Airbus and Boeing will not be affected too much.

>Despite the loss of business, Airbus appears sanguine about its future. “Our [aircraft order] backlog stands at more than 7,100 aircraft, this translates into some nine years of production at current rates,” a spokesperson for Airbus said.

Anons. I think the whole thing with ZTE is a message from Trump to the European Union. ZTE was banned from trading with USA because it broke sanctions with North Korea and Iran. However, Trump has just overturned the ban with a click of his fingers. I think the he is leveraging EU corporations to get rid of the cabal members. Remember, there aren't too many of them. More good than bad.

if I was the CEO of Volkswagon and Total I'd be more than happy for Merkel and Macron to take a bullet (not literal) rather than lose business.

The message is quite clear. Fall in line or it's going to get messy and we've got China on our side as well.
