Democrats: "How dare you question the results of the 2020 election!"
Also Democrats: "Oops we counted 135,000 accidental votes in the NYC race yesterday!"
A play on words would be nice. Something like "If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear". Taking their "Spying on you is necessary" bullshit and turning it on their heads.
Audits are the "Trust but verify" of a functioning Republic.
His source is "someone trusted" said they heard that someone at the NSA said they were monitoring him. Everyone assumes it to be true because "muh Snowden". Everyone forgets Pres Trump made the NSA dump a bunch of records on domestic targets that are no longer the mission of the NSA.

The point is, even if it were true, the intent is to send a message through select journos that belligerents are aware of their opponents maneuvers. Look at how certain folks in all agencies are getting highlighted during Joe's "administration". Before, it was "Trump's Administration is in peril!" 24/7, and now the media seems to have had a script change, and are simultaneously exposing themselves and the most egregious infiltrators for all to see.
BTW, Pompeo is wearing a yellow tie on Fox right now.
Just trying to think about the current environment as if we're in some sort of battle for hearts and minds in a world of diverse realities competing for the top spot in the public consciousness.
Could be true, could be bullshit.
