The event which took place was due to an anon who decided to split the bake.

If baking protocols are followed then none of that would happen.

If BV would lock and delete the thread which doesn't follow continuity of breads then all of those types of issues would fade away.

It is because the allowance of SPLIT BAKE that these problem arise.

Allowing a SPLIT BAKE is similar to allowing for ANARCHY and if we are to have rules, then they should most definitely be followed.

For are we an expression of ANARCHY (SPLIT BAKE) or an expression of LAW AND ORDER (BAKING PROTOCOLS)?

If BV follows the simple rules of locked and deleting the threads which do not follow continuity of breads and baker protocols the load on both anons and BV alike would greatly diminish.

By simply checking through the breads for the baker hand off and what protocols took place, there is no side to take in the fight, but that of LAW AND ORDER.

Whom ever is following the continuity of breads and baker's protocol.

We have a system, it simply needs to be enforced.

How does that pertain to anything that I had previously stated?

There should not be SPLIT BAKES, anons who step up to become baker for a period of time, should ALWAYS FOLLOW BAKING PROTOCOLS.

This makes the job of both anons and BV alike significantly easier as there is no bias or side to take in the fight other than who is FOLLOWING THE BAKING PROTOCOLS of hand off and continuity of breads.

The protocols for baking are quite simple, if you need a break request a hand off. If within a reasonable amount of time no one takes hand off you may ghost protocol and let the anons know that you are leaving in CLEAR RED TEXT or SOME OTHER METHOD that STANDS OUTS.

If you are requesting a HAND OFF, do similarly and MAKE IT CLEAR AND STAND OUT.

If you wish to bake, you may ask the baker if they NEED A HAND OFF or you may ACCEPT A HAND OFF when baker REQUESTS A HAND OFF.

If the kitchen is in GHOST PROTOCOL or the KITCHEN IS OPEN, you may ACCEPT HAND OFF without baker CONFIRMING the HAND OFF.

Is this simple and clear?

The Baker duties are to collect notables and repost, and retitle the thread.

Updating the dough is a matter of updated the pastebin or in our case the controlc.com.

I understand your sentiment, but in regards to baking protocols, it should be quite simple and clear that hand off procedure is the simplest method to remedy split bakes and multi bakes.

To follow the continuity of breads makes it a great deal easier on the community at large.
