>You do not have a right to be 'comfortable'. Everyone has a guaranteed right to Freedom of Speech. 'Inappropriate', 'offensive,' and 'problematic' are words that do not exist here. YOU are responsible for what YOU look at and how YOU feel about it; NO ONE ELSE IS. You can choose to look or not look, read or not read. If you do read something you don't like, then remove it from behind your eyeballs yourself and move on. It is your fault if you allow a thing you don't like to sit in your head and take root and make you feel offended. We do not care if you are offended. We don't want to hear about it. Do not tell us if you are offended.

Your paragraph is worthy of being dissected because it shows the massive problems with trying to administer a freedom-of-speech site. Traditional freedom of speech depended on a culture of English values that ceased to exist decades ago. Now we, the degenerate scions of the once-proud Western Civilization, still talk about freedom of speech even after we have lost the culture that made it meaningful.

>You do not have a right to be 'comfortable'. Everyone has a guaranteed right to Freedom of Speech. 'Inappropriate', 'offensive,' and 'problematic' are words that do not exist here.

Actually, those words exist, they are just always dancing on the edge of meaninglessness, because radical freedom of speech implies willingness to destroy communication and meaning in order to preserve freedom.

>YOU are responsible for what YOU look at and how YOU feel about it; NO ONE ELSE IS.

Actually, we don't agree on responsibility. Ultimately whoever has physical control of the server and the connections controls what is said. But even if Jim Watkins or whoever else manages to physically control the board, there is no shared sense of responsibility.

>You can choose to look or not look, read or not read. If you do read something you don't like, then remove it from behind your eyeballs yourself and move on. It is your fault if you allow a thing you don't like to sit in your head and take root and make you feel offended.

"Fault" is meaningless.

>We do not care if you are offended. We don't want to hear about it.

There is no "we." You don't speak for anyone but yourself.

>Do not tell us if you are offended.

Nope! Tell us if you are offended! We really love hearing about it! Of course, most of us love hearing about it in a malicious sense!

Now, it would be ill-advised to tell us you are offended if you hope to gain our SYMPATHY or COOPERATION. But by all means tell us you are mad. Feeding the pointless Internet drama is a big part of chan culture.

Boy, it really is hard to run a freedom-of-speech site, isn't it?

Meanwhile, it's a good thing Q hasn't come back to tell us anything meaningful, so we can indulge in our customary waste of time and bandwidth.
