Follow the money. Ivermectin is out of patent. This means any company can produce a generic version. It's also cheap to produce. If Ivermectin were to be adopted and applied it prophylactically we could beat COVID. However that would mean no pharma profits, no political campaign donations from pharma and no more lockdowns transferring wealth to the elites at historic rates.
