More Proof that Tech Giants Twitter, Facebook and YouTube Are Working with Democrat State Governments to Censor Conservatives

During the 2020 election cycle Dr. Shiva Ayyarurai discovered that Twitter has built a special portal offered to certain governmental entities so that government officials can flag and delete content they dislike for any reason, as part of what they call “Twitter Partner Status.”

But there is now evidence that Twitter is not the only tech giant engaging in this type of coordinated behavior to silence, censor, and discriminate against conservative voices.

We have found similar privileges given to Democrat government entities by the operatives at YouTube and Facebook.

TWITTER–

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, the man who invented email, ran for US Senate in Massachusetts as a Republican and made allegations of voter fraud on Twitter. These tweets were then deleted by the far-left tech giant. Later it was discovered that they were deleted at the direction of government employees of the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office.

Discovering this, Dr. Ayyadurai filed a federal lawsuit by himself, alleging that his federal civil rights were violated when the government silenced his political speech in order to affect an election

Federal Judge Mark L. Wolf, a 1985 Reagan Appointee, set a hearing on pending motions for May 20, 2021 at 9:30AM EST. His court orders make it quite clear he is taking this case seriously and the court is highlighting several relevant cases that should give Twitter and its Big Tech bully buddies some pause.

By quoting these two cases, legal observers note, the judge is signaling that Twitter’s days of claiming it is a private company so as to avoid it’s clear oppression of conservative speech, banning scores of conservative journalists, and promotion of liberal views, may be coming to a close end:

Manhattan Cmty. Access Corp. v. Halleck, 139 S. Ct. 1921, 1928 (2019)

“A private entity can qualify as a state actor in a few limited circumstances-including, for example, … when the government compels the private entity to take a particular action…”

Blum v. Yaretsky, 457 U.S. 991, 1004 (1982)

“a State normally can be held responsible for a private decision only when it has exercised coercive power or has provided such significant encouragement, either overt or covert, that the choice must in law be deemed to be that of the State”

This case could spell the end of CDA 230.

CDA 230 is the provision of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 that gives internet and social media companies legal immunity from lawsuits due to the content they publish.

This provision in law gives companies like Facebook and Twitter a way to dismiss lawsuits, but it also gives them the ability to act with impunity so that their actions cannot be legally challenged. These companies have, according to their detractors, abused this immunity by suppressing dissident, and specifically conservative, views, viewpoints and journalism.

Because Dr. Ayyadurai did not argue about Twitter’s “Terms of Service” everything will instead hinge on the degree of interaction between Twitter and the state government of Massachusetts.

Biden Admin. Halts Federal Executions

WASHINGTON – (DOJ) – Today, Attorney General Merrick B. Garland issued a memorandum imposing a moratorium on federal executions while a review of the Justice Department’s policies and procedures is pending.

“The Department of Justice must ensure that everyone in the federal criminal justice system is not only afforded the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States, but is also treated fairly and humanely,” said Attorney General Garland. “That obligation has special force in capital cases.”

In the last two years, the department made a series of changes to capital case policies and procedures and carried out the first federal executions in nearly two decades between July 2020 and January 2021. That included adopting a new protocol for administering lethal injections at the federal Bureau of Prisons, using the drug pentobarbital. Attorney General Garland’s memorandum directs the Deputy Attorney General to lead a multi-pronged review of these recent policy changes, including:

A review coordinated by the Office of Legal Policy of the Addendum to the Federal Execution Protocol, adopted in 2019, which will assess, among other things, the risk of pain and suffering associated with the use of pentobarbital.

A review coordinated by the Office of Legal Policy to consider changes to Justice Department regulations made in November 2020 that expanded the permissible methods of execution beyond lethal injection, and authorized the use of state facilities and personnel in federal executions.

A review of the Justice Manual’s capital case provisions, including the December 2020 and January 2021 changes to expedite execution of capital sentences.

The Attorney General’s memorandum requires the reviews to include consultations with a wide range of stakeholders including the relevant department components, other federal and state agencies, medical experts and experienced capital counsel, among others.

No federal executions will be scheduled while the reviews are pending.

Japanese Government Officially Recommends 4-Day Work Week

While the Covid scourge is gradually fading away from the collective consciousness one day at a time, its consequences have forever changed the work landscape for many companies, and more and more institutions - and also nations - are starting to experiment with a four day work week.

Three months ago we reported that Awin CEO Adam Ross, who recently allowed workers at his company to leave early on Fridays, told Bloomberg that "we firmly believe that happy, engaged, and well-balanced employees produce much better work. They find ways to work smarter, and they’re just as productive."

It's not just Awin. It's a trend that is growing much larger around the globe. For example, according to ZipRecruiter, postings that have mentioned a four day work week have tripled over the last three years, to 62 per 10,000 postings. Major companies like Unilever are even experimenting with the four day work week.

Not surprisingly, the nation that discovered Siesta made an aggressive push into the 4-day workweek when Spain's ruling socialists launched a nationwide test of a 4-day work week in April, and now even Japan is getting on the bandwagon because as part of the government's initiative to improve the nation's "work-life (im)balance", Japan's famously hard-working salarymen officially are encouraged to reduce the amount of time they spend in the office environment.

The recently unveiled annual economic policy guidelines include new recommendations that companies permit their staff to opt to work four days a week instead of the typical five.

As DW reports, the coronavirus pandemic has already brought huge changes to the way that Japanese corporations — many of which are still highly rigid and traditional — go about their business. Political leaders now hope to convince management that flexible working hours, remote working, growing interconnectedness and a host of other developments can be beneficial if they remain in place even after the end of the health crisis.

Jacksonville police net 2 arrests in online sex sting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men have been arrested following an online sex sting operation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said 26-year old Lajerame McGhee, of St. Marys, and 56-year-old Martin Lewis, of Jacksonville, both face charges of soliciting a child for sex and traveling to meet a child for sex.

According to arrest reports, undercover JSO detectives began an online operation last week targeting people suspected of using the internet to meet with minors. Police said a detective posing as a 14-year-old girl entered a chat room on a dating website where the detective contacted McGhee.

Police said the communication between the undercover detective and McGhee went from a chat room to text messages where McGhee made explicit comments despite being told she was only 14. Police said McGhee drove to a prearranged location to meet the girl for sex, but was immediately met by waiting officers.

During that same timeframe, investigators said, Lewis responded to an online profile posted by an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old boy on another dating app.

According to the arrest report, Lewis made explicit comments and was arrested when he showed up at a prearranged location to meet who he thought was a minor.

Both men were released from jail on bond.

==Father poses as underage minor to catch child predators; Police make multiple arrests

Captures livestreamed on Colorado dad's YouTube page==

SOUTHERN COLORADO — A Colorado father says more needs to be done to stop child predators from targeting young children on dating apps and he's now taking matters into his own hands.

In what some may call vigilante justice, Thomas Fellows poses as an underage teen to lure men on the Internet and then live streams the videos on YouTube when they show up in-person.

Fellows is a window washer who now spends his days working to catch predators.

Armed with cameras and safety vests, Fellows and a small team gear up to expose older men hoping to meet young boys and girls for sexual encounters.

"I go on a dating app called Grindr," Fellows said. "I never reach out to these people. They reach out to me first. They ask me my age and I tell them I'm 13 and they are supposed to block me and have me banned."

While Fellows says some people will do the right thing and ban his profile, he says a majority of men have no problem quickly advancing the online conversation.

News 5 asked, "How quickly after the conversation starts do these me want to meet up?"

"Sometimes it's within 30 minutes," he said. "Sometimes it's a couple of days. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, then nude photos and then wanting to meet within 30 minutes."

News 5 ask, "It really happens that quickly?"

"Yes," Fellows said. "That quick."

When the men arrive for those "casual encounters", they're met by Fellows and his cameras.

"Have a seat," Fellows can be heard saying after "busting" an adult man looking to meet a 13-year-old boy.

Fellows asks the man what he's doing.

He caught heaps more
