Oh duh. Just making connections. It has been suggested that the ancient skulls unearthed, which have the tops of their heads cut off and sewn back, or holes in the cranium are evidence of ancient capability to do brain surgery, and knowledge of the brain in order to do it.

But now it would appear that holes in the skull would allow them to eat brains from a living person while still a live, and the removal of the cap, and putting it back were evidence of eating a brain and not killing them right away, but saving them to eat again later.

Don't know if it is true, but now it seems like a possibility.
