I truly hope so. But as a 23+ Year Retireeand Disabled Veteran of the Military and Federal Law Enforcement, shit only changes when you actually do something to right the wrongs, not simply sit back and "Enjoy The Show"…

Oops wrong coin pic. This one at the top (Dark Pewter Gray) is a coin that mysteriously came jingling and rolled to my feet in a dark parking lot on the night my first Son was born. I was called out of Gurdmount at Andrews AFB in 2000, right after we had a moment of Silence for one of our brother Security Force members, because his son had just died during birth. I was then notified to drop my weapons and get my ass to the same hospital as my wife had gone into labor. I arrived and signed into the maternity ward and my friend's name was the one before mine. I walked through the doors and met my friend who had completely lost it. All I could do was hug him. I then went to my wife and stayed with her for the delivery. I went out to the car with mixed emotions to get the diaper bag and supplies. I was crying both of extreme joy and sadness. I herd a metallic sound and something hit my foot. I looked down and picked it up. It had the phrase, "When God Closes One Door, He Opens Another", on one side. I flipped it over and it was the Tomb of Christ with the Stone Rolled Away on the obverse. The following year I became knee deep in 911 and the longest wars in our beloved Nation's History.

 

My body is broken now, but I know one thing for sure….
