i have purchased freeze dried food from augason farms

the last time i looked prices were higher and selection was worse for all brands

2 or 3 years ago i was paying about $1000 a year to insure my pickup against its loss and at the end of the year i had nothing

i thought that maybe i should have bought $1000 worth of freeze dried food i would be insured somewhat against either a lack of food or higher priced food for 15-30 years

and if nothing happened i could just eat the food

its also nice to know that you could have some meals in 20 years for $3 each anyway

that alone might return better than a 401k
