Hawaii plane crash

Plane was an older 1975 model 737-200 cargo plane operating on inter-island cargo flights.

Plane suffered problems with #1 engine soon after take-off from Honolulu Intl.

Plane turned back but was having problems maintaining altitude .

Control suggested diverting to a closer airport Kalaeloa but were unable to reach it so the plane ditched two miles from the airport.

Both crew rescued and reported safe.
