I just found this article very interesting regarding a loop hole with the fourth amendment with GPS devices that track humans and cellphone pings without a FISA warrant or court order. This service was meant to monitor inmates’ calls could track you, too!
Securus Technologies does this by going through a system typically used by marketers and other companies to get location data from major cellphone carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.
