Laptop shows Joe Biden attended meetings between Hunter and his Mexican business partners

At some point the Biden White House will have to confront evidence of the president’s involvement in his son Hunter’s shady overseas business dealings.

Joe Biden insists he never knew a thing about Hunter’s lucrative deals in countries where he wielded influence as vice president.

But evidence abounds on Hunter’s abandoned laptop of Joe’s involvement.

For instance, Joe invited Hunter’s foreign associates to breakfast meetings at his vice-presidential residence and to his office in the White House, the laptop shows. He took his son on Air Force Two to countries where Hunter was doing deals, and on at least one occasion, included one of Hunter’s business partners on the trip.

Among more than 100 events scheduled in Hunter’s diary at the VP’s residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, DC, there are meetings which appear to overlap with Hunter’s business interests.

“Breakfast with Dad — NavObs” is one such meeting recorded for 8:30 am on November 19, 2015. Five photographs date-stamped on that day and taken at 10:03 am and 10:04 am appear on the laptop, showing Joe posing with four of Hunter’s business associates, including Mexican billionaires Carlos Slim and Miguel Alemán Velasco.

One photo also features Velasco’s son Miguel Aleman Magnani, the founder of budget airline Interjet, at whose Acapulco mansion Hunter and wife Kathleen had stayed that March. Jeff Cooper, a long-time Biden family benefactor, who ran one of the largest asbestos-litigation firms in the country, Illinois-based SimmonsCooper, also appears along with Hunter.

The photos were taken in the living room of the VP’s residence, which was painted at the time in a daffodil yellow chosen by Jill Biden and featured distinctive paintings by Vermont artist Wolf Kahn on loan from Addison/Ripley Fine Art in Georgetown, which are visible on the wall behind the men. Two floral chairs and a pink-toned silk rug in the photos match the décor of the living room at the time. In the background of one photo, a piano and family photographs can be seen in front of a bay window.

Bill Cosby’s prison release a ‘beautiful day’ for women, rep says

Bill Cosby’s surprising release from prison Wednesday was a “beautiful day” not just for the disgraced TV star but for women across the county, his spokesman claimed in an interview with The Post.

“It’s a beautiful day, not just for Bill Cosby because this is about all Americans, making sure that they get justice,” spokesman Andrew Wyatt said after Cosby, 83, was freed from a Pennsylvania prison because his sex-assault conviction was vacated.

“And you know, this was a fight for justice. And that’s what I fight for every day –– justice and vindication for people done wrong by the judicial system.”

The former star of “The Cosby Show” remains defiant despite being accused by multiple women of drugging and sexual assault – and his spokesman claimed Cosby “millions” of women were on his side.

“It’s a beautiful day, and it’s a beautiful day, also for women,” Wyatt said.

“Millions of supporters and millions of women have gotten in touch with us and said ‘We know these women made up these allegations. We know it’s not true,’” he alleged.

“But the beauty of today, another great thing, they can no longer call him a sexual violent predator. No longer call him a rapist. No longer call him these horrible things. He’s now Bill Cosby, an American and national treasure.”

Ikea designs couches for each LGBTQ identity, but Twitter is confused and offended by its bisexual couch

Ikea attempted to show its support for LGBTQ Pride Month by crafting specialty couches based on flags for different gender and sexuality identities, but the bisexual couch left many on Twitter confused and offended.

The couch designs were inspired by the flags for transgender people, pansexuals, nonbinary people, asexual people, genderfluid people, bisexual people, and one simply for "progress."

"We wanted to do something that highlighted the diversity within the 2SLGBTQ+ community because there are so many identities that aren't given as much space or attention during Pride, especially during COVID-19," said Claudia Mayne, the marketing communications director for Ikea Canada, to Fast Company.

Some on social media said they were offended and confused by text on the couch that read, "nobody believes you."

"I don't know if I'll ever stop thinking about the ikea bisexual pride couch saying 'nobody believes you' like how the f*** is this real," responded one Twitter user who identified himself as gay.

"The IKEA bisexual couch looks like a monument honoring the victims of a massacre," responded another user.

"Finally someone said it: bisexuality is when the Hands Monster is about to briefly appear, leaving no trace behind when he leaves, so when you try to describe him to someone, 'nobody believes you,'" read one tweet.

Others just mocked the bisexual sofa.

NSA Response To Carlson Sparks Numerous Reactions: ‘This Is Either Poorly Drafted Or Something Worse’

National Security Agency’s response to allegations that it is spying on Fox News host Tucker Carlson sparked a wide range of responses on Tuesday night with most people falling into one of two camps: Either they noted the carefully crafted way that the statement was constructed or they used the statement to claim that Carlson was lying.

Before getting to the responses, the following is a brief timeline of the events that transpired:What Carlson claimed at the start of the week:

Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government who reached out to warn us that the NSA, the National Security Agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air. … The whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story that we are working on that could have only come directly from my texts and emails. There’s no other possible source for that information, period. … The NSA captured that information without our knowledge and did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that. This morning we filed a FOIA request — Freedom of Information Act request — asking for all information that the NSA and other agencies have gathered about this show.

The NSA responded by publicly releasing a statement the moment that Carlson’s show aired on Tuesday night that claimed:On June 28, 2021, Tucker Carlson alleged that the National Security Agency has been ‘monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air.’ This allegation is untrue. Tucker Carlson has never been an intelligence target of the Agency and the NSA has never had any plans to try to take his program off the air.

NSA has a foreign intelligence mission. We target foreign powers to generate insights on foreign activities that could harm the United States. With limited exceptions (e.g. an emergency), NSA may not target a US citizen without a court order that explicitly authorizes the targeting.

Carlson responded to the NSA’s statement by stating in-part:

Tonight’s statement from the NSA does not deny that. Instead, it comes with this non sequitur, in part, quote, ‘Tucker Carlson has never been an intelligence target of the agency.’ Okay, glad to know. But the question remains, did the Biden administration read my personal emails? That’s the question that we asked directly to NSA officials when we spoke to them about 20 minutes ago in a very heated conversation. Did you read my emails? And again, they refuse to say, again and again. And then they refused even to explain why they couldn’t answer that simple question. We can’t tell you and we won’t tell you why we can’t tell you. My emails. And the message is clear. We can do whatever we want. We can read your personal texts; we can read your personal emails; we can send veiled threats your way to brush you back if we don’t like your politics; we can do anything.

James Franco will pay $2.2 million to settle suit alleging sexual exploitation, fraud

James Franco will pay more than $2.2 million to settle a class-action lawsuit filed by two former students at his acting school, pending court approval, according to court documents filed last week and made public Wednesday.

This comes after news in February that a deal had been reached.

A total of $2,235,000 is proposed to be split as follows, according to the documents filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court: $894,000 to settle sexual exploitation claims and $1,341,000 to a common fund to settle the fraud claims. The defendants are admitting no liability.

In return, the named plaintiffs, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, are agreeing to release their individual claims against Franco, without prejudice. If the settlement is approved, Tither-Kaplan would get $670,500 minus $223,500 that will go to lawyers; Gaal would get $223,500 minus $74,500 to the lawyers.

The fraud class will be divided into those who paid tuition for Master Class courses and those who paid for any classes at Studio 4 Film School in New York or L.A. between February 2014 and the date the preliminary approval order is filed. They will each get a share of $827,045, which is the amount that will remain in the common fund after attorneys fees and administrative costs.

In their October 2019 lawsuit, former students Tither-Kaplan and Gaal had accused the Oscar-nominated actor — along with business partner Vince Jolivette, Rabbit Bandini Productions and the production company’s general manager, Jay Davis — of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, fraudulent business practices and intimidation, among other things.

The lawsuit alleged that the actor’s Studio 4 acting and filmmaking school was actually a setup to provide them with a stream of young, impressionable women for sexual and financial exploitation.

Tither-Kaplan was among the five women who accused Franco of inappropriate or sexually exploitative behavior in a 2018 investigation by the Los Angeles Times.

“I feel there was an abuse of power, and there was a culture of exploiting noncelebrity women, and a culture of women being replaceable,” Tither-Kaplan told The Times that year.

While a Franco representative did not respond immediately to a request for comment Wednesday, the court documents indicated that all parties would agree to a mutual statement.

“While Defendents continue to deny the allegations in the Complaint, they acknowledge that Plaintiffs have raised important issues; and all parties strongly believe that now is a critical time to focus on addressing the mistreatment of women in Hollywood,” the statement said, in part.

“All agree on the need to make sure that no one in the entertainment industry — regardless of sex, race, religion, disability, ethnicity, background, gender or sexual orientation — faces discrimination, harassment or prejudice of any kind.”

University of North Carolina Grants Tenure to ‘1619 Project’ Author Nikole Hannah-Jones

Trustees of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has voted to grant tenure to New York Times writer and author of the divisive “1619 Project” Nikole Hannah-Jones, amid backlash over her “unfactual and biased” work.

The board voted 9-4 in favor of granting tenure to Hannah-Jones after a lengthy closed-session meeting on Wednesday, according to a report by the Washington Post.

The vote comes one day before Hannah-Jones had originally been set to start working as the Knight Chair in Race and Investigative Journalism at the University of North Carolina (UNC)’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media.

The “1619 Project” author, however, refused to start her job unless she was immediately granted tenure. It remains unclear whether Hannah-Jones will still start her position on Thursday or receive a new start date.

“Not only do we support academic freedom, but we believe that a university — that our university — is the very place that the most important issues of our time should be debated,” said vice chair of the board R. Gene Davis Jr., announcing the vote.

Davis added that the vote was “another important step in creating an even better university.”

“We need to listen to each other, and not cancel each other and call each other names,” Davis said.

After the tenure vote, Hannah-Jones took to Twitter to post a photo of a hand raising a shot glass containing what appeared to be a dark liquid, with no explanation.

— Ida Bae Wells (@nhannahjones) June 30, 2021

“I worry about the controversy of tying the UNC journalism school to the 1619 project,” Walter E. Hussman Jr. — a major donor for whom the journalism school is named — had written in a December email to the Hussman school’s dean, Susan King, according to a report by the Assembly.

“I find myself more in agreement with Pulitzer prize winning historians like James McPherson and Gordon Wood than I do Nikole Hannah-Jones,” Hussman added in his email.

The “1619 Project,” which Hannah-Jones authored, claims the United States was founded on the institution of slavery, as well as the “legalized discrimination against black Americans,” and has been heavily scrutinized as a result.

Report: Ashli Babbitt Shooter Is Member of Mike Pence’s Security Detail — Officer Still Not Named After Nearly 6 Months

Ashli Babbitt‘s husband Aaron Babbitt and Attorney Terrell Roberts joined Tucker Carlson earlier this month to discuss the continued challenges they have had getting any information on her death or the identity of her government-employed killer.

During the discussion, Tucker Carlson asked Attorney Roberts about the report that Ashli’s shooter also left his loaded gun in a US Capitol restroom

Tucker Carlson: Mr. Roberts, let me ask you, there are reports online, that’s incredible I don’t know if they’re true, that the Capitol Hill police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt, I’m not going to mention the name, was the same officer that left his loaded handgun in a public men’s room on the Capitol. Do you believe that is the officer, it seems like a very reckless person, who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt on January 6th?

Attorney Terrell Roberts: That’s my belief. That’s my belief.

We reposted this video segment report earlier this month.

So we still do not know the name of the shooter after five months.

And now the Spectator released information on Wednesday that the shooter may be a member of Mike Pence’s security detail.

This would be big, if true.

We reached out to the Babbitt family attorneys. We were told tonight that they will look into this allegation.

And – we will post an update when we hear more from them.

The Spectator reported

Sources close to and within the intelligence community tell Cockburn that Babbitt was actually shot by a member of then-vice president Mike Pence’s protective detail. The VP’s detail, of course, is provided by US Secret Service, not the Capitol Police. One person asserted to Cockburn over drinks in DC that this is ‘basically an open secret’ in the intelligence community.

Law enforcement sources suggested to Cockburn that the Capitol Police Department and Department of Justice have publicly identified the shooter as a Capitol Police officer in order to protect the reputation of the Secret Service. Cockburn also wonders if this isn’t an attempt to protect Pence from further anger or threats from Capitol rioters who wanted him to refuse to certify the results of the election on January 6.

A cover-up of this nature would also explain why the government hasn’t been forthcoming with other information about the alleged Capitol Police officer who they say shot Babbitt. Police officers who are involved in shootings are almost always identified publicly. The unnamed officer’s lawyer says that his client is being kept anonymous due to threats against his life. Babbitt’s family, however, argues that they have a right to know who shot and killed their beloved relative. Her husband, Aaron Babbitt, is suing Washington DC for access to records that would supposedly reveal the name of the officer.

5,000 Burgers Per Day: World's First Mega Lab-Grown Meat Factory Opens

The World Economic Forum's (WEF) The Great Reset plan includes a complete transformation of the global food and agricultural industries and the dieting of humans. The architects behind this plan are preparing for a meatless society with the introduction of cell-based, slaughter-free meat.

Before this decade is over, we're all going to be eating some form of slaughter-free meat, including chicken, pork and lamb, and beef. The point of all this is to generate fewer greenhouse emissions at cattle farms, use less land for farming, and reduce the use of freshwater and grains for the traditional process of growing livestock.

The aim is for a sustainable future, and already we've noted a few companies producing cell-based, slaughter-free meat. However, these facilities are operating at limited output as it is costly to produce fake meat.

That's where Future Meat Technologies of Israel comes into play with their brand new facility able to pump out 500 kilograms (1,102 pounds) of cultured meat products per day, or the equivalence about 5,000 hamburgers per day.

"This facility opening marks a huge step in Future Meat Technologies' path to market, serving as a critical enabler to bring our products to shelves by 2022," said Rom Kshuk, CEO of Future Meat Technologies. "Having a running industrial line accelerates key processes such as regulation and product development."

Kshuk said the facility produces cultured chicken, pork, and lamb products, and beef production will be coming online soon.

Billionaire Funds South Dakota National Guard Deployment To U.S-Mexico Border

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem tweeted Monday that she's sending 50 of her state's National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas and will be paid for by a private donation, according to Axios.

Noem said, "I'm officially announcing up to 50 National Guard troops to Texas to help secure our border." She said President Biden has forgotten that a secured border is critical to maintaining a sovereign nation. "We shouldn't be making our own communities vulnerable by sending police to fix Biden's border crisis."

The funding for the troop deployment is coming from a "Tennessee billionaire and high-dollar Republicans," Axios said.

Noem spokesperson Ian Fury told Axios the funds are coming from a foundation run by billionaire Willis Johnson. There was no word on the size of the donation or the exact mission the troops would be conducting.

Johnson has spent millions of dollars to bankroll several political campaigns, including former President Trump's reelection campaign.

The eventual deployment of the troops, funded by republicans, could optically tarnish Biden's image when it comes to border security because his administration has been chipping away at law and order on the border.

Other Republicans, such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, announced they would send state law enforcement units to Texas to secure the border to clean up Biden's disastrous border policies that have resulted in absolute chaos.

Texas Gov. Abbott has frequently fought with the Biden administration on border issues.

America is a melting pot of cultures. The most sustainable way to blend the world's people is through a fair and orderly immigration system—something the Biden administration has failed to do.

The chaos on the southern border is terrible optics for Biden as Republicans swarm in with law enforcement and privately funded troops to fix the mess. Certainly, the border will be a huge debate issue in the next presidential election cycle.

Big Tech Should Pay Less Attention to Thought Crimes and More to the Criminals Using Its Platforms

A recent ruling by the Texas Supreme Court is an opportunity for all of the Big Tech companies to take a pause and reevaluate their priorities. Big Tech tends to spend a lot of energy ensuring that outlets like PJ Media don’t get too many clicks and policing the opinions of researchers like Bret Weinstein and the Senate testimony of eminent physicians like Dr. Pierre Kory. However, the Big Tech platforms may want to turn their attention to an entirely different subset of users.

According to the Houston Chronicle:

The Texas Supreme Court ruled Friday in a Houston case that Facebook is not a “lawless no-man’s-land” and can be held liable for the conduct of pimps who use its technology to recruit and prey on children.

The ruling came in a trio of Houston civil actions involving teenage trafficking victims who met their abusive pimps through Facebook’s messaging functions. They sued the California-based social media juggernaut for negligence and product liability, saying that Facebook failed to warn about or attempt to prevent sex trafficking from taking place on its internet platforms. The suits also alleged that Facebook benefited from the sexual exploitation of trafficking victims.

The justices said the case could proceed under a provision of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code passed in 2009. They also noted that Congress had amended Section 230 to allow civil liability for websites that violate state or federal human trafficking laws. Liability can attach if the company knows human trafficking occurs on its site and takes no action.

The grooming and recruiting of victims on social media is not just a problem in Texas. The Human Trafficking Institute monitors cases nationwide and found 41% of cases originate on social media. Additionally, while Facebook accounted for 59% of online recruitment of victims in 2020, the institute found that predators used other platforms to recruit victims as well:

After Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat were the most frequently cited social media platforms for recruiting child victims, accounting for 14% (15) and 8% (8) of child recruitment, respectively.117 Among adults, other top platforms were WeChat (43%, 12) and Instagram (7%, 2).118 Overall, when examining websites and apps used to recruit victims irrespective of age, the most common sites in active sex trafficking cases—after Facebook—were Instagram (13%, 17), WeChat (9%, 12), and SnapChat (7%, 9)

The public has become increasingly aware of the tools these platforms use to remove content they do not like. Most of this information relates to political content, and whistleblowers have provided detailed programming schemes to outlets like Project Veritas that show the lengths these companies go to censor users. The companies use Section 230 as a shield to accomplish this level of censorship.

Facebook also used it to argue that it was not responsible for the trafficking of several young women in Texas. The judges were having none of it:

“Holding internet platforms accountable for the words or actions of their users is one thing, and the federal precedent uniformly dictates that Section 230 does not allow it,” the opinion said. “Holding internet platforms accountable for their own misdeeds is quite another thing. This is particularly the case for human trafficking.”
