As the saying goes, anons are under attack.
People are nervous because tensions are high everywhere. At this point, it would not surprise me if Jim/Volunteers have disabled trips unilaterally to prevent further Q posts - because what would happen if Q decided to post a call to literal war?
Whether we think something like that is likely, or not, is irrelevant to the fact that we do not know exactly who Q is or what their goal is. We know what they say and we know what we see/hear. Or think we do, at least.
So, likewise, anyone playing at being spoopy is going to be seen as trying to subvert the group.
It doesn't help that there is a near-religion here among some, and doing much more than being a news aggregate or arguing over two pixels of a compressed image is seen as blasphemy.
Then there is also what I warned of a few years ago - the attempt by groups to set up identities. Identities are key to fracturing a community. You get an identity art the front the crowd and habe them do something controversial - splif the oarty.
