Trump was the perfect president to roll this out under. It's shocking that so many don't see it.
I've never had a more polarizing president in my lifetime. Regardless of what you think of his policy you have to admit he split the country pretty damn well.
Also, ratings obsessed. Never before had we all been tuned into news media for such a long time. People talking about Trump everywhere you go. Love or hate him.
Enter covid. Now he's on TV everyday arguing with scientists who are wrong about a lot of things. We get to see him start the debate on live TV.
We are already split between Trumpers/antiTrumpers so we are predestined to pick a side accordingly. We've been arguing ever since.
Sprinkle in protests on both sides attacking the opposing sides ideals and you get current state America.
