billion stolen from their clients, demonstrating once again the one glaring security weakness: While hackers are believed to have brought down Mt. Gox, disillusioned insiders with the right kind of access can easily run off with a life-changing amount of wealth. And in many cases, clients who trusted the exchange to safeguard their assets will be left holding the bag.

Africrypt Chief Operating Officer Ameer Cajee, the older of the two brothers, reportedly informed clients back in April that the company had been the victim of a hack, but asked them to keep quiet, claiming that involving the authorities could "slow down the recovery" of the missing funds. However, the crime has since been reported to the Hawks, South Africa's federal police in charge of disrupting organized criminal enterprises. Ameer Cajee started the company with his brother Raees in 2019 and initially it provided "bumper returns" for investors.

But that didn't last long. According to Bloomberg, investigators have apparently determined that the brothers likely absconded with some 69K digital tokens worth approximately $4 billion at the April peak.

Shortly after being informed of the "hack", a group of clients brought in a law firm called Hanekom Attorneys, and a separate group started liquidation proceedings against Africrypt.

"We were immediately suspicious as the announcement implored investors not to take legal action," Hanekom Attorneys said in response to emailed questions. "Africrypt employees lost access to the back-end platforms seven days before the alleged hack."

The law firm's investigation quickly revealed that the coins had been moved from the firm's wallet by somebody who took the care to cover their tracks and make the coins untraceable.

The firm’s investigation found Africrypt’s pooled funds were transferred from its South African accounts and client wallets, and the coins went through tumblers and mixers or to other large pools of bitcoin to make them essentially untraceable.

Bloomberg made several attempts to contact the brothers, but their phone numbers appeared to have been shut off. The law firm involved says it has been unable to locate the brothers.

South Africa’s Finance Sector Conduct Authority is looking into the scam at Africrypt. However, it's currently prohibited from launching a formal investigation because crypto assets are not legally considered financial products, according to the regulator's head of enforcement, Brandon Topham.

This isn't the first time a South African crypto exchange has turned out to be a scam. Last year, South African Bitcoin trading platform Mirror Trading International collapsed, and 23K coins went missing, totaling about $1.2 billion in what was called the biggest crypto scam of 2020, according to Bloomberg.

Crypto prices have been struggling lately thanks to a crackdown on mining by the Chinese government. While incidents like this will undoubtedly alarm regulators, for crypto traders, it's just a reminder of the importance of keeping your coins somewhere safe.

John McAfee tried to kill himself in prison once already, Spanish newspaper claims

A Spanish newspaper has claimed that John McAfee survived a first suicide attempt in prison earlier this year. The antivirus magnate’s actual death in a cell is being treated as suicide, but his family and fans are doubtful.

McAfee was found dead in his prison cell in Barcelona earlier this week, hours after a Spanish court approved his extradition to the US to face charges of tax evasion and other financial crimes. McAfee was reportedly found hanging, and Spain’s Ministry of Justice is treating his death as a suicide.

According to a report in La Vanguardia on Saturday, McAfee tried and failed to kill himself back in February, when he was housed in a different block of the Sant Esteve Sesrovires prison near Barcelona.

Citing “sources familiar with the incident,” La Vanguardia claimed that McAfee’s cellmate alerted guards after the businessman sliced his arms with knives he had concealed inside a book. McAfee was reportedly taken to hospital and treated for his injuries, but a psychiatrist later determined that his wounds were superficial, and didn’t represent a “real desire of the inmate to take his own life.”

McAfee was moved to another block of the prison shortly after the incident, where he died this week.

Citing confidentiality rules, the Ministry of Justice did not reveal any details of McAfee’s alleged suicide attempt in February to La Vanguardia. Likewise, his lawyer in Spain was unaware, as was his widow, Janice McAfee. According to the newspaper, the only reason such details would have been kept a secret would be if McAfee had requested so.

Amazon acquires secure messaging app Wickr used by Pentagon

Encrypted messaging application Wickr has been procured by Amazon for an undisclosed sum. The app, advertised as one of the most secure on the market, has been in use by multiple US government agencies.

The deal was announced by the two companies on Friday, with neither disclosing any figures.

“We are pleased to share that Wickr has been acquired by Amazon and is now part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) team. We’re proud to have created highly trusted, secure communication solutions for messaging, video conferencing, file sharing, and more,” Wickr said in a statement posted on its website.

Founded back in 2012, the company is best known for its free app, allowing users to send encrypted messages, as well as make supposedly secure video and audio calls. The application also boasts an auto-burn feature, with messages getting deleted from user’s devices after a certain period of time. The company claims the mechanism is so secure that said messages “can never be recovered.”

Apart from maintaining the free app, Wickr has also offered paid plans for organizations, government agencies, and specifically for militaries. Among its “customers and partners,” the company lists the US Department of Defense, and Spirit of America, a US military-linked non-profit.

Amazon has said the purchase will not make any difference for Wickr users, with the application now immediately available through the AWS.

“AWS is offering Wickr services effective immediately and Wickr customers, channel, and business partners can continue to use Wickr’s services as they do today,” Amazon said in a statement.

The purchase will, however, probably make a difference for Amazon itself, as the tech behemoth has now entered the secure messaging app game. Moreover, the purchase will likely help the company to get even cozier with Washington, given that US government agencies already use its freshly procured application.

Joe Rogan attacks cancel culture, slams Biden's leadership: 'Everybody knows he's out of his mind'

Joe Rogan questioned the leadership and cognitive abilities of President Joe Biden. During a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, the standup comedian and UFC commentator also railed against cancel culture and calls the current time period "one of the most tumultuous periods in the history of the country."

Rogan welcomed fellow comedian Iliza Shlesinger on his hugely successful Spotify podcast this week. Rogan and Shlesinger were discussing the formative eras of the United States in history, and the podcast host brought up the decade of the 2020s, "In the future, they're gonna be saying it's one of the most tumultuous periods in the history of the country."

"I think people are going to be talking about all the changes happening right here, right now in the future," Rogan added.

Shlesinger pointed out how cancel culture shaped our current times.

"We'll look back and it will be scary," Shlesinger declared. "Everybody was afraid of getting canceled, people were eating each other, nobody was listening to science."

Shlesinger continued, "Even as it's happening I'm like, 'We're coming across as f***ing idiots, like animals.'"

"If you look at, like, cancel culture, I don't even think people want an apology in some cases," Shlesinger noted. "They just want to see someone burn. It's like medieval times. It's like the Middle Ages. It's a dark period."

Rogan hypothesized why cancel culture is such a dominant aspect of our society right now.

Dozens of Cops Blow Whistle on Quota System that Forced them to Arrest Blacks and Latinos

Dozens of current and former NYPD officers have come forward and backed a lawsuit against the NYPD that claims officers were forced to participate in an off-the-books quota system that prioritized the arrests of Blacks and Latinos. The officers coming forward have solidified the views of many who allege the entire system is racist.

The original lawsuit was filed by NYPD Lt. Edwin Raymond and 11 other officers back in 2015. Since then, more than two dozen other former and current officers have come forward, backing up the claims in the lawsuit which states officers were punished for not meeting their arrest quotas.

One cop, who is a plaintiff in the long-running lawsuit claimed a supervisor would ask him “Are you going to take someone’s freedom today?”

“If plaintiffs prevail in their suit, the CCRB would investigate arrests/summons made by officers under the supervision of the relevant commanders, as part of our new Charter mandate to investigate racial profiling and other forms of bias based policing,” the Civilian Complaint Review Board tweeted.

In new affidavits, set to be filed in Manhattan Federal Court, cops claimed they faced retaliation for not arresting enough people of color and say that white officers allegedly did not face the arrest expectations.

“On one occasion in the 40th Precinct a white supervisor asked an African-American police officer, ‘Are you going to take someone’s freedom today?’” Officer Charles Spruill, who retired in 2014, says in his affidavit. “The African-American police officer had no choice but to say, ‘OK, boss.’”

According to a report in the NY Daily News, taken together, the affidavits illustrate how the chance for lucrative overtime shifts has been used to induce cops to go along with commanders’ demands. They also show how performance monitoring — a program ostensibly to help cops get better at the job — has allegedly been used to punish officers who don’t meet arrest quotas.

“The NYPD has a lot of internal names for the arrest quota, but they all mean the same thing. That officers are supposed to bring in a certain amount of arrests and issue a certain number of summonses per month,” Officer Shawn Smalls, who retired in 2011, says in one of the new affidavits.

“The NYPD calls this arrest quota in the internal lingo of the police department many things. These code names include, but are not limited to, productivity indicators, goals, activity, expectations, condition, and/or performance goals.”

Naturally, the NYPD is denying all the claims, calling them “baseless.”

18 children dead after fire at Chinese martial arts school

At least 18 children are dead after a fire broke out Friday at a Chinese martial arts school in central Henan Province.

The dead — ages seven through 16 — had all been students who boarded at the school, according to the state run news agency Xinhua.

The cause of the inferno remains a mystery and authorities in China are currently investigating. Disastrous fires are commonplace in the country where slipshod safety protocols and spotty enforcement are the norm, the Guardian reported.

The local county Communist party secretary was sacked along with three other officials according to state media. Lou Yangsheng, Henan’s provincial Communist party boss — the highest official in the region — called the blaze a “profound lesson.”

Henan is considered the birthplace of the historic Chinese martial arts and is also home to the famous Shaolin Temple where Kung Fu is said to have been first developed.

Friday on FNC’s “Hannity,” former ICE Director Tom Homan, now a Fox News contributor, slammed the Biden administration on the heels of Vice President Kamala Harris’ trip to El Paso.

Homan told fill-in host Jesse Watters that Harris should have “been embarrassed” by the circumstances at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“[I] might hear you mention Kamala Harris at El Paso border today,” he said. “What a shame. She should have been embarrassed. She’s going to go down there and see the men and women who she called Nazis. She’s going to see the men and women she said run concentration camps. She claimed the Border Patrol treated these illegal immigrants with zero compassion and humanity. And one thing she didn’t do while she was down there, why don’t you talk to the men and women wearing their green uniform, ask them, does the wall work? And they would have said, yes, it does work. It stops drugs. It stops illegal immigration. Why did you stop building it?”

“And she would have said, why we had a crisis?” Homan continued. “They would have told her, because of your policies, your open border policies. We had success. President Trump dropped immigration by 80 percent. How many children didn’t die across that river? How many women didn’t get raped coming across that border? How many children didn’t dive over fentanyl overdoses? How many millions did the cartels not make when President Trump had declining immigration?

“This president has failed the American people,” he added. “We have the first president in the history of this nation that’s actively facilitating illegal immigration across border crime, and it disgusts me.”

Brian Kemp, Brad Raffensperger Blast DOJ Lawsuit Against Georgia Election Integrity Law

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger pushed back quickly on Friday to the Department of Justice announcement earlier in the day that it had filed a lawsuit against the State of Georgia, Secretary of State Raffensperger, and the Georgia State Election Board in federal district court alleging the intended purpose of the state’s Election Integrity Act of 2021 is to disenfranchise black voters, a violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

“This lawsuit is born out of the lies and misinformation the Biden administration has pushed against Georgia’s Election Integrity Act from the start,” Kemp said in a statement released on Friday:

Joe Biden, Stacey Abrams, and their allies tried to force an unconstitutional elections power grab through Congress – and failed. Now, they are weaponizing the U.S. Department of Justice to carry out their far-left agenda that undermines election integrity and empowers federal government overreach in our democracy. As Secretary of State, I fought the Obama Justice Department twice to protect the security of our elections – and won. I look forward to going three for three to ensure it’s easy to vote and hard to cheat in Georgia.

“The Biden Administration continues to do the bidding of Stacey Abrams and spreads more lies about Georgia’s election law. Their lies already cost Georgia $100 million and got the President awarded with four Pinocchios. It is no surprise that they would operationalize their lies with the full force of the federal government. I look forward to meeting them, and beating them, in court,” Raffensperger said in a separate statement.

Greg Jarret, legal analyst for Fox News, said the DOJ’s 46-page complaint is long on historical rhetoric and short on supporting empirical evidence. Consequently, they argue, the Biden administration’s chances of winning the case are a longshot.

The key premise of the DOJ lawsuit is that the intent of the Georgia law is to discriminate against black voters.

“The right of all eligible citizens to vote is the central pillar of our democracy, the right from which all other rights ultimately flow. This lawsuit is the first step of many we are taking to ensure that all eligible voters can cast a vote; that all lawful votes are counted; and that every voter has access to accurate information,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement released by the DOJ on Friday:

“The right to vote is one of the most central rights in our democracy and protecting the right to vote for all Americans is at the core of the Civil Rights Division’s mission,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke for Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “The Department of Justice will use all the tools it has available to ensure that each eligible citizen can register, cast a ballot, and have that ballot counted free from racial discrimination. Laws adopted with a racially motivated purpose, like Georgia Senate Bill 202, simply have no place in democracy today.”

“One of the fundamental rights of our democracy is the right to vote. That right should be protected for every citizen of our district, regardless of race,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Kurt R. Erskine for the Northern District of Georgia. “The United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia is committed to protecting the rights of all Americans to vote.”

UK’s Largest People Trafficking Gang Shipped in Hundreds of Polish Migrants, Enslaved Them

Three members of a people trafficking ring that shipped hundreds of Polish migrants to the UK and forced them into slavery have been convicted.

On Friday, Coventry Crown Court found Polish nationals Mateus Natkowski, Lukasz Wywrinski, and British co-conspirator David Handy guilty of offences ranging from trafficking, labour exploitation, and forced labour for their part in operating what the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) described as “the largest human trafficking ring ever exposed in the UK”.

The court heard how the three men had lured hundreds of Polish citizens — who until the UK left the EU officially on January 1st, could have arrived visa-free under Brussels’ Free Movement rules — to the West Midlands with the promise of well-paying jobs and accommodation, according to the Birmingham Mail.

However, the reality was any but what was promised, with the economic migrants forced to live in squalor and to work long hours while receiving little of their wages, at times being physically assaulted.

In one case highlighted in court and by the publication, one Polish man was offered a £350-£450 a week job, including accommodation, in the West Midlands in February 2015.

Wywrinski and Natkowski took the migrant on his arrival to the UK to a two-bedroom house, where 11 people lived, and there was no heat, hot water, or cooking facilities.

The man was not allowed to leave the house without being supervised by Natkowski, 29. While he had opened bank accounts in the UK, he had never received his cards — thus could not access his own wages — and was given just £10 for working 12- to 13-hour days for three weeks. Wywrinski, 39, had also beaten him.

For his part, Handy, 54, was revealed to be the front of the “legitimate employer”, providing work for those trapped by his gang in slave-like conditions.

The court found Handy guilty of one count of conspiracy to require others to undertake forced or compulsory labour, conspiracy to control another for the purpose of labour exploitation, two counts of cheating the public revenue, and conspiracy to acquire criminal property.

Natkowski was found guilty of three trafficking offences, and Wywrinski had already pleaded guilty to 11 trafficking offences in May.

Paul McAnulty from the charity Hope for Justice said: “Human traffickers profit from misery and desperation, exploiting vulnerabilities in good people… Employers, retailers, labour providers, landlords, banks, consumers, all of us owe a duty of care – we must all shine a light on the abhorrent crime of modern slavery.”

All three men will be sentenced at a later date.

EU Agrees to Billions More Euros for Turkey for Migrants, After Years of Erdogan Threatening to Open Borders

The European Union has agreed to send at least €3 billion (£2.5 billion/$3.6 billion) over the next few years to Turkey for Syrian migrants and to help support border security.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel made the announcement of the extra infusion of cash to Turkey during a European Union member state leader meeting in Brussels on Friday.

“It’s about additional funds of 3 billion euros, then afterwards also funds for Lebanon and Jordan,” the German chancellor said and added that the plan would “soon be formally endorsed”, Greek newspaper I Kathimerini reports.

The new cash is an extension of the EU-Turkey migrant deal, which was signed in 2016 and promised Turkey billions of euros in exchange for stopping the large flows of migrants that led to the 2015 migrant crisis.

Engineer who surveyed Champlain Towers for six months wasn't asked to look at its foundations, condo board lawyer reveals - as first survivor files a $5million lawsuit over building collapse

The engineer who studied Champlain Towers for six months before recommending changes for recertification did not study its foundation or look beneath the building, a lawyer for the condo board association told.

Frank Morabito was hired by the condo association to review the building and give them a list of updates needed for its 40-year recertification. He was not asked to look at the building foundations or ground beneath it because it's not part of the general recertification requirements.

'It's not standard operating procedure to include excavating under the foundation,' Donna DiMaggio Berger, an attorney for the condo board told on Friday.

Asked whether there was any mention of the foundation in the report, she replied: 'I don't believe so.'

Morabito presented his report to the board and at the top of the list of recommendations was fixing the roof before hurricane season.

He recommended concrete work and other structural and electrical changes but it's unclear what those were exactly. The ground beneath the building is what she says she had been told was likely the problem.

'I've reached out to a few engineers, and it would appear that this is a subsurface failure,' she said.

White House: Afghanistan Is ‘Not a Winnable War’

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met with Biden in Washington

Ahead of talks between President Biden and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday said Afghanistan is “not a winnable war” in response to hawks calling for the troop drawdown to be reversed.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) met with Ghani and other Afghan leaders on Thursday. In a statement on the meeting, McConnell called for a “reversal” of President Biden’s withdrawal.

When asked about McConnell’s comments, Psaki said, “The President made a decision — which is consistent with his view that this was not a winnable war — to bring the US troops home after 20 years of fighting this war.”

Later on Friday, Biden met with Ghani and vowed continued support for the Afghan government. “The partnership between Afghanistan and the United States is not ending,” Biden said. “Our troops may be leaving, but support for Afghanistan is not ending.”

President Biden earmarked $3.3 billion in his request for the 2022 Pentagon budget for the Afghan military, a $300 million increase from this year. NATO will also continue funding the Afghan military, and is looking to train Afghan soldiers outside of the country.

While Biden and Psaki say the US is leaving Afghanistan, a US official told The Associated Press on Thursday that Washington wants to leave about 650 troops to guard the US embassy in Kabul. The troops could also support Turkish forces that are expected to stay to secure the Kabul airport.

The issue with Biden’s post-withdrawal plans is that the Taliban are against them, and it could put US troops at risk of being attacked. On Friday, a Taliban spokesman said the group would view a continued US presence after Biden’s September 11th withdrawal deadline as a violation of the Doha agreement.

Biden Administration Warns Allies Against Restoring Ties With Syria’s Assad

A US official said countries that do business with the Syrian government would be targeted by US sanctions

After supporting efforts to oust him, some of Washington’s Gulf allies have accepted that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is here to stay and are working on restoring ties with Damascus. On Friday, a US official warned US allies against getting friendly with Assad and threatened sanctions.

Joey Hood, the acting assistant secretary of state for Near East affairs, said the US does “not intend to normalize” relations with Assad unless there is a “major change in behavior.” He said others that are “considering making moves” should think “very carefully” about it.

Hood’s comments come amid reports that Syria and Saudi Arabia are working towards normalizing relations. The UAE has already restored ties with Assad and reopened its embassy in Syria in 2018.

Hood brought up the Caesar Act, which enables the US to impose sanctions on anyone who is doing business with the Syrian government, and suggested Washington’s Arab allies could be targeted.

“And I would also, of course, add that we also have the Caesar Act sanctions. This is a law that has wide bipartisan support in the Congress, and the administration is going to follow the law on that. And so governments and businesses need to be careful that their proposed or envisioned transactions don’t expose them to potential sanctions from the United States under that act,” he said.

US sanctions under the Caesar Act purposely target Syria’s construction and energy sectors, preventing the country from rebuilding after 10 years of war. The crushing sanctions have had a devastating impact on Syria’s civilian population, and the Biden administration seems determined to keep them in place.

NATO Openly Identifies Russia as Target of Impending Black Sea War Games

NATO’s military arm, Supreme Headquarters Allied Command Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium (marking its 70th anniversary this year), issued a press release on the Sea Breeze war games that will begin in the Black Sea on June 28. Coming as they do immediately on the heels on what may have proven a dangerous contretemps between a British guided-missile destroyer and a Russian border vessel and attack aircraft off the coast of Crimea, this year’s Sea Breeze, the 25th iteration, is fraught with more significance and will be monitored more closely on the Russian side than its predecessors.

The NATO fact sheet repeats what has been disclosed by the co-sponsor of the exercise, the U.S. Navy Sixth Fleet, and other sources:

– That over 30 (32 by one count) nations will participate in the event, more than in any previous version

– That those nations are situated on all six populated continents

– That 5,000 troops, 32 ships, 40 aircraft and 18 special operations and diving units will be involved

The Ukrainian navy is the co-host of the exercise; only three months after its current and first president were openly claiming there was a danger of world war as a result of Russian military maneuvers – in Russia.

The NATO release of June 25 contains a paragraph that could not be more transparent in disclosing the geopolitical context within which the upcoming war games are to be conducted:

“Since Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014, NATO has increased its presence in the Black Sea. NATO supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, extending to its territorial waters. NATO does not and will not recognize Russia’s illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and denounces its temporary occupation.”

After the encounter between HMS Defender and a Russian Sukhoi Su-24 earlier this week, the Russian government appealed to the U.S., Ukraine and NATO to postpone if not cancel this year’s Sea Breeze. It appears that plea has fallen on deaf ears.

‘Dragon man’ skull reveals new branch of family tree more closely related to modern humans than Neanderthals

The discovery of a huge fossilised skull that was wrapped up and hidden in a Chinese well nearly 90 years ago has forced scientists to rewrite the story of human evolution.

Analysis of the remains has revealed a new branch of the human family tree that points to a previously unknown sister group more closely related to modern humans than the Neanderthals.

The extraordinary fossil has been named a new human species, Homo longi or “Dragon man”, by Chinese researchers, although other experts are more cautious about the designation.

“I think this is one of the most important finds of the past 50 years,” said Prof Chris Stringer, research leader at the Natural History Museum in London, who worked on the project. “It’s a wonderfully preserved fossil.”

The skull appears to have a remarkable backstory. According to the researchers, it was originally found in 1933 by Chinese labourers building a bridge over the Songhua River in Harbin, in China’s northernmost province, Heilongjiang, during the Japanese occupation. To keep the skull from falling into Japanese hands it was wrapped and hidden in an abandoned well, resurfacing only in 2018 after the man who hid it told his grandson about it shortly before he died.

The Trump Organization is expected to be hit with criminal charges next week by crooked Manhattan DA Cy Vance’s office.

The case is tied to tax-related conduct amid claims Trump Organization employees illegally ‘received tax-free perks such as apartments and car leases.’ according to NBC News.

These types of cases are almost never pursued, but the witch hunt of Trump and everyone connected to him never ends.

“It looks like they are going to come down with charges against the company, and that is completely outrageous,” Ron Fischetti, an attorney for the Trumps, said after the development was first reported by The New York Times.

“I’ve been practicing for over 50 years, and I’ve never seen a case like this.”

Fischetti said that “the corporate office will plead not guilty and we will make an immediate motion to dismiss the case against the corporation.”

Also potentially facing charges is the company’s longtime CFO, Allen Weisselberg, The Times reported.

“They could not get Allen Weisselberg to cooperate and tell them what they wanted to hear, and that’s why they are going forward with these charges,” Fischetti said. “They could not get him to cooperate because he would not say that Donald Trump had knowledge or any information that he may have been not deducting properly the use of cars or an apartment.”

NBC News first reported this year in an interview with Jennifer Weisselberg, Allen Weisselberg’s former daughter-in-law, that the Manhattan DA was probing schemes where Trump employees including the Weisselbergs were able to avoid paying taxes in exchange for benefits such as an apartment.

Fischetti said company lawyers met with Vance’s office on Thursday and tried to persuade the Manhattan DA’s office not to go forward.

NBC News confirmed this week that investigators had also been probing Matthew Calamari, the former Trump bodyguard who’s now the company’s chief operating officer. The Wall Street Journal, which first reported on the focus on Calamari, cited people close to the matter who said Calamari was being investigated over whether he received tax-free fringe benefits from the company.

The mechanism for the delivery of UN cross-border aid to Syria from Bab Al-Hawa Border Crossing on the Turkish border expires on 11 July.

Dr. Fauci 'caught lying' to Congress after book exposes details of Wuhan lab-linked grant, lawmaker says

The grant was given to a nonprofit that previously worked with the Wuhan lab some experts have linked to the origins of COVID-19

Lawmakers are reacting to reports that Dr. Anthony Fauci initially resisted a Trump-era order to cancel a controversial research grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in April 2020.

Fauci, who leads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, initially resisted a White House directive to cancel the NIH grant to EcoHealth Alliance — a nonprofit conducting research on coronaviruses that had previously worked with the Wuhan lab some experts fingered as the origin of COVID-19 . He later "reluctantly agreed" after learning then-President Trump was directly behind the order, according to an upcoming book by Washington Post reporters Yasmeen Abutaleb and Damian Paletta.

In the book titled, "Nightmare Scenario: Inside the Trump Administration's Response to the Pandemic That Changed History," Abutaleb and Paletta provide a behind-the-scenes account of how Fauci and his colleagues at the National Institutes of Health responded to the White House’s directive.

In June of 2020, however, Fauci said the grant, worth a remaining $370,000, was "canceled because the NIH was told to cancel it," and he didn't "know the reason" behind the White House's order during a House Energy and Commerce hearing after Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, asked why the Trump administration cut off NIH funding for EcoHealth.

Lawmakers on the House Energy and Commerce Committee are now reacting to the book excerpt in comparison to Fauci's June 2020 comments before Congress and are repeating calls for an investigation into the virus's origins and Fauci's firing.

Fauci did not immediately respond to inquiries from Fox News.

"Dr. Fauci is so obsessed with maintaining his own relevance and downplaying President Trump’s role in combatting this crisis that he’s once again been caught lying," Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., told Fox News. "We need someone leading the pandemic response and our investigation into its origins who is more concerned with the truth than their own PR campaign. It’s time for Dr. Fauci to go."

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., said "there are many unanswered questions that can only be answered with a full investigation by Congress."

This is especially the case when it comes to strategic infrastructure. This includes airports, roads, rail networks, desalination plants, pumping and power stations and also ports in Israel. US tensions with China are growing on numerous fronts, from disputes at sea in Asia, China’s anger over US relations with Taiwan as well as disputes over the origins of the pandemic and the handling of the COVID-19 crisis.

President Joe Biden is keen to continue the Trump-era legacy of pressure on the People’s Republic, but Beijing won’t sit back and accept this behavior. That means that the Middle East and Israel will be in the middle of a tug-of-war between Beijing and Washington.

This week it was reported that Israel has taken a new stance against allegations of China’s treatment and forced incarceration of its Uyghur minority, signing on to a condemnation issued at the United Nations Human Rights Council’s 47th session on Tuesday. Backed by Canada, Israel chose to join at Washington’s behest. Israel and the US vote together on other UN issues, such as those relating to Cuba.

The policy shift is important because China is a huge and important trade partner for Israel, and Jerusalem has increasingly developed its ties with the Middle Kingdom in recent years.

However, Beijing was also harshly critical of Israel’s recent war with Hamas, and China and Iran are growing closer. This means that the Jewish state could be put in the middle of more American-Sino tensions. The recent vote marked a shift in how Jerusalem views Beijing diplomatically. The decision to sign the statement was taken by Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, in coordination with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, according to the Post.

Back in 2019, Washington increased pressure on Jerusalem regarding what many viewed as Israel trying to have it both ways: be both a key ally of the US, but also sell assets to China that might concern the US.

Rudy Giuliani this week leveled sharp criticism at the decision by the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court to suspend his law license in that state, claiming that America "is no longer America anymore."

In the wake of the January 6th Capitol event, the FBI used Google location data to pwn attendants with nothing more than a valid Gmail address and smartphone login:

A stark reminder that carrying a tracking device with a Google login, even with the SIM card removed, can mean the difference between freedom and an orange jump suit in the Great Reset era.

But Google also operates its own internal intelligence agency – complete with foreign regime change operations that are now being applied domestically.

And they’ve been doing so without repercussion for over a decade.

From Google Ideas to Google Regime Change

In 2010, Google CEO Eric Schmidt created Google Ideas. In typical Silicon Valley newspeak, Ideas was marketed as a “think/do tank to research issues at the intersection of technology and geopolitics.“

Astute readers know this “think/do” formula well – entities like the Council on Foreign Relations or World Economic Forum draft policy papers (think) and three-letter agencies carry them out (do).

And again, in typical Silicon Valley fashion, Google wanted to streamline this process – bring everything in-house and remake the world in their own image.

To head up Google Ideas, Schmidt tapped a man named Jared Cohen.

He couldn’t have selected a better goon for the job – as a card-carrying member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Rhodes Scholar, Cohen is a textbook Globalist spook. The State Department doubtlessly approved of his sordid credentials, as both Condoleeza Rice and Hillary Clinton enrolled Cohen to knock over foreign governments they disapproved of.

Google Ideas’ role in the 2014 Ukraine regime change operation is well-documented. And before that, their part in overthrowing Mubarak in Egypt was unveiled by way of the Stratfor leaks.

More recently, the role of Google Ideas in the attempted overthrow of Assad in Syria went public thanks to the oft-cited Hillary Clinton email leaks:

Club Moves, Pence and Haley Coordinating With Establishment GOP

The one issue that frustrates me personally; amid the known deep weeds and moves of the RNC as a club and their vitriolic hatred for the Tea Party before and MAGA movement now; is why President Trump continues to express confidence in Ronna McDaniel.

Yes, there is always going to be intra-party factions within the Republican system as a whole. However, the (at best) 10 to 20% of the club establishment, the Wall Street Multinational faction, are toxic to the objectives of restorative Americanism. The club elites, and this includes current RNC head Ronna McDaniel, simply hate the vulgarian middle-class and the base of the movement. Yet, for some unknown reason Donald Trump allows this to continue.

McDaniel is working against the interests of the MAGA base. The head of the RNC does nothing to highlight demonstrable election fraud; she stands aside and watches as media frame an extremist narrative against the base of the party she is supposed to represent. McDaniel does nothing to support the legal alliance needed to push back against election fraud; and worse yet she does nothing to support the recruitment of MAGA minded candidates to lead the middle-class working revolution against the corrupt political system. Yet, amid these brutally obvious realities no-one ever seems to call it out.

Where is McDaniel in support of the Maricopa audit: or the Fulton County Georgia legal battle; or the Pennsylvania legislative effort to strengthen their legislative reform efforts? Or closer to home, where was/is McDaniel when clear evidence of voting corruption exists in her home state of Michigan and Antrim County? No-one except CTH ever seems to point out the total absence of the RNC support in these grassroot efforts to have secure and authentic elections. WHY?

But this article really isn’t about McDaniel insofar as she is merely a representative -albeit stark- example of the brutally obvious issues within the false premise of the two party system…. the two club system. CTH readers have an exhaustive library of specific facts, events, documents and statements that show how the club is operating against our interests; the example above is just a reminder to pause amid the granular fight and say “what a minute, where’s the damn RNC, ain’t this their job?”

Here’s the rub. The RNC club has a visible set of priorities and an invisible set of standards that apply only to the top donor class, the BlackRock Republicans within the party, and they work intentionally and willfully to keep those standards and priorities clouded from the electoral base. The RNC actively works against our interests, and yet so many within the MAGA community cannot see it, even though they feel it… they know it to be true, but they cannot accept it.

Let me give you and example of how the “club” is quietly operating using Mike Pence and Nikki Haley as an example and a warning.

You might remember a few months ago when former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley said:

Polish Prime Minister to Lapid: 'Poland Won't Pay a Single Zloty, Euro or Dollar for German Crimes'

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Friday harshly criticized Foreign Minister Yair Lapid's statements against a new law in Poland, which is expected to restrict the possibility of restitution claims for property stolen from Jews by the Nazis. Lapid called the law "immoral," and claimed that it would strain relations between the two countries.

Morawiecki said at a press conference: "I can only say that as long as I am the prime minister, Poland will certainly not pay for German crimes. Not a single zloty, euro or dollar."

His remarks came after Poland's Foreign Minister issued a statement noting that "Poland is by no means responsible for the Holocaust, an atrocity committed by the German occupier." He added that in addition to "Polish citizens of Jewish origin," millions of "citizens of the Second Polish Republic" were murdered as well.

In a vote Thursday, the Polish parliament overwhelmingly voted in favor of an amendment to the country's property restitution regulations. Under the new law, outstanding claims for the restitution of property seized during the Holocaust that have not reached a final decision in the last 30 years will be halted or dismissed. In addition, new appeals of administrative decisions made over 30 years ago will also be forbidden.

The Israeli government has now confirmed that 50% of those fully vaccinated (2 shots) in the course of the last month have tested Covid positive. What this suggests is that Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine is not only conducive to deaths and injuries, it has resulted in an increase in Covid positive cases.

Moreover, reports confirm that those vaccinated have contributed to the spread of the virus to those who have not received the mRNA vaccine.

Skero also noted the increased risk due to the heightened summer temperatures in the South.

"They are found hiding in many dangerous storage areas to avoid detection, putting their lives at risk," he said. "With the increase in temperatures during the summer months, this mode of transportation could turn deadly."
