Blankfein, Cohn To Face Shareholder Lawsuit Over Massive 1MDB Corruption
For a while, it looked as if Lloyd Blankfein, Gary Cohn and other senior Goldman executives who were around when the firm first started doing business with 1MDB, the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund that was plundered by associates of former PM Najib Razak while also being utilized as a political slush fund (the money was supposed to be used on public works projects in poor Malaysia).
Although Blankfein and others were forced to return some of their bonus pay, Gary Cohn - who left the bank to serve as Trump's top economic advisor for a brief time before being unceremoniously ousted from the West Wing - appeared to have successfully snubbed the bank's claw-back attempts, refusing to turn over $10MM that the bank demanded.
But while Blankfein and others have escaped criminal liability, it looks like they won't be so lucky on the civil front.
Blankfein and Cohn must face a shareholder lawsuit over the 1MDB global bribery scandal, a judge ruled yesterday. US District Judge Vernon Broderick denied requests from Goldman, Blankfein and Cohn to dismiss a shareholder lawsuit led by Swedish pension fund Sjunde AP-Fonden. However the judge did drop former co-COO Harvey Schwartz from the case.
Shareholders initially sued Goldman Sachs in late 2018, accusing the bank of misleading them about the firm’s work with the sovereign wealth fund, for which the bank arranged $6.5 billion in bond sales. The firm has denied culpability in the scandal and laid the blame on Tim Leissner, a former partner who has pleaded guilty and has cooperated with prosecutors in their criminal case against Goldman (which ended in a settlement).

Pallets of completed boxes have been moved to one side of the stadium and are organized in numerical order. The pallets have also been organized in the same sequence as they were delivered, with the same boxes. All ballots have an accurate chain of custody.

The completed corral is open for recounting boxes and the previously empty corral is now full of tabulation machines.
Volunteers are recounting boxes with an observer in order to guarantee 100% accuracy and a flawless process. There absolutely will be a legal fight when the results come out.
On one side of the coliseum, more volunteers were trained to review recount spreadsheets.
They are doing these extra checks to ensure that data entry was accurate and corresponds to tally sheets.
Karen Fann insists that they are not in a rush to release any information. The full forensic audit is about accuracy.
Christina Bobb said that it would be easy for them to deliver a report that says the election was accurate, but ‘not accurate’ is a harder statement. She does hope to see something from the Senate early this week.
Spokesperson Randy Pullen told TGP’s Jordan Conradson that they should be finished today after they complete their spot checks and data reconciliation.
These results will not be easy to present to the public because we all know this was NOT a secure election.
As the Senate finishes passing the budget and new election integrity bills, we hope to hear a statement from the Arizona Senate in the near future.

Report: Biden Allies Launch New Group to Promote Far-Left Agenda
Allies of President Joe Biden, who spent tens of millions to get him elected, are starting a new “nonprofit advocacy group” set to promote the radical legislation agenda of the administration, according to a report.
The group, Unite the Country Now, will play as the nonprofit branch of the conveniently similarly named super PAC, Unite the Country, which spent around $50 million to help Biden get elected, Axios reports. Recently, two Democrats, Mark Doyle and Amanda Loveday, who were behind it officially incorporated the sister nonprofit in D.C.
Unite the Country Now, according to the report, is set to “swell an already formidable stable of independent pro-Biden outfits trying to get his top policy goals past recalcitrant congressional Republicans and some tough-to-wrangle Democrats.” In turn, the group will also allow Biden’s donors to support a group that is devoted to helping Biden and his far-left agenda.
Axios was told by Loveday that “We know from previous administrations just how vital it is to educate the American people about the policies and successes of the Biden administration.” She added that their group would be able to “expand” their “efforts beyond our election work to educating Americans” about the far-left agenda the president has in store for America.
Reportedly, the group is a 501(4)(c) nonprofit which is also known as a dark-money group. That allows them not to be required to disclose any of its financial supporters. The super PAC Unite the Country has reportedly received massive donations last year during the campaign cycle from people like Michael Bloomberg, Reid Hoffman, and Jim Simons.
Loveday allegedly told Axios that the group is still undecided on if they will release the donors’ names or just refuse donations from “certain industries or from registered lobbyists or foreign agents.” Axios noted, Unite the Country Now joined the growing list of pro-Biden groups created to spend unknown amounts of cash promoting the president’s far-left agenda.

Abu Dhabi to bar unvaccinated from schools and shops
Countries around the world are turning to tough measures to encourage vaccine laggards to get jabbed, including barring access to shops and jobs.
As Australia struggles to get its vaccination rate into the double digits, countries with more successful shot strategies are turning their minds to how to encourage those holding out to get jabbed.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has the world’s highest vaccination rate, has announced the unvaccinated will soon not be allowed to enter shopping centres, restaurants, schools or museums in its capital of Abu Dhabi.
“The decision is in line with the emirate’s strategy to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and complements preventive and precautionary measures taken to preserve public health,” the Abu Dhabi government said in a statement on Monday.
It’s one of a number of sweeping steps being taken around the world as nations attempt to emerge from the pandemic and return to a level of normality.
Last week, Singapore said breathalyser Covid tests at shopping centres and workplaces could be rolled out alongside axing quarantine and ditching daily case numbers as part of a plan to “live with Covid”.
In Russia, which is battling mass vaccine hesitancy, there are warnings people could be sacked from a range of jobs including bar work if they don’t get the jab.
Measured by doses administered per 100 people, the UAE has had the world’s most successful vaccine rollout. The Middle Eastern country of 10 million has delivered 15 million jabs which is 154 per 100 residents. It’s estimated that amounts to around 77 per cent of residents being fully vaccinated.
It has used the US-German Pfizer shot, China’s Sinovac and Russia’s Sputnik V jab.
The country is seeing around 2000 new Covid-19 cases per day, about half its peak, and six daily deaths.

Rumble’s Terms And Conditions Change To Ban ‘Hate Speech’ And ‘Anti-Semitism’ Same Day Trump Joins Platform

Questions linger surrounding the timing of changes to Rumble’s Terms and Conditions on the very same day President Trump’s verified account appeared on the video hosting website. New rules to limit ‘hate speech’ appeared on Saturday with specific mention of “anti-Semitic” content and comments being in violation.
Most of the list of what is not allowed as content on the site deals with legalities such as trademarks, copyright, intellectual property, pornography, inciting violence, etc., but a line is aimed squarely at the ambiguous ‘hate speech’. It reads, “Content or material that is grossly offensive to the online community, including but not limited to, expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, anti-Semitism and hatred”
To call out protections for one specific group in the Terms and Conditions seems odd to many, considering no other group gets the same consideration anywhere on the rest of the website. Many wonder if President Trump and his advisors might have had a say in the new rules as a condition to coming to the site as a content creator. Gab CEO Andrew Torba suggested as much, and wrote on Gab, “No mention of banning Anti-White hatred, which is still allowed. According to WayBackMachine a few days prior their terms did not include these things. Check it for yourself.”

Some, including Torba, have suggested President Turmp’s son-in-law Jared Kushner approaches platforms with a list of requirements for President Trump to join. National File has reported that Kushner wouldn’t let President Trump join the free speech social network, Gab, unless criticism of Jewish people and Israel was banned according to Gab CEO Andrew Torba. Similarly, President Trump’s team reportedly refused to allow the 45th President to join Parler unless the platform consented to banning those who criticized him.
With President Trump being banned from the Big Tech sites he seemingly was on the hunt for a new ‘public square’ to be able to communicate directly to the American people. His passionate followers would likely swarm to whichever alt-tech site he chooses. This certainly might give Trump’s team some clout to make suggestions about how they would want a website moderated if they were to be a content provider.

During a debate on the removal of statues and portraits from the U.S. Capitol that depict members of the Confederacy and other historical white male figures that enrage progressives, House minority leader and Frank Luntz’s roommate Kevin McCarthy announced that he supports far-left calls for the statues’ removal because they depict “Democrats.”
The greatest challenge ever to our Constitution was the Civil War,” McCarthy proclaimed. “Long and by far. The bill we’re voting on today, we voted before, and I supported it, and I support it now. But let me state a simple fact – all the statues being removed by this bill are statues of Democrats. Madame Speaker, as I heard the Speaker talk earlier about removing the four portraits of Speakers in the hall, the same answer goes for that as well. They were all Democrats.”
McCarthy continued the bizarre monologue, declaring, “What’s interesting is the statues that need to be removed were sent to the Capitol by states that were majority controlled by Democrats, sent to a House that had a majority controlled by Democrats, accepting of these statues. I think the bill should go further.”
Virginia Congressional candidate Jarome Bell slammed McCarthy comment’s on Tuesday, tweeting “Giving the Democrats a reason to tear down historical monuments will inevitably lead to the destruction of the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and the Washington Monument. Anyway, the way your whiney ass was CRYING on Fox News on Jan 6th DQs you from leadership.”
