Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced this past weekend that there are still 500 election fraud cases that still need to be heard in court.

This comes as Governor Greg Abbott promised a new election integrity bill in the state as well as bail reform.

Texas Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton has announced that more than 500 election fraud cases are currently waiting to be heard in court. Over the weekend, Paxton relayed on Twitter that his team will prosecute every instance of voter fraud.

This comes after he shared information about a woman being arrested for multiple counts of election fraud in a 2018 local election. Monica Mendez was convicted on seven counts of illegal voting, eight counts of unlawfully assisting a voter, eight counts of unlawful possession of ballots and eight counts of election fraud.

In response to the case, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said his team plans to pursue laws for more secure elections.

Paxton has been a staunch defender of election integrity.

And last week Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that the election fraud unit made an arrest related to multiple counts of election fraud.

But thousands of lesson plans designed to instill students with a gender-fluid, racist, anti-American ideology are available for review at TeachersPayTeachers.com, a site allowing teachers to sell and share educational programs.

According to the Teachers Pay Teachers website, TpT “is the go-to place for over 85% of U.S. educators to find teacher-created, teacher-tested classroom resources” and “has grown to reach over 5 million educators.”

The site contains 5,552 lesson plans to nurture students on the tenets of Black Lives Matter, 3,712 on critical race, 166 on white privilege, and dozens of gender equity lesson plans.

A 2-week lesson plan available on TpT, titled “Social Justice and Racial Equity Unit in Kindergarten,” implores young learners in pre-K to first grade to become race-conscious, mindful of different skin tones by examining.

“With your partner, who has lighter skin and whose is darker?” students are asked in the 10-day unit.

Gender equity is incorporated in the racial equity unit for kindergarteners in a lesson called “Pink Is For Boys- Lesson on Gender Equality.” The lesson asks students to create pictures of objects that have different colors “to focus on color and gender equality.”

Another lesson plan designed to teach gender equity to young students, “Transgender Education Social Story” provides “a base knowledge of what being transgender means” and “different ways a person’s gender identity could be expressed”

A social studies unit called “Social Justice Activities: Racism, Stereotypes, Privilege, Black Lives Matter” created to teach racial and gender equity to middle schoolers and highschoolers contains 11 books including “What is a Microaggression,” “What is Toxic Masculinity?” and “Understanding Privilege.”

Caitlin Johnstone: The US again bombs nations on the other side of the world in the name of ‘self-defense’

Once again, the US is illegally bombing countries that it has previously invaded and occupied, and yet is branding this murderous aggression as “defensive.”

“At President Biden’s direction, US military forces earlier this evening conducted defensive precision airstrikes against facilities used by Iran-backed militia groups in the Iraq-Syria border region,” reads a statement by Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby.

“The targets were selected because these facilities are utilized by Iran-backed militias that are engaged in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks against US personnel and facilities in Iraq. Specifically, the US strikes targeted operational and weapons storage facilities at two locations in Syria and one location in Iraq, both of which lie close to the border between those countries,” he continued.

Even more absurd than the fact that we’re all still pretending this clearly dementia-addled president is “directing” anything is the claim that these actions were “defensive” in nature. It is not possible for occupying invaders to be acting defensively in the nations they are occupying and invading. US troops are only in Iraq by way of an illegal 2003 invasion, a bogus 2014 re-entry, and a refusal to leave at the Iraqi government’s request last year, and they are in Syria illegally and without the permission of the Syrian government. They can therefore only ever be aggressors; they cannot be acting defensively.

It’s as if you broke into your neighbor’s house to rob him, killed him when he tried to stop you, and then claimed self-defense because you consider his home your property. Only in the American exceptionalist alternate universe is this considered normal and acceptable.

The only actual defensive action that the US could legitimately take to protect troops in Iraq and Syria would be to remove US troops from Iraq and Syria.

As former US representative Justin Amash pointed out following the bombing, there is no legal authorization for US troops to be in Iraq or Syria in the first place. And as journalist Glenn Greenwald highlighted, there is also no legal basis for bombing the military personnel in those nations either, no matter how “Iranian-backed” they are.

“I know it’s boring to note this, but Biden has no legal authorization to bomb ‘Iranian-backed’ targets in Syria and Iraq, making it illegal,” Greenwald tweeted, adding, “But Obama bombed Libya after the House voted against doing so, and few of the Sacred Rule Of Law mavens cared.”

The legal justification the Biden administration is using for this airstrike is the same bogus one it used for its airstrikes in Syria this past February: not counter-terrorism, but an extremely weird and broad interpretation of Article II of the US Constitution.

“As a matter of international law, the United States acted pursuant to its right of self-defense,” Kirby writes in the aforementioned statement. “The strikes were both necessary to address the threat and appropriately limited in scope. As a matter of domestic law, the president took this action pursuant to his Article II authority to protect US personnel in Iraq.”

"Just Another Summer Weekend Of Mayhem": 77 Shot In Chicago As Understaffed PD Braces For July 4th

Even after for months running Chicago has typically seen many consecutive weekends with some 40 shootings every Saturday and Sunday, this weekend's numbers have reached truly staggering new heights, with at least 77 people shot by Sunday night, including five killed.

Local Chicago news has noted further that seven of the surviving victims are minors of 17-years old or younger. From Saturday night, news of shootings came in so rapidly that police and reporters struggled to keep a tally, with Chicago PD citing 55 wounded across the city by Sunday evening.

But after two more "mass shootings" into Sunday night, by Monday morning CBS News channel 2 reported "At least 77 people had been shot this weekend in Chicago as of Sunday night, and five of them had been killed."

The first killing occurred Friday night or into the early hours of Saturday, as police discovered a man with a fatal gunshot wound lying on a sidewalk at 4:36am Saturday.

The vast majority of the crimes remain unsolved with few suspects in custody, according to reports.

The first of what police dubbed a mass shooting occurred Sunday night, detailed as follows:

Late Sunday night, the Fire Department said eight people were struck, one fatally, in a mass shooting at 63rd Street and Artesian Avenue in Chicago Lawn.

The shooting happened at 10:53 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Artesian Avenue, police said. The Fire Department called an EMS Plan 2 for the shooting, sending 10 ambulances to the scene.

One woman died of her wounds while other victims ranging in age from 21 to 57-years old were wounded.

Also Sunday night, a mass shooting on 71st Street near Clyde Avenue in South Shore left a woman dead and five others wounded. Police said at 8:44 p.m., a woman and four men were all standing outside when a black sport-utility vehicle passed by and someone inside shot them all.

The woman was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead there after being shot six times.

Polish Catholic Church seeing ‘persistently quite high’ number of sexual abuse allegations, official says

Religious authorities in Poland have warned that the country’s Catholic Church is facing a “wave” of allegations of sexual abuse against children and young people, and subsequent cover-ups by members of the clergy.

Speaking at a news conference on Monday, Adam Zak, who serves as the coordinator for the protection of young people at the Conference of the Polish Episcopate, said the Church was facing a “wave of revelations.”

You can see that this is not a downward trend, but there are persistently quite high figures.

The allegations raise concerns about the Catholic Church and its treatment of young people in Poland, as well as its handling of reports of pedophilia and abuse.

The investigation, conducted between July 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020, examined 368 reports of sexual abuse against minors, and found that 144 were credible, while 186 required further investigation. Only 38 were dismissed.

The most senior bishop of the Catholic Church in Poland, Wojciech Polak, apologized to “those who have been wronged and scandalized by the evil in the Church,” and asked for “forgiveness once again” from victims of clerical abuse.

This is the second such investigation in recent years to raise alarm, with a report released in 2019 showing that, between January 1990 and June 2018, 382 cases of alleged sexual abuse had been reported to the authorities.

The statement from the religious figures comes amid a Vatican investigation into the actions of Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, following accusations of a cover-up within the Polish Catholic Church. Dziwisz, who served as Archbishop of Krakow from 2005 to 2016, has been the subject of a complaint that alleged he covered up sexual abuse by clergymen in the diocese of Bielsko-Zywiec. The Vatican sent Angelo Bagnasco, former Archbishop of Genoa, to Poland earlier in June to investigate the allegations.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Says It Won't Help Terminally-Ill Kids Unless Their Entire Family Is Vaccinated

The Make-a-Wish Foundation says it won’t help terminally ill children unless the child and their entire family has taken the COVID-19 vaccine, prompting actor Rob Schneider to end his relationship with the charity.

Yes, really.

Make-a-Wish president and CEO Richard Davis made the announcement in a video released last week, stating, “All wish participants, including your wish kid and any siblings, will need to be two weeks past completion of either a one-dose or a two-dose vaccine.”

“This is literally a new low for humanity,” remarked the Twitter user who posted the video.

“Terminally ill children will not be granted a wish.. from the make a wish foundation… unless.. you guessed it.. they’re fully vaccinated.”

A two-tier form of discrimination which treats the unvaccinated as second class citizens is already underway in the form of vaccine passports, but to deny critically ill children support because they haven’t taken the jab is particularly cruel.

For one, many of the sick children may have medical conditions that prevent them from safely taking the vaccine.

In addition, according to official CDC guidelines, children under the age of 12 aren’t supposed to take the shot. The World Health Organization has also said “the Pfizer/BionTech vaccine is suitable for use by people aged 12 years and above.”

So Davis’ claim that the organization had consulted with “doctors and medical professionals throughout the National Medical Advisory Council” doesn’t even make sense.

Responding to the decision, actor Rob Schneider said he would permanently end his relationship with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

“Make-a-Wish will only grant wishes to terminally ill children who are fully vaccinated?!” While it has been an honor to work with this foundation over the years, if this policy of discrimination of children is true? I will never work with them again. Ever,” tweeted Schneider.

New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern hammered for pushing hate speech law… that even she doesn’t understand

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has been accused of “misleading the public” in a disastrous radio interview defending a proposed hate speech law, which could see offenders jailed for three years for offensive words.

Under proposed legislative changes unveiled last week, hate speech could become a criminal offense in New Zealand. Anyone who “intentionally stirs up, maintains or normalizes hatred against a protected group” by being “threatening, abusive or insulting, including by inciting violence” would break the law, and hence could face up to three years’ imprisonment or a fine of up to NZ$50,000 (US$35,182).

The list of “protected groups” has yet to be drawn up, but Justice Minister Kris Faafoi said last week that “political opinion” would be protected. Religion too will be included, a given considering the new law was proposed in the wake of the Christchurch mosque shooting in 2019.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is under fire for apparently “misleading the public” on the severity of the new law. In a TV interview on Monday, Ardern claimed that the proposed law was “not about lowering the threshold,” even though “normalizing hatred” is a lower bar than ‘incitement to violence’ prohibited by the current law.

Ardern contradicted Faafoi’s claim that political opinion would be protected, and said that the proposed law was only drafted after the Royal Commission of Enquiry into the Christchurch shooting called for religion to be considered a protected group. Neither are true: political opinion is explicitly labeled in a government document explaining the new law, and Ardern is on record calling for expanded hate speech laws before the Royal Commission’s report was released last year.

Her performance drew heavy criticism. “Ardern does not understand the extent of what is proposed, as was evident by her comments on the AM show today,” journalist Audrey Young wrote on Monday. “She needs to get a better handle on the proposals in order to credibly argue for them.”

“If the person making the law can’t work it out, what hope do the police, courts or poor old citizens who just want to follow it have?” David Seymour, leader of the center-right ACT party, said in a radio interview after Ardern’s TV appearance.

Top Chinese Nuclear Expert Jumps To His Death

On June 14, China's Taishan Nuclear Power Plant near Hong Kong experienced damaged fuel rods that triggered a build-up of radioactive gases. French company Framatome, a part-owner of the plant, requested the US Department of Energy for assistance as an "imminent radiological threat" seemed inevitable.

Radioactive gasses were released, and US officials at the time said the situation at the nuclear plant did not "pose a severe safety threat to workers at the plant or Chinese public." But three days later, Zhang Zhijian, one of China's top nuclear scientists and the Vice-President of Harbin Engineering University, allegedly committed suicide after jumping off a build.

South China Morning Post (SCMP) said police in the capital of Heilongjiang ruled out homicide as the cause of death.

"Harbin Engineering University announces with deep grief that Professor Zhang Zhijian regrettably fell off a building and died at 9.34 am on June 17, 2021," the university's official account on Weibo wrote in a statement. "The university expresses deep sorrow over the passing of comrade Zhang Zhijian and deep condolences to his family."

Zhang was a professor at the College of Nuclear Science and Technology at the Harbin Engineering University and was also the Vice President of the Chinese Nuclear Society.

In China's northern Heilongjiang province, Harbin Technical University is one of two Chinese universities that have close relations with the People's Liberation Army. Last June, the university was banned from using a US-developed computer software amid souring relations with the West.

What's notable is that western media or most media outlets did not attempt to piece together the puzzle that days after a nuclear power plant mishap occurred, a top scientist in the country allegedly committed suicide. Seems odd right?

Except for the blog "Jennifer's World," which explains the possible connection between Zhijian's death and his relationships to the plant.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson believes we are not alone in the universe

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson says he doesn’t think we “are alone” after reading the US intelligence community’s recent report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), adding that the launch of a new telescope later this year could find more planets potentially home to intelligent alien life.

An unclassified copy of the report was released to the public on Friday, which confirmed there have been more than 140 UAP sightings, with some lawmakers raising concerns that the objects could be controlled by foreign adversaries potentially posing a national security threat.

Nelson, a former astronaut who previously served as Florida’s senior senator, told CNN on Monday that he has directed scientists to research potential explanations and report back to him.

“Yes, I’ve seen the classified report. It says basically what we thought. We don’t know the answer to what those Navy pilots saw, they know that they saw something, they tracked it, they locked their radar onto it, they followed it, it would suddenly move quickly from one location to another,” he said.

“And what the report does tell us that is public, is that there have been over 140 of these sightings. So naturally, what I ask our scientists to do is to see if there’s any kind of explanation, from a scientific point of view, and I’m awaiting their report,” he said, adding that he spoke with Navy pilots following a briefing on the matter while he was still serving in the upper chamber of Congress.

“… I talked to the Navy pilots, when we were briefed in the Senate Armed Services Committee, and my feeling is that there is clearly something there. It may not necessarily be an extraterrestrial, but if it is a technology that some of our adversaries have, then we better be concerned.”

Nelson added that he doesn’t believe foreign adversaries have the ability to create the types of technologies that they are looking into, noting that both the government and the public are hoping to gain additional information.

“We don’t think so [that it is an adversary], but when it comes to universe, remember the universe is so large, we have a program in NASA called the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. But thus far, we don’t have any receipt communication from something that’s intelligent,” he said.

“People are hungry to know. And of course, ever since ‘Star Trek,’ you know people are yearning to find out what’s out there in the cosmos. Are we alone? Personally I don’t think we are. The universe is so big, it’s 13 and a half billion years ago is when the universe started. That’s pretty big. But people are hungry for this kind of information and we’re going to keep searching.”

The Joe Biden administration has created a “Vaccine Hesitancy Map” using U.S. Census Data in order to help pro-vaccine activists target counties where people who don’t want to take the vaccine live.

The Biden regime’s “We Can Do This” initiative, operated by the Department of Health and Human Services, seeks to embolden activists around the country to push the Coronavirus vaccine on their fellow Americans. Now, the activists can look at a color-coded “vaccine hesitancy” map that features vaccine hesitancy rates and racial demographics per county. HERE IS THE MAP THAT VACCINE PUSHERS COULD USE TO TARGET YOU.

“The map shows COVID-19 vaccination hesitancy estimates by county, plus additional facts to help you understand your outreach areas. Zoom in on an area and click on a county to see the information,” according to the HHS website featuring the map.

Kamala Harris is using the “We Can Do This” program to coach pro-vaccine activists on how to go door to door pushing the vaccine. Swedish Prime Minister Lofven Resigns, Speaker to Look for New Leader

STOCKHOLM—Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven resigned on Monday, handing the speaker of its split parliament the task of finding a new government.

Lofven had faced a deadline of midnight on Monday to either step down or call a snap election after losing a June 21 confidence vote when the Left Party withdrew its support.

“I have requested to be dismissed as prime minister,” Lofven told a news conference, admitting defeat in his efforts to find fresh support from lawmakers that might have secured his reappointment.

“It is the most difficult political decision I have ever taken.”

Speaker Andreas Norlen will now have up to four attempts to find a new prime minister with enough backing from parliament. If he fails, a snap election must be called.

Any new administration will be a short one, as regular polls must be held in September 2022.

“With one year left until the election, and an ongoing pandemic, a snap election is not the best thing for Sweden,” Social Democrat leader Lofven said on Monday.

“We can’t use our time for political games.”

Sweden hopes to lift mostly voluntary COVID-19 restrictions after the summer as infections have been falling.

Nicholas Aylott, Associate Professor of political science at Sodertorn University, said Lofven could probably return as prime minister with support from the Left and Centre parties. But a government would only be viable if he can get them to agree on a budget.

“Lofven is surely confident that he’ll cobble together the 175 votes that he needs,” he said. “Getting the Left and Centre parties behind the same budget will be tricky, but some fudge could be found.”

Hunter Biden Invested In The Pandemic Firm Collaborating With EcoHealth and The Wuhan Lab.

Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners – an investment firm led by Hunter Biden – was a lead financial backer of Metabiota, a pandemic tracking and response firm that has partnered with Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners (RSTP) was an offshoot of Rosemont Capital, an investment fund founded by Biden and John Kerry’s stepson in 2009, that counted Biden as a Managing Director.

Among the companies listed on archived versions of the firm’s portfolio is Metabiota, a San Francisco-based company that purports to detect, track, and analyze emerging infectious diseases, The National Pulse can reveal.

Since 2014, Metabiota has been a partner of EcoHealth Alliance as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) “PREDICT” project, which seeks to “predict and prevent global emerging disease threats.”

As part of this effort, researchers from Metabiota, EcoHealth Alliance, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology collaborated on a study relating to bat infectious diseases in China. “Sensitive and broadly reactive RT-PCR assays were performed at Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences,” the paper notes.

The proximity between Hunter Biden and COVID-19’s origins are almost too convenient.

Among the researchers listed on the aforementioned 2014 paper are “bat lady” Shi Zhengli, the Director of the Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Chinese Communist Party’s Wuhan Lab. The disgraced Peter Daszak – recently recused from the Lancet COVID-19 commission due to several conflicts of interest as a “longtime collaborator” of the Wuhan Institute of Virology – is also listed as an author.

Arizona House Passes Bill Requiring Schools Share Stories From People Who Fled Communism

The Republican-majority Arizona House on Friday approved a bill that could mandate that school teachers share stories from people who fled communism as part of the curriculum.

The requirement is part of House Bill 2898 (pdf), which includes changes in laws governing K-12 education in the state. The language was inserted by Republican state Rep. Judy Burges and states that the measure will prepare students to be “civically responsible and knowledgeable adults.”

Public schools will be required to teach “a comparative discussion of political ideologies, such as communism and totalitarianism, the conflict with the principles of freedom and democracy essential to the founding principles of the United States” among other changes, the bill’s text states.

Arizona’s Department of Education must also develop new civic education standards for school districts and charter schools to include, such as on the original intent of America’s Founding Documents and principles of the United States, including the expectation that U.S. citizens will be responsible for preserving and defending “the blessings of liberty inherited from prior generations and secured by the United States Constitution.”

The education board would also have to develop a list of oral history resources that provide “patriotism based on first-person accounts of victims of other nations’ governing philosophies who can compare those philosophies with those of the United States.”

“The reality is [that] one of the greatest threats facing the globe today is communism and totalitarianism,” Republican state Rep. Jake Hoffman said, Capitol Media Services reported.

“We have governments like the Communist Chinese government, that their stated goal is to be the world’s sole and only superpower, and that they will achieve that goal through any means possible,” Hoffman added.

The legislation now heads to the Arizona state Senate for consideration.

It comes days after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order on education that pushes back against critical race theory, and also creates an education program that will require students to be taught about “the evils of communism.”

In short, high schools must provide “instruction on the evils of communism and totalitarian ideology,” DeSantis said, noting that there are Florida residents who have escaped totalitarian regimes and communist dictatorships, such as from Cuba and Vietnam, to live in America.

“We want all students to understand the difference,” he said. “Why would somebody flee across shark-infested waters … why would people leave these countries and risk their lives to be able to come here? It’s important that students understand that.”

The governor on June 22 also signed into law HB 5 that requires the Florida Department of Education develop an integrated K-12 civic education curriculum that includes teaching students about citizens’ shared rights under the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

U.N. Rights Chief Calls for End to ‘Systemic Racism’ – Seeks Reparations, Funding of Black Lives Matter

The U.N. human rights chief on Monday called on the world to immediately dismantle systemic racism against people of African descent and “make amends” to the oppressed — including reparation payments, while groups like Black Lives Matter should receive “funding, public recognition and support.”

Michelle Bachelet claimed the dehumanisation of people on racial grounds had fed a culture of tolerance for discrimination and violence, declaring the time has come to end the practice.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights set out a four-point agenda for change on racial justice and equality, and urged states to implement it without delay.

Former Chilean Socialist president Bachelet’s recommendations include reparations for historical racism, as well as state funding for groups like Black Lives Matter, as a starting point to tackle an issue she said knows no bounds or borders.

Her report also identifies a “long-overdue need to confront the legacies of enslavement, the transatlantic trade in enslaved Africans and colonialism, and to seek reparatory justice.”

“The status quo is untenable,” said Bachelet, who presented her 23-page report to the U.N. Human Rights Council.

“Systemic racism needs a systemic response” to dismantle centuries of entrenched discrimination and violence, she said.

“We need a transformative approach that tackles the interconnected areas that drive racism, and lead to repeated, wholly avoidable tragedies like the death of George Floyd.”

The voices of black people and anti-racism activists must be heard and their concerns acted upon, said the report.

This should include ensuring representation at every level in state institutions, including law enforcement, criminal justice and policy-making, it warned.

The report comes three days after former Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin was sentenced to 22 and a half years in prison over the death of George Floyd in May 2020, as Breitbart News reported.

The conclusions of the U.N. study came from interviews with more than 340 people — mostly of African descent — and experts; more than 100 contributions in writing, including from governments; and review of public material, the rights office said.

“We could not find a single example of a state that has fully reckoned with the past or comprehensively accounted for the impacts of the lives of people of African descent today,” Mona Rishmawi, who leads a unit on non-discrimination at the U.N. human rights office, told a news conference. “Our message, therefore, is that this situation is untenable.”

Compensation should be considered at the “collective and the individual level,” she said, while adding that any such process “starts with acknowledgment” of past wrongs and “it’s not one-size-fits-all.”

She said countries must look at their own pasts and practices to assess how to proceed.

Ambassador Marks Century of Chinese Communism With Visit to Marx Grave in London

China’s new ambassador to the United Kingdom has marked the 100th anniversary of Chinese communism with a series of events, including a speech with the Communist Party of Britain and a wreath-laying at the tomb of Karl Marx.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the largest of its kind in the world with an enormous 92 million members, held a joint event over the weekend with one of the smallest, the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) at approximately 1,000 members. At a co-hosted event on Saturday, Chinese Ambassador Zheng Zeguang addressed “Comrade Robert Griffiths” — the General Secretary of the CPB since 1998 — and hailed the pioneers of the international communist movement Karl Marx and Frederick Engels who lived in the United Kingdom in the 19th century.

Perhaps trying to encourage the CPB to grow, Ambassador Zeguang told the event: “In the past 100 years, the CPC traversed an epic journey and grew bigger and stronger. From a small group of a dozen to a membership of nearly 92 million, it is now the world’s largest political party”. At the last national election where the CPB stood candidates, they gained a few hundred votes nationwide out of the 30 million votes cast.

Addressing Marx, Zeguang said: “Karl Marx, the architect of Marxist parties and pioneer of the international communist movement… It was here over 170 years ago that [Marx and Engels] discussed… and drafted the Manifesto of the Communist Party.

“More than 100 years ago, Marxism was introduced to China and inspired the founding of the Communist Party of China. For 100 years, the CPC has worked strenuously and made extraordinary achievements. It combined the basic tenets of Marxism with the practical realities of China. It has led the Chinese people to overcome all difficulties and achieve enormous success in the new democratic revolution and the socialist revolution, development and reform.”

Marx had come to London in 1849 as a political refugee and lived in the United Kingdom for the rest of his life. He was buried in north London’s Highgate cemetery — known for holding the graves of near two hundred years worth of political, cultural, and scientific notables — the site of another Chinese Communism 100 year celebration event on Saturday.

Ambassador Zeguang laid a floral wreath at the large marble and bronze monument to Karl Marx, writing of the occasion: “Visited the grave of Karl Marx and paid our high respects, as we are celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China.”

There is a war on for your mind, as behavioural scientists increasingly shape the narrative that you hear and see. This is especially true in regards to Covid-19. As a UK government document from March of last year stated, “many issues around the coronavirus response relate to behaviour.”

This is why the UK government has an entire team of behavioural scientists who work to improve public compliance with scientific dictates in relation to Covid-19. It is called the Independent Scientific Pandemic Insights Group on Behaviours (SPI-B), with a similar group formed during the co-called swine flu pandemic of 2009/10 and the Ebola crisis of 2014.

The behavioural team is a sub-group of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), which advises the UK government on Covid-19. This sub-group is comprised of more than 40 scientists and academics, from such fields as health psychology, social psychology and anthropology. They provide “behavioural science advice aimed at anticipating and helping people adhere to interventions that are recommended by medical or epidemiological experts.”

The behavioural sub-group has suggested various measures. In order to increase public compliance with Covid dictates for instance, the sub-group suggested “increasing risk perceptions.” A UK government document also notes that the behavioural sub-group is “maintaining a log of COVID-19 specific behavioural science, including polling.” In other words, Covid-19 is the grandest live social experiment in human history, and we are the guinea pigs.

Ministry of Electricity confirms station was hit by Katyusha rockets

ISIS has issued a statement over the weekend claiming that they were behind a rocket attack on a power state in Samarra. The Ministry of Electricity had confirmed the attack.

According to the ministry, the Katyusha rockets hit the Salah al-Din Power Station, and did “severe damage” to the generating unit. It is unclear if anyone was killed in the attacks.

This is one of the biggest ISIS-claimed attacks in Iraq in over a year, as the group has fired some rockets here and there but was never anything damaged to this extent.

ISIS has a very limited presence in Iraq, with most of the remnant fighters in the Syrian desert, trying to reassert themselves there. So far, they’ve not been successful, and ISIS controls no populated areas.

Israel: outgoing president visiting the White House

Outgoing Israeli President Reuven Rivlin is scheduled to meet with US President Joe Biden in the White House today. This will be the first meeting between Biden and an Israeli leader since his inauguration in January.

"President Rivlin's visit will highlight the enduring partnership between the United States and Israel and the deep ties between our governments and our people," said the White House.

Rivlin landed in New York yesterday and met with executives of major Jewish organisations in Manhattan along with Israel's Ambassador to the US and UN, Gilad Erdan.

According to Haaretz, Rivlin plans to thank Biden for his diplomatic and military support for Israel during the recent military offensive against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. This is being spun as a "conflict with Hamas." He will also thank the strongly Zionist Biden for his personal involvement in such support, as well as Washington's commitment to Israel's general security.

The US gives Israel $3.8 billion a year in military aid, equivalent to 20 per cent of the occupation state's defence budget. The sum amounts to nearly three-fifths of US foreign military aid globally.

"I am departing, for the last time as president and on behalf of the State of Israel, on a farewell visit to Israel's closest ally and friend in the world: the United States of America," Rivlin told reporters before taking off from Ben Gurion International Airport. "On my visit I will meet President Joe Biden, a true friend of the State of Israel for many years and I will thank him for his genuine concern for Israel's security and its citizens. I will also hold meetings at the UN to discuss regional issues on our agenda and meet the American Jewish community which is so dear to our hearts."

Rivlin's seven-year term as president is due to end on 7 July. The White House said that his visit "will honour the dedication he has shown to strengthening the friendship between the two countries over the course of many years."

Canada outlines new legislation to make hate speech a crime

If enacted, first-time violators could pay up to $20,000 in fines.

Canada's Liberal Party, led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is proposing new legislation to make online hate speech a crime.

Under the proposed law, unveiled Wednesday, hate speech could be punishable by as much as $20,000 in Canadian currency, or roughly $16,250 in U.S. currency, for a first offense and up to $50,000 Canadian or $40,600 U.S., for a second offense, according to Reuters.

"These changes are designed to target the most egregious and clear forms of hate speech that can lead to discrimination and violence," Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada David Lametti said Wednesday, according to the CBC. "They do not target simple expressions of dislike or disdain that pepper everyday discourse, especially online."

The proposed legislation by the Justice Department of Canada would tamp down on hate speech by adding language to the Canadian Human Rights Act and Canadian criminal code to try to clarify the definition of hate speech.

Such speech would be defined as "content that expresses detestation or vilification of a person or group."

However, officials say the proposed law will not punish regular offensive language and would exclude content that hurts, humiliates, or expresses dislike or disdain.

The proposal, if signed into law, would make it easier for individuals to file complaints against people who post on the internet and sites that allow them including websites and blog posts.

Canadian Conservatives say the law is just posturing by Liberals before an election, arguing that the hate speech law would strip Canadians of their rights, including freedom of speech.

"This bill will not target hate speech – just ensure bureaucrats in Ottawa are bogged down with frivolous complaints about tweets," said Rob Moore, the Conservative Party's Shadow Minister for Justice and Attorney General of Canada.

Ankara has given “former” al-Qaeda commander Manar Al-Shami Turkish citizenship.

Turkey has long supported the al-Qaeda-affiliated so-called “moderate opposition” in Idlib, which mostly comprises Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the de facto ruler of the Syrian region.

Rebranding a number Syrian factions as the Syrian National Army (SNA), critics say Turkey has incorporated extreme jihadist groups into the SNA.

Turkey had supported the rebranding of HTS, a group known to have incorporated fighters from the Nusra Front, which had pledged allegiance to al Qaeda.

HTS, whose name in Arabic means “Liberation of the Levant Committee,” was formed in Jan. 2017 by several Islamist factions in Syria, including al Qaeda’s former branch in the country.

“HTS, is a Turkish intelligence (MiT) asset and steadily being proxified by the MiT,” Nicholas Heras, Senior Analyst and Program Head for Authoritarianism at the Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy, tweeted in April.

“HTS is literally the only local Syrian actor that can control Idlib at a low cost for Turkey. Turkey and this Syrian al-Qaeda-linked group have a symbiotic relationship, and HTS is an asset to Ankara,” Heras told Ahval.

3 Largest hospital systems in Massachusetts implement vaccine mandate, nearly 130,000 workers affected

Three of the largest hospital systems in Massachusetts have announced that they will require their workers to get Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations.

The three hospital systems in question are Mass General Brigham, Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) and Wellforce. Between these three hospital systems, they control over two dozen hospitals and even more clinics, community and emergency health centers and other healthcare facilities. All three hospital systems are headquartered in Boston, but have facilities all over Massachusetts.

Vaccine mandates will be enforced after FDA authorization

On Thursday, June 24, Mass General Brigham told its more than 80,000 employees that it will be requiring all of them to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The company added that more than 85 percent of its workers are already fully vaccinated.

“Over the past 16 months we have come together as a system to care for our patients and each other as never before and the efforts of our employees have been extraordinary and inspiring. The evidence of COVID-19 vaccine safety and effectiveness is overwhelming,” said CEO Dr. Anne Klibanski in a press release. “Getting vaccinated is the single most important and responsible step each of us can take to put an end to this devastating pandemic and protect patients, families and each other.”

Klibanski claimed her company’s decision was made based on research, data and trends. She will enforce the company’s vaccine mandate once the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) gives full approval to one of the three vaccines in the U.S. that have already been granted emergency use authorization.

BILH announced its vaccine mandate a day earlier on Wednesday, June 23. CEO Dr. Kevin Tabb said his workers must set an example for their patients by getting vaccinated. He said this “condition of employment” will help them protect each other and make certain they do not infect patients.

“I think it would be very hard for any of us, either individually or collectively as an organization, to live with ourselves knowing that we have potentially caused harm or death if we can avoid it,” said Tabb.

Pfizer suspends distribution of anti-smoking drug after cancer-causing agents found in the pills

On Thursday, June 24, Pfizer announced it is temporarily halting the distribution of its anti-smoking pill, Chantix. The company is doing this after it found heightened levels of a cancer-causing compound in the drug.

Chantix was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in May 2006 as a prescription medication that is supposed to help adults quit smoking. It is meant to be used regularly for 12 to 24 weeks.

Pfizer said that it was recalling certain lots of Chantix from distribution, but refused to divulge how many lots. The company added that it was pausing the distribution of Chantix out of an abundance of caution, pending further testing of the drug.

Canadian health regulators have also announced a recall of the anti-smoking drug, known as Champix outside the U.S.

“We have worked hand-in-hand with regulatory authorities around the world,” said Pfizer in a statement.

Cancer-causing compound found in Chantix and many other drugs

The cancer-causing agents found in Chantix are known as nitrosamines. Pfizer found the substance after the FDA and other drug regulatory authorities around the world asked pharmaceutical companies to assess their products for nitrosamines. These bodies did this after one nitrosamine, N-Nitrosodimethylamine, or NDMA, was found in blood pressure medication three years ago.

Nitrosamines are common in water and certain foods, such as grilled and cured meats, dairy products and vegetables. The FDA claims that ingesting very low levels of nitrosamines should not cause harm.

On October 19, 2020, former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr appointed John Durham as special prosecutor under authorities provided by under DOJ regulations [28 cfr 600]. However, AG Bill Barr did not tell the public at the time of the appointment. Within the original appointment AG Barr notes the reason for doing this quietly [Page 2, Paragraph (e)]:

“Pursuant to 28 C.F.R. § 600.9(b), I have determined that the notification requirement … should be tolled until at least after the November 3, 2020 election because legitimate and investigative privacy concerns warrant confidentiality.“

In essence, AG Bill Barr stated he did not want to impact the 2020 presidential election with a notification to congress or the public of this appointment. While the justification for this approach is clearly within the unspoken rules of the DOJ not wanting to give the impression of interference in political elections, we must also accept these unspoken DOJ rules only flow in one direction – when Democrat party politicians need to be protected.

However, beyond the justification for not informing the public that U.S. Attorney John Durham was now empowered with special prosecutor authorities before the 2020 presidential election, there are much bigger issues that surface; and this must be accepted and discussed in its purposeful totality.

Neil Gorsuch Tacitly Admits He Pulled the Wool Over Americans' Eyes in His Transgender Ruling

On Monday, the Supreme Court announced it would not take up the case Gavin Grimm v. Gloucester County School Board (2020), a high-profile case concerning whether or not Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 forbids schools from designating bathrooms according to biological sex. The school board had allowed single-user restrooms as an alternative to dropping the sex-specific restroom policy, but Grimm challenged it, anyway.

A panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Grimm, a female student who identifies as male and sought to use the boys’ restroom. In the 2-1 ruling, Judge Henry F. Floyd twisted the Supreme Court’s ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County (2020) in order to strike down the school board’s policy.

The Supreme Court had the option of taking up the case and clarifying the issue, but the Court refused to grant certiorari. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito voted to take up the case. Neither they nor the Court as a whole issued any opinion explaining their reasoning.

In Bostock, the Court ruled that when Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 forbids discrimination on the basis of sex in employment decisions, that also forbids discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI). In a powerful dissent, Alito condemned the ruling as “preposterous” because Congress had tried and failed to amend Title VII in order to include a prohibition of SOGI discrimination and because no one interpreted the law this way until 1971.

Even so, in that preposterous ruling, Gorsuch explicitly stated that the logic of Bostock does not necessarily apply to bathroom cases.

“The employers worry that our decision will sweep beyond Title VII to other federal or state laws that prohibit sex discrimination. And, under Title VII itself, they say sex-segregated bathrooms, locker rooms, and dress codes will prove unsustainable after our decision today. But none of these other laws are before us; we have not had the benefit of adversarial testing about the meaning of their terms, and we do not prejudge any such question today. Under Title VII, too, we do not purport to address bathrooms, locker rooms, or anything else of the kind,” Gorsuch wrote.

Yet Judge Henry F. Floyd cited Bostock in ruling for Grimm.

“After the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Bostock v.
