The Biden administration is reportedly considering lifting sanctions against Iran’s Supreme Leader as part of a concessions package to restore a landmark 2015 Iranian nuclear development agreement, reports NBC News.

Sources told the news organization that Biden administration negotiators are in “indirect” talks in Vienna, Austria, with Iranian negotiators to lift the 2019 “broad sanctions” against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as part of a compromise to re-enter the Obama era deal.

Known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the deal, implemented in October 2015, was supposed to prevent Iran from using nuclear material for weapons.

However, Iran says it will not go through numerous negotiations.

Iran will not negotiate endlessly over the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, a top official said here, while also urging the US to abandon the “failed legacy” of former President Donald Trump.

The remarks were made on Saturday for Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh in a tweet, reports Xinhua news agency.

Iran has actively participated in the Vienna talks aimed at the revival of the nuclear agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which the US tried to “destroy”, Khatibzadeh added.

Biden Signs Executive Order that Mandates Race Training at Every Level and Lectures on ‘White Privilege’ and ‘Male Privilege’

The US Government has practiced race preference hiring for decades but that’s not enough.

Joe Biden signed an executive order on Friday that mandates training that teaches federal employees that the US is racist and unredeemable. The order also pushes “equity” and urges federal departments to get away from merit in government performance.

This is pure Marxism and promotes hatred and divisiveness.

President Joe Biden signed an executive order on Friday that ensures that every part of the federal government will conduct race-conscious diversity training and engage in race-conscious hiring.

The executive order “establishes an ambitious, whole-of-government initiative that will take a systematic approach to embedding DEIA [diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility] in Federal hiring and employment practices,” according to a White House fact sheet. In practice, it will ensure that federal agencies employ tenets associated with Critical Race Theory (CRT) within their hiring practices and day-to-day activities.

CRT holds that America is fundamentally racist, yet it teaches people to view every social interaction and person in terms of race. Its adherents pursue “antiracism” through the end of merit, objective truth and the adoption of race-based policies.

Notably, the order requires diversity trainings like the one conducted by Sandia National Laboratories, a government contractor that helps manage nuclear weapons. During a three-day “White Men’s Caucus,” male employees were required to recite “white privilege” and “male privilege” statements, according to leaked documents reported on by Manhattan Institute fellow Christopher Rufo. Trainers at the caucus told the participants that “white supremacists,” “KKK,” “Aryan Nation,” “MAGA hat,” “privileged” and “mass killings” were all associated with “white male culture.”

BBC’s Andrew Marr says he caught Covid-19 AFTER vaccine

BBC journalist Andrew Marr says he caught a “nasty” bout of Covid-19 despite being fully vaccinated. Government advisers say this is normal, and similar cases are cropping up around the world.

Speaking on his Sunday programme after a week off, Marr told viewers that “he had a bit of Covid last week, despite being double jabbed, and very nasty it was too.” Marr described his symptoms like those of a “summer cold,” and asked guest Professor Peter Horby, a government adviser on the coronavirus, whether he was “just unlucky” to catch the virus after being fully vaccinated.

“I think you were,” Horby replied. Vaccines, he said, “are actually remarkably effective at preventing hospitalisations and deaths. They are less effective at preventing infection.”

Marr is 61 years old and was vaccinated earlier this spring. He suggested on Sunday that he may have caught the virus while covering the G7 summit in Cornwall earlier this month.

Marr’s case is one of many around the world in which fully vaccinated people have managed to catch the virus regardless. Two American guests aboard a “fully vaccinated” cruise ship made headlines when they tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month, and a study back in April found that among fully vaccinated US workers, around 1% still got infected. Altogether in the US, more than 4,100 people have been hospitalised or died after catching Covid-19 post-vaccination, according to data released last week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). No comparable data from the UK is readily available, but the country has one of the world’s highest rates of vaccination, and has seen new cases tick steadily upwards since the beginning of summer.

"They're Everywhere" - Megadrought Sparks Grasshopper Plague In Western US

By now, it's become quite evident that the western half of the U.S. is facing one of the worst megadroughts in decades. We've spoken about fallow land and drying up reservoirs, but the question remains what happens next?

Well, it's not great, and it's straight out of the playbook from the 1930s Great Depression when the same parts of the U.S. were transformed into a desert, triggering a grasshopper plague.

A.P. News said federal agriculture officials are set to launch one of the largest grasshopper-killing campaigns in three decades amid an outbreak. The insects belong to the suborder Caelifera family and are probably the most ancient living group of chewing herbivorous insects. These creatures survive and multiply rapidly in drought or very dry conditions and will decimate crops.

Before we dive further into the grasshopper plague, the latest data from the U.S. Drought Monitor shows much of the western half of the U.S. is in some form of drought. Some places are more severe than others - but many of these lands produce an immense amount of farm goods.

So back to insect plague where A.P. spoke with a resident Frank Wiederrick of central Montana's Phillips County, who said grasshoppers are springing up on his ranch.

"They're everywhere," Wiederrick said. "Drought and grasshoppers go together and they are cleaning us out."

If extreme drought conditions continue in parts of the U.S., harvests this year could be severely impacted.

The United States Department of Agriculture has published a map of the grasshoppers spreading across arid regions of the western half of the U.S.

Agriculture officials had seen this year's infestation coming after a 2020 survey found dense concentrations of adult grasshoppers across about 55,000 square miles (141 ,000 square kilometers) in the West. A 2021 grasshopper "hazard map" shows densities of at least 15 insects per square yard (meter) in large areas of Montana, Wyoming, and Oregon and portions of Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, and Nebraska. -A.P.

Air force station rocked by blasts in suspected drone attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir

Two “low intensity” explosions have rocked an Indian Air Force station in Jammu, causing minor damage to its buildings. Armed drones were apparently used in the attack, according to an early assessment of the incident.

The overnight strike was confirmed by the Indian Air Force early on Sunday. The military said the attack did not inflict any damage to any sensitive hardware stationed at the supposedly high-security installation.

“Two low intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area,” the military said.

The attack itself occurred overnight, with two consecutive blasts rocking the air station early in the morning. Imagery circulating online purports to show the damage at the site, with a hole in the roof of one building and its interior battered with shrapnel.

According to local media reports, police have already detained two suspects, whose identities or motives have not been disclosed. Two servicemen sustained minor injuries during the attack, but did not require hospitalization.

An early assessment of the incident indicates the attack was performed using small drones, armed with improvised explosive devices. The drones are believed to have been operated from a site in the immediate vicinity of the military installation.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh said that a first information report (FIR) had been registered and an investigation is ongoing. He added that “use of drones with payload” is suspected in relation to both blasts.

The Muslim-majority Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir has been a constant source of trouble for the Indian government for decades, with various separatist militants waging low-intensity warfare against New Delhi’s rule.

The Indian-controlled territory is part of the larger historical region of Kashmir, which is contested by the country with its neighbor and arch-enemy Pakistan. The territorial dispute has resulted in multiple armed conflicts between the two nations since they gained independence from the British Empire. The most recent major escalation between Pakistan and India occurred back in early 2019, prompted by a bloody terrorist attack on India’s paramilitary police by a Pakistani-based militant group.

Veteran pop sensation Elton John has received accolades on social media after issuing a searing critique of the British government’s handling of Brexit and other policy issues.

The famed musician told the Guardian in an interview that he was “livid” over the UK government’s inability to secure a deal with Brussels that would have made post-Brexit travel easier for British musicians touring Europe.

“They made no provision for the entertainment business, and not just for musicians, actors and film directors, but for the crews, the dancers, the people who earn a living by going to Europe,” he said, adding that attempts to lobby politicians about the issue have yet to produce results.

John noted that while he and other big stars are able to hire people to “fill in the forms and get visas done,” for many musicians starting off in the industry, the red tape poses a formidable barrier. He expressed exasperation over the fact that while the government seemed preoccupied with protecting the British fishing sector – which brings in £1.4 billion ($1.9 billion) each year – the £111-billion ($154 billion) entertainment industry was left out to dry.

“I’m all for the fishermen, but we’re talking about more than a hundred billion pounds of difference here, and we weren’t even thought about! ‘Oh well, the arts: they don’t matter,’” he fumed.

When pressed to explain why he thought the problem wasn’t getting more attention, John quipped: “The government are philistines. We’ve got used to governments – especially the British government – just telling us lies every day, and I don’t feel OK with that.”

He went on to grill the UK government over “what it did with the NHS,” arguing that it was a travesty that medical workers only received a 1% salary increase during the coronavirus crisis.

“It makes me so angry. I’m 74 years of age and I just don’t get this unfairness and this ridiculous ability to lie through your teeth every f**king minute of the day,” he vented.

4,115 Vaccinated People Have Died, Been Hospitalized With COVID-19 ‘Breakthrough’ Infections: CDC

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that more than 4,000 people have been hospitalized or died from COVID-19 “breakthrough” cases.

The agency, in an update late last week, said that 4,115 people have been hospitalized or have died from COVID-19 despite having been fully vaccinated.

The total number of individuals who have died from COVID-19 after being vaccinated is 750, according to the agency. It noted that 76 percent of hospitalizations and deaths from breakthrough cases occurred among individuals over the age of 65.

“As of June 21, 2021, more than 150 million people in the United States had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” said the agency in its June 25 update. “During the same time, CDC received reports from 47 U.S. states and territories of 4,115 patients with COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough infection who were hospitalized or died.”

Federal health officials downplayed the new data and said they had anticipated breakthrough cases, illnesses, and deaths.

“To be expected,” Dr. Paul Offit, a top advisor to the Food and Drug Administration on children’s vaccines, told CNBC on June 25. “The vaccines aren’t 100% effective, even against severe disease. Very small percentage of the 600,000 deaths.”

The CDC on May 1 announced that it had stopped counting all breakthrough cases and only reports on those that lead to hospitalization or death.

COVID-19 is the illness caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, otherwise known as the coronavirus.

It comes as Israeli officials last week said that during a recent outbreak of COVID-19, about half of the adults infected in the recent outbreak were fully vaccinated.

Ran Balicer, who leads an expert advisory panel for the Israeli government, in announcing the finding on June 25, said that the country might end up in lockdown again. Balicer and other officials said that 90 percent of the new cases were called by the so-called “Delta” COVID-19 variant.

“The entrance of the delta variant has changed the transition dynamics,” he told The Wall Street Journal.

Also last week, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported that nearly 4,000 people who were fully vaccinated have tested positive for the virus.

“We’re learning that many of the breakthrough infections are asymptomatic or they’re very mild and brief in duration,” said Boston University infectious diseases specialist Davidson Hamer, local media reported. “The viral load is not very high.”

And Hamer—like Offit—also downplayed the breakthrough infections, saying they’re to be expected.

“Breakthroughs are expected, and we need to better understand who’s at risk and whether people who have a breakthrough can transmit the virus to others,” Hamer was quoted by local media as saying. “In some cases, they’ll be shedding such low levels of the virus and won’t be transmitting to others.”

Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger has reportedly died at the age of 55.

The performer passed away on Saturday, about a month after he told fans that he’d been diagnosed with liver failure, according to reports.

Skid Row’s official Instagram page posted a tribute to the rocker on Saturday that read, “We are saddened to hear the news of our brother Johnny Solinger. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.”

The message continued, “Godspeed Singo. Say hello to Scrappy for us,” making a nod to Solinger’s late grandfather, Willard Jesse “Scrappy” Smith, the namesake for his solo album “Scrappy Smith,” according to Newsweek.

The Instagram post was signed “much love” from members Rachel Bolan, ZP Theart, Snake Sabo, Rob Hammersmith and Scotti Hill.

Bolan wrote in a separate Instagram tribute, “RIP Singo. Get yourself a piece of pie with Scrappy.”

Solinger joined the popular band in 1999 as a replacement for Sebastian Bach. He said farewell to the group in 2015 and was replaced by Tony Harnell.

Solinger is on several Skid Row albums, including the “Thickskin,” “Revolutions per Minute,” “United World Rebellion” and “Rise Of The Damnation Army,” according to TMZ.

The musician was reportedly married to actress Paula Marcenaro, who shared a heartfelt quote, attributed to Elisabeth Kübler-Ross and David Kessler, following Solinger’s passing.

“The reality is that you will grieve forever,” Marcenaro posted on her Instagram Story, quoting the passage. “You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it.

The NCAA handed the Vanderbilt University baseball team a College World Series semi-final victory and national championship berth after sidelining their opponents from North Carolina State over the league’s apparent COVID-19 protocols. The NCAA’s highly controversial decision comes just one month after the architect of the nation’s COVID-19 response, Dr. Anthony Fauci, gave the commencement address at Vanderbilt’s 2021 graduation ceremony and was honored with the school’s Nichols-Chancellor’s Medal, awarded to those who “define the 21st century.”

The NCAA’s middle-of-the-night announcement that it had handed Vanderbilt a national championship berth came just hours after the team had escaped elimination, narrowly defeating an NC State Wolfpack already down half a roster due to COVID-related “issues” and forcing another game to be played Saturday for the right to advance to the championship round.

Though it has been reported that NC State players had tested positive or been exposed to COVID, the NCAA has not elaborated on what the COVID-related issues cited in forcing NC State to play short-staffed and ultimately forfeit are, reportedly due to medical privacy laws and guidelines. Much of the decision-making process seems to have been shrouded in secrecy, with even NC State’s players and coaches being kept in the dark by the NCAA and health officials.

“I have no idea what’s going on. Zero,” NC State Head Coach Elliot Avent said following Friday night’s game, just hours before the team was forced to forfeit Saturday’s matchup. “It just hasn’t been communicated,” Avent explained.

According to the NCAA, the decision to sideline NC State was made in conjunction with the Douglas County, Nebraska Health Department, whose jurisdiction includes Omaha, the home of the College World Series. Douglas County is one of just two Nebraska counties to have reportedly been carried by Joe Biden in the 2020 Presidential Election and the City of Omaha, its county seat, has enforced some of the most Orwellian COVID-19 restrictions in the state.

The 26-year-old Walzl was arrested in September.

She was slapped with five counts of fourth-degree sex offense of a student.

11-year-old girl reportedly becomes UK’s youngest mom to give birth

An 11-year-old girl has delivered a baby — and now is believed to be the youngest-ever mom to give birth in the United Kingdom, a report said Sunday.

The child, who was 10 years old when she became pregnant, gave birth earlier this month when she was more than 30 weeks along, The Sun reported.

“This is the youngest mother I’ve heard of,” doctor Carol Cooper told the outlet.

“Weight affects many hormones. Because children are heavier, puberty is happening earlier these days,” she added.

The pregnancy stunned the girl’s family, who were not aware that she was expecting, the outlet reported.

“It has come as a big shock,” source who knows the family told the outlet.

“She’s now being surrounded by expert help. The main thing is that she and the baby are OK.”

Social services and police are now investigating, the outlet reported.

“There are questions around why people did not know. That is very worrying,” the source told The Sun.

A Republican House Intelligence Committee investigation has found China’s malign influence deepening across corporate America, including in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, agriculture, entertainment, media, finance, sports, and technology sectors, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) revealed Sunday.

The investigation is still ongoing, but Nunes — who announced the investigation on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo — said it has reached some preliminary conclusions.

The investigation has determined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) — via its control over Chinese business firms — is manipulating and coercing U.S. businesses into sharing key technologies with China and helping Beijing acquire sensitive intellectual property, which benefits China-based firms at the expense of U.S. industry.

And it found China employs a wide range of initiatives to influence and shape events and public opinion to undermine U.S. national and economic security.

“American business writ large is entangled in this effort, wittingly and unwittingly,” according to a background paper on the investigation obtained by Breitbart News.

The CCP under President Xi Jinping has made no secret that it wants China to become the world’s dominant economic and military power by 2049.

In order to do that, the CCP has embarked on ambitious plans to acquire certain technologies key to that plan. For example, its Made in China 2025 plan outlines its goals to dominate certain critical technologies by 2025, and its current five-year plan focuses on scientific technological innovation and making advancements in the health, education, and financial services sectors.

The GOP-led investigation found CCP members serving as board members and senior executives in U.S. firms are advancing China’s goals to acquire technology and penetrate U.S. markets, and are prompting U.S. business to alter initiatives and strategies due to concerns of Chinese opposition.

Protest Outside ‘Springsteen on Broadway’ Slams Aging Rocker for Vaccine Mandate, ‘Segregation’

Bruce Springsteen’s Broadway show, Springsteen On Broadway, faced an organized protest when it re-opened in the Big Apple this weekend as fans revealed their disgust that producers banned the unvaccinated from attending.

A group of demonstrators held up signs reading “Bruce Springsteen is for segregation on Broadway”; “We demand Equal Rights”; “Vaccine Mandates violate Bodily Autonomy”; and “My Body My Choice,” according to Fox News.

When the show re-opened after going on hiatus over the coronavirus, audience members were faced with a new requirement. To enter the St. James Theater, fans are now required to present proof that they have been fully vaccinated for the coronavirus.

The protest remained peaceful, even though demonstrators exchanged some occasional words with the fans waiting in line.

The venue had already made one change to its vaccination policy after fans complained. Initially, the theater had announced that only fans who had taken one of the FDA-approved vaccinations would be allowed into the theater. That would have meant that only people who had taken a Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson jab would have been permitted to see the show.

However, the theater backtracked when many fans complained, allowing those who had taken the AstraZeneca vaccine to enter, as well.

The theater also enacted certain exceptions. People under 16, fans with disabilities that prevent them from taking vaccines, and people with “sincerely held” religious beliefs would not be held to the vaccination requirements. However, these fans would still have to show proof of a negative test and would have to wear a mask in the audience.

Springsteen band member Stevie Van Zandt told fans on Twitter that the policy came about because of all the regulations and government mandates they have to navigate.

“Many of you have asked. Here’s the answer. There were many complications to overcome. Regulations- national, state, city, theater, etc-changing constantly. Happy ending for the fans,” he tweeted on June 20.

European Parliament Votes to Make EU Climate Neutral by 2050

The European Parliament has formally set a goal to make the entire European Union carbon neutral by 2050.

Members of the European Parliament passed the Climate Act on Thursday in a vote of 442 for, 203 against, and 51 abstentions. The Act also increased the EU’s goal to reduce carbon emissions from 44 per cent of 1990 levels to 55 per cent by 2030.

Swedish Social Democrat MEP Jytte Guteland said, according to SVT: “It’s a real boost compared to today’s level. I see that it will only play a bigger and bigger role for Europe and the world.”

Swedish MEP Emma Wiesner, a member of the Centre Party, said that she was concerned that the package did not go far enough.

“I expect an unprecedented climate package. The only thing I worry about is that it will not be ambitious enough, but the goals are a good starting point,” she said.

According to SVT, the European Commission presented a draft of the climate law last spring and set a binding target of becoming climate neutral by 2050. Initially, the European Parliament wanted to decrease emissions by 60 per cent compared to 1990 levels by 2030 but settled for 55 per cent.

Conservative and populist MEPs were largely against the proposal, with Polish Law and Justice (PiS) MEP Anna Zalewska stating: “The adopted document is disappointing. There is no money for it currently. Without proper financing, it will not be possible to achieve a just transformation.”

“The climate law has orders and bans and will not only result in new taxes, but also in an increase in the cost of everyday life,” Ms Zalewska added.

Sweden, the home of noted climate change activist Greta Thunberg, is one of the countries in the European Union that has pushed most for reducing emissions and has considered banning the sale of new cars that use fossil fuels by the end of the decade.

Despite Sweden’s push to combat climate change, Swedes in 2019 voted climate change spending as the biggest waste of taxpayer money.

“Growing Up Biden” is set to be published by Celadon Books on April 12, the Associated Press reported.

According to the AP, Washington, D.C.-based literary agency Javelin represented Owens. The AP noted that Javelin has worked with other big names, including former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and former FBI Director James Comey.

​In it, Owens, 75, writes about her childhood ​as the only girl among the Biden siblings and her “trailblazing, decades-long professional relationship” with​ the president.

According to an Amazon pre-order page, the

memoir will include her memories of growing up in Delaware, helping raise Biden’s sons after his first wife and his daughter were killed in a car crash and her role in his political campaigns.

​Biden’s sister managed her brother’s 1972 US Senate run in Delaware and his unsuccessful presidential campaigns in 1988 and 2008.

She was a top adviser to his recent presidential run. ​​

The 75-year-old Owens has been working with her older brother for virtually his entire career, dating back to high school in Delaware. She managed his winning 1972 run for the U.S. Senate and his unsuccessful presidential attempts in 1988 and 2008 and was a top advisor for his election to

the White House in 2020. She also has been closely involved with his own family, quitting her job as a teacher and moving in with him for four years so she could care for his two sons after he lost his first wife and 13-month old daughter in a 1972 car accident.

“Valerie Biden was the cornerstone that allowed me to sustain and then rebuild my family,” the president wrote in his 2007 book, “Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics.”

Financial terms were undisclosed, the report noted. Owens was represented by Javelin, the Washington, D.C.-based literary agency where other clients have included former FBI Director James Comey, former National Security Adviser John Bolton and former House Speaker John Boehner.

Celadon Books in 2017 released Joe Biden’s “Promise Me, Dad,” about his son Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer in 2015.
