Digging into Ben Rhodes, led me on an interesting path that I haven't seen posted here yet.
(pic related on how it led me there: https:// www.nytimes.com/2016/05/08/magazine/the-aspiring-novelist-who-became-obamas-foreign-policy-guru.html)
The person referred to in the pic is Jessica Mathews, Bilderberg member http:// americanfreepress.net/ban-bilderberg/
Daughter of Barbara Tuchman- author/historian/pulitzer prize winner
Granddaughter of Maurice Wertheim- owner of The Nation magazine (https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nation), president of the American Jewish Congress (https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Jewish_Congress), prominent art collector, and a founder of the Theatre Guild.
Great-granddaughter of Henry Morgenthau- Sr., Woodrow Wilson's ambassador to the Ottoman Empire
Hillary was attempting to “crack” her via Jacob Sullivan: but she was too hard to “crack” https:// wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/emailid/20040
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

CEIP has headquarters in Beijing 2010, Beirut 2006, Brussels 2007, New Delhi 2016 and Moscow 1994 (years listed are when they opened).
I have only dug into Beirut area so far because of Rhodes ties to middle eastern advise to Hussein.
CEIP opened up shop in Beirut in 2006- around the same time as the Iran-Israel proxy war. With Hezbollah being a big player- and we know Hussein's relationship with Hezbollah now. Ben Rhodes was adviser to Hussein during the "Arab Spring", and of course Iran Deal

Funding of CEIP think tank:
"Billionaire financier George Soros is an outlier among wealthy givers, contributing through multiple foundations and corporations to a variety of institutions ranging from center-right to progressive: the Center for Economic and Policy Research, Woodrow Wilson Center, Center for Budget and Policy Priorities, Carnegie, Aspen, Brookings, Cato, CFR, EPI, NAF and CAP."

They are tied to Citigroup via PEII , they have placed board members on each
PEII: https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterson_Institute_for_International_Economics (check out BoD here!)
And PEII has ties to Merkel via German Marshall Fund: https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Marshall_Fund
still plenty to dig, but here's a start
